Display time of initial recording
How about you add in the settings Enable/Disable "Spotted Time". That way someone could see and evaluate how long these new camera vans park there for. It would display the time the first wazer reported it. And should be disabled by Default.

Alerts dissapear too soon
I Cannon confirm alerts. When the subject appears, alert already dissapeared. Can you add option to close them like 20 seconds later so i can confirm presence or confirm not There?

Dark background in message box
In the new alert layout, the text background is a bit dark and the text is hard to read. I suggest to make the background of the message window a solid color, with more contrast to the text.

Establish a Waze instance on Mastodon
With Twitter (X) becoming more and more unusable as a social media platform, some of us have migrated to other social media platforms to continue communicating about Waze. One such platform is Mastodon, which is part of a defederated network of social media servers that is gaining popularity, particularly among tech folks. If Waze could establish its own Mastodon server, then we could ensure that there is a dedicated space for us to spread the word about Waze, and it could be managed by the same folks that moderate the forums. Split screen issue
Using split screen on the iPad mini in landscape mode for a gps and music is completely broken…. Is there a fix to recenter it ?

Make non-residential place addresses indexed and routable
Editors spend much time adding RPPs to public places because the addresses in the place points are not indexed/routable and the HNs won't connect to the parking lot roads. Plus if routing uses the Google Maps address we spend more time handling URs because the Wazer got routed to the back of the location rather than the front door. This is an absurd waste of time, and adds untold complexity and clutter to the map. Please expand the place addresses to allow for suite numbers or other identifiable info where businesses share the same basic as GM already does, and…

Allow planned drives to show up via Android Auto
Ever since an update came out earlies this spring, Waze has taken a giant step backwards. In the following updates they have remedied a few things (except the awful user interface via Android Auto)...and they still haven't added back key features when using Waze in the car with Android Auto...like PLANNED DRIVES. Duh!

Just like we mark roadworks etc we have a ULAZ button to mark ULAZ cameras and pop up vans !!

To posibility to see arriving time to final destination instead of waypoint
Many times I add waypoint to get route which I prefer. Most of time I'm not interested when I arrive to waypoint but when I arrive to final destination. Sometimes arriving time to waypoint is important so I think it should be easily chosen on display (also in android auto).

increase gasoline price figures in Colombia
When I go to update the gasoline price it only allows me to enter 4 digits, here gasoline is expensive and requires at least 5 digits.
EG: 1520 pesos is not the same as 15200 pesos. Please allow 5 digits!It would also be good that to update the prices a photo is requested to confirm the prices so you do not go editing the price with the risk of someone putting the wrong data. If the price is changed, it is sent with photo evidence and until the information is verified, the change is made.

Easier reporting

Firstly, thank you for this amazing app. I've passed on to several friends now.
My question is about reporting everyone's pet hate, Potholes!
Over the past few weeks I've submitted loads of locations while travelling but most of the time doing the average legal speed, by the time its been 'logged' either by tapping the appropriate icons or doing it via voice command, the pothole is then maybe several yards or more, behind me.My concern is that their locations won't always be spot on. Can I assume that when my screen comes alive with someone else's report that..…

Garden State Parkway
The words "Garden State Parkway" never show up on the Navigation Directions. It only ever says "North" or "South".
It seems like waze is going off of the words on the Highway Signs and not the Icons. On the Signs, there is a picture of the GSP and then says North. But in Waze it only shows the words.1 vote -
Allow us to add or remove speed cameras
We should be allowed to add speeding cameras. I live in DC and the mayor adds and move cameras constantly. it’s new cameras everywhere and they aren’t on Waze. It’s no option to add them. So it doesn’t help me if I see a camera and I cannot warn others of a camera that has been added. That should be changed. We can add traffic and other hazards why not cameras too.

Hide ‘Where To’ in Map View
When you have the map displayed in portrait mode the ‘Where To’ pop up box commands a large part of the screen. I often use the map just to display current and surrounding area not in route navigation mode.
