  2. Boat trailer option

    Please add an option for towing a trailer. I'll be towing a 23' boat from DC to ME in August. Generally this can only go on interstates and roads without height restrictions. I know from past drives that Waze will try to take us on the Merritt or Taconic parkways where trailers are not allowed and clearance is low

  3. HOV only ramps and roads

    When Wazers select an HOV route, because of the way HOV was implemented, any direct access ramp or otherwise HOV only road will never be suggested.

    Waze needs to be able to suggest all HOV options, including HOV only flyovers and ramps.

    Good morning,
    Would it be possible to create an option to hide the street name? At certain intersections, the purple sign hides the white arrow. Additionally, with Android Auto, the street name is already indicated. Sincerely. RR

  5. Navigation for larger van / lorry or caravan / trailer.

    Many drive in a larger van / lorry or with a caravan / trailer.
    Would it not be possible for you to choose vehicle type and based on size, Waze creates a route where you are not led out on very small roads.
    You can in other navigation systems, such as TomTom Go

    Please consider an option of RV routes on paved roads only.It would be nice to select road type for all vehicles.

  7. Route suggestion

    Noticed Waze always gives a longer route to destination which is quite silly. I suggest Waze can roll out analysis suggestions on 1)the shortest possible route, 2) the quickest possible route & 3) Waze recommended route instead of the current 3 route suggestions that are very similar.

  8. Introduce a Waze for trucks and caravans

    Increasingly people are relying more and more on navigation. The app provides the quickest and most direct routes which is great for normal circumstances. However, trucks, Lorrie’s, large motor homes are not taken into consideration. I live near a golf course where a small road crosses the fairways and we are seeing more and more large vehicles on a road which is totally unsuitable for them and can often get stuck. There needs to be a version which keeps trucks and towing vehicles on appropriate roadways. There are ‘caravan related sat nav’s such as Co pilot and perhaps Waze can…

  9. Block a turn only to myself.

    A single segment makes my daily travel to work and son therapy only 1-2 minutes shorter, but through a neighborhood I avoid because it's full of turns and bad pavement. I wish I could make that single turn red on the WME but only for me so Waze can route me to any other route it sees better for me.

  10. Feature to Avoid Specific Road

    I really do love Waze! You guys are great! But can you PLEASE add an option to avoid specific roads (or steps of a route)? There’s a route that Waze directs me on my commute daily, both ways, that includes 2 roads that are extremely dangerous. I don’t mean difficult intersections or something like that. I mean regularly reported gun violence, car jackings at stop signs/lights, and gang activity. I literally had this map editing option back in the days of printing out mapquest directions… any kind of option would be wonderful! Thank you!

    Please add an option to avoid country roads in the UK, and stick to motorways, A and B roads only. Country roads are very narrow and dangerous

  12. Enhancing Navigation by Selectively Considering Planned Road Closures

    One possible solution could be to include a checkbox that allows editors to choose which planned closures are considered so important that they should be taken into account in the navigation before they become effective. This way, editors can select only the closures that are critical for navigation, while excluding those that are not as important.

    For example, in Switzerland these days, the Gotthard Tunnel is closed at night for cleaning.   13. Add stops

    Before, it was possible to add multiple stops on Waze, and this is important for me since I work with deliveries. However, after the latest updates, it's only possible to add a single stop. On top of that, instructions like "turn right," "turn left," and "roundabout" are no longer being spoken, which makes using Waze impractical and forces me to rely on Google Maps. Please bring back the feature to add multiple stops because, even on the slowest day, I have seven consecutive deliveries to complete.     Hi,
    Since Waze is now linked to Google Maps, it would be great if I could transfer a planned route from Google Maps with multiple stops to my Waze app.

  15. Close the Segment user is currently on

    In Rural areas the users may encounter a situation where the road may be closed due to a problem like a downed tree or other issues. In order for Waze to re-route it needs to know that the road is closed and there is no way to report a closure of the current segment that they are on. App only allows reporting of the closure from the nearest intersection in the direction of travel, which will fail to re-route.

  17. Aide au chauffeur poids lourds

    Bonjour je suis chauffeur poids lourd, j’aime beaucoup votre application mais malheureusement elle nous vient pas en aide a100% quand ont exercent notre métier. Faire une mise à jour avec les ponts et leurs hauteurs de signalé serait une excellente idées car malheureusement il n’y a pas énormément de gps qui propose ça. Bonne journée à vous

  19. Vitesse maximale paramétrable pour chaque type de voie

    Mon employeur m'impose les vitesses maximales suivantes :
    - 110 km/h sur les voies limitées à 130 km/h,
    - 100 km/h sur les voies limitées à 110 km/h,
    - 80 km/h sur les routes bidirectionnelles permises à 90km/h.
    Je souhaiterais pouvoir définir ces paramètres pour optimiser mon itinéraire.

  20. Show alternate route traffic

    Give the capability to tap the screen to see alternate route traffic. For instance, Original Route goes from Point A to B to C to D to E. Along the way, WAZE reroutes and goes from A to B to M to N to E.
    It would be beneficial to the user to be able to tap the screen, and see both routes- the new one, and the original with red where the traffic is.
