  4. Let to use keyboard (as passanger) on Android Auto

    As a user, I would like to have with Android Auto the same option as with Apple CarPlay to use the keyboard as a passenger.

    Currently, while I'm driving with family f.e. on a highway in my country it's illegal to stop on the side of the road. So I'm not able to enter the destination address while in motion. My wife as a passenger has to plug out my phone from USB and enter it manually and plug it in again. It's just plain stupid. It's not even a security option if I have to use my phone to…

  5. Move the search function back to the top in Car Play

    A recent update has put the search icon as a small icon in the lower right. This is a horrible design. It used to be a big icon at the top of the screen. That was much easier to find.

  6. Selecting a map location anytime

    We really need to be able to tap on a location on the map & report issues. While driving it’s hard to pinpoint exactly where the alert is needed. I’m usually off by a mile or so. If I was able to tap that location, one I’ve already passed or even a road I know is closed, it would help other drivers. I don’t always get construction alerts so I can go another way. Which in some cases has caused over an hour delay. Even when I know the road has construction, it’s usually not on the map. If I…

  7. Hello, how to go to a contact whose the adress is like 45.123456, 1.123456

    Hello, I would like to go to a contact whose the adess is like 45.123456, 1.123456.
    For my travels, I use my contacts as a destination.
    I have authorized Waze to access my contacts and it works well if the address is indicated in the form: Rue du Centre 12340 LaVille
    But instead of this conventional address, I would like to indicate in the address field "45.123456,1.123456"
    But Waze reads "45.123456,1.123456, FR" and can't interpret this place.
    I wonder if it's possible, and if it's not possible, could the Waze team make an update?

  9. have a countdown of kilometres based on the speed limit when going into a tunnel

    Any time you drive into a tunnel that goes underground the GPS thinks you’re above the ground and starts changing the directions as it thinks you’re above the ground on the Street level when underground in the tunnel so if you need to then go 20 km in the tunnel and there’s various exits. How do you know how far you’ve driven in order to get to your exit underground when it’s recalculating because it thinks you’re above the ground and never figures it out that you’re actually still in the tunnel.   11. 3 idées pour faciliter l'usage de Waze

    1) Je pense qu'il serait utile de permettre de rentrer les coordonnées géographiques (longitude et latitude) de la destination.
    2) Pouvoir sélectionner un lieu sur la carte, en cliquant dessus, permettrait de choisir une destination que l'on connaît mais sans en avoir l'adresse.
    3) il serait utile de pouvoir enregistrer sa position actuelle directement dans Waze (sans devoir se l'envoyer par message) pour pouvoir
    y retourner facilement.

  13. Speed alerts ,audio speed changes,school zones 

      I use Waze to help give me audio alert when I go over the speed limit. Only thing is that it only alerts you one time and if you go over the speed limit again it will not alert you. I would find it very beneficial but it alerts you every time you go over the speed limit.
   I would also would like to have school zones added and alerted. And possibly have speed limit decrease to 20 mph when school zones are active with audio alerts.

    Personaly set speed limit :
    Having a "personaly set speed limit" feature that could be set for a given trip planning, independantly from the speed figures of the drives taken in the past (i.e unlike the already existing Personalized ETA feature) would allow to get planning results corresponding to one's own speed limit decisions, whether they be for EV range optimisation, trailer towing, vehicle capabilities, fuel efficiency on combustion engine vehicles, or other reasons... That would actually also allow to see what is the time cost of "taking it easy".
