Interface suggestion
When asking if police or disabled car on side of the road, perhaps separate the “still there” and “not there” buttons. Perhaps one on the top and one on the bottom. Sometimes I accidentally click the wrong button as the car is bumpy and the buttons are too close together. FYI. This is on Apple CarPlay.

Aplicativo Waze rodando em tela bloqueada
Olá,
Vocês devem ter conhecimento de que estamos passando por uma grande onda roubo de celulares em veículos que estão parados no transito das grandes cidades, principalmente São Paulo. Sendo assim, já analisaram a possibilidade da aplicação Waze ser executada com a tela bloqueada? Desta forma, o usuário teria a opção de habilitar esta função e evitar que o ladrão tenha acesso aos seus apps e dados quando seu celular for furtado, sem perder a funcionalidade de ver o mapa durante seu trajeto.

Adding zooming capability
Hi I'm using in my car for waze navigation an android 10 device carplay UX999MAX. The device doesn't support multi-touch therefore I can't perform zooming out/in. It would be amazing if you add the the apps an icon +/- to enable such capability. Thanks Shamai

New source on Waze
I make a suggest for Waze: should you guys insert a source by GPS and infrared connections to traffic lights, that it works lowering the time of red light on those traffic signals, by flood of people registered on Waze database.

Fix the voice commands when using Android Auto.
Waze used to have a lot of voice commands that kept one from physically interacting with the APP. Since Google bought Waze, this no longer works.
Fix this. It is dangerous for me to have to physically interact with the app while driving.

Remove auto-refocus on remove notification for non-touch screen
When there is a notification, the default focus is to remove the notification. Since latest update this is also flashing, meaning if you navigate to confirm and want to press select (2 actions) and you time it wrong, by the time you can press to confirm (non-touch screen) you accidentally remove the notification instead of confirming. The flashing for attention is a nice addition, but the auto-focus is not. Can this be improved?

Change autofocus in new UI to report instead of search
With the latest update, the "Search" icon is always selected by default and will be selected again if inactive for 10-15s. It takes 7 (!!!) navigational taps towards the "report" icon with a non-touch screen. While driving it's probably more likely to want to report on things on the road than searching for new routes.

The Waze map display lags BADLY when used via CarPlay on my 2022 Kia telluride. The sound / alerts are correct but the map lags about a mile behind where I am located. It’s extremely frustrating. Please fix.

Add a 2nd Work address
I have two (2) suggestions ......
1. add a 2nd work address. With so many Wazers working two jobs, being able to enter in a 2nd address makes commuting to one or the other or between the two, so much easier. No searching through "Favorites" to find the 2nd address and best route- Have the ability to confirm that it's the passenger wanting to add/alter a location, destination or search. Driving with a passenger down the freeway and having them perform a new search or to add an address still requires the driver to pull over and stop, so the…

making sure Waze know what driver you are
the past few months I've been getting tickets because i was driving in a bus lane. i never knew how i would end up in this situation. until i called up to pay a 500NIS ticket and the lady suggested i check my Waze setting to see what my car is registered under. unfortunately when i check it was registered as a taxi. i now know why i got all those tickets. i don't even remember it asking if i was a taxi, i have never been a taxi driver. all im asking from Waze ks to make a reminder…

Detour update
I use Waze everytime I travel. It's a great app and very user friendly. However when it sends you on a detour (ex: because of construction or an accident ahead), it should say why it's changed (why your taking a detour) your original path. I was traveling by myself over night and didn't take the detour, because I was uncomfortable and unfamiliar with the detour it suggested) to take and got stuck in a construction traffic jam.

Waze keeps freezing on Samsung S23 Ultra
Waze keeps freezing on Samsung S23 Ultra. The screen locks, the butons or scroll through the map don't work. The same on Android Auto. I have to force close the app.
