HOV depending on people in car
As you plan a trip, if there are HOV lanes, the app should ask how many people are in the car so that you can be directed to HOV lanes if you pass the requirements for those lanes. Thx :)

Avoid car only roads
Sometimes a car is towing a trailer and they're not allowed on the same roads as only cars. It would be nice to be able to hit a button and not have to worry about driving down a road you're not allowed to be on.

Add 2 buttons to main screen
Puta separate “Police” and “Traffic on shoulder” buttons on the main screen on the right side. I am sure these are the two most frequently used buttons. Removing the additional steps for these two alerts will make it much easier on drivers AND encourage more participation amount users. My friend uses WAZE, but never alerts the app of police because it takes multiple steps to post alert. It will also provide a more accurate location since those two would need only one touch.

improve Speeding Alerts
Could the speed indicator be improved in this way: Right now, the speeding icon stays white up to the speed limit, then as soon as 1 mph over, it goes red. I have my alert threshold set to 10% over the speed limit. I would prefer if the speeding icon does not go red until that 10% overage is exceeded. Otherwise the icon would be red most of the time, as most people drive a few mph over the speed limit. And having it red most of the time defeats the warning. It only needs to go red when speeding…

Recalculate button and earlier "heavy traffic reported head" warning
I use Waze regularly and quite often 2 things come to mind.
1. Why isn't there a "recalculate" botton available so that I can force Waze to recalculate my optimal road whenever I want to?
For example:
On my way to work every morning (35 km/22 miles away), there is a section of the highway where the road splits in two, and depending on traffic, sometimes going to the right is faster, while other times is faster on the left. Mark temporary the route as blocked, unavailable, reroute options
Add the option to mark the current route or road segment as unavailable or ability to calculate completely alternate route for the next couple of miles. I found myself multiple times on a suggested route that was closed due to roadwork, incident or event by the police for some reason. I tried to avoid it but waze kept on routing me back that blocking point… I usually have to drive random a lot of miles until the route changes enough so that I can be given an alternate route. L'alerte de survitesse sonore est actuellement fait que par un petit beep sonore et uniquement dans les zones dangereuses.
J'aimerais avoir une alerte de survitesse sonore permanente par un beep-beep quand je dépasse la vitesse autorisée.
avec des options:
1) Tout le temps ou que dans les zones dangereuses.2) avoir le choix du son beep-beep et avec son intensité.
3) l'arrêter momentanément en tapotant sur l'indicateur de vitesse rond.
