  1. BUG: Using phone speaker option not working in CarPlay (latest iOS)

    Waze should play sounds through the phone speakers when connected to CarPlay and when this setting is set in the Waze options. Situation right now is, that this option get fully ignored. This is bad when the phone outputs to a different audio device e.g. through bluetooth and the CarPlay sounds are muted. You have no change to get any audio from Waze in this situation. Please fix or at least also support output to different bluetooth device while connected to CarPlay.

  2. Android Auto - Settings icon

    Hello.
    I use Android, everything is up to date. When I get in and start the car, Android Auto starts and there is a settings icon in the Waze application. While driving, this icon disappears and after stopping the car it is not visible. So when I want to set something, I have to disconnect and reconnect when the car is stationary. I understand that some settings are not allowed while driving, but they could be visible.

  3. Home & Work separated settings

    1st world problem here. I’d like an option that for my normal routes, like my saved “home” & “work”, to have different settings. I live in a toll infested area, when I drive to work everyday, I don’t want to take the tolls, but my other driving, I might. I’d like to be able to set up my routine drive to avoid tolls, but regular driving to have the option. I have to go in and switch the toggle back to “ON” for Tolls depending upon my drive.   4. Show a loading indicator when searching is in progress

    When searching is in progress there is no indicator that the search is still in progress or the search is done. There is no "loading" icon showed.

  5. Record audio while reporting an issue (and convert to text?)

    When I'm using "report an issue" functionality in CarPlay/while driving, I cannot type what the issue is about. Later, when I'm asked by some community member what the issue is about, I have to recall what it was about and there were cases that I forgot. The issue categories got narrowed so we can't pick the exact issue while reporting it (I don't understand the removal of speed limit issue - the most common issue I'm reporting!).

    Since Waze has access to my microphone, I was thinking that maybe a short recording could be made after I report an issue…

  6. editing routes

    I have a route, originally to a street address which I knew, to meet someone whose name I didn't know. Once I learned their name, I wanted to edit the route from the name of the small town where I was headed, to the name of the person I was meeting. I haven't found a way to do that without creating a new route. This seems like an easy modification.

  8. Adding coastal bridge closings and openings to Waze.

    I asked Grok to write an app so that drivers will know when the bridges crossing the intracoastal in my area are up or down, delaying traffic. It showed me how to write it and then I asked if Waze can incorporate this in their great app. So we would love to add that to your algorithm.

  9. App Freezing

    Since the last update, the app just locks up when I try to remove “recent drives”.
    I’ve restarted my device but it makes no difference.
    Each time I have to restart the app to get back to the navigation screen.

  12. Kate (UK) voice: needs some tweaks

    Unlike some other users here, I like the new 'Kate (UK)' voice: I like her tone & generally clear pronunciation. My complaint, however, is when she says "Go straight on": the last "t" of the word "straight" is completely dropped (i.e she says "Go straigh on"), which is out of character with the rest of her otherwise good enunciation, & very annoying! Please fix with an update when you can! Thanks...

  13. Driver Alert - Danger Time for Native Animals

    It is dangerous to drive in many parts of Australia, particularly the outback (but it can also apply to national freeways/highways) around dawn and dusk, as native animals are most active at that time. Hitting a large Kangaroo can cause massive vehicle damage and risk the lives of occupants. Wombats on the highway between Sydney and Canberra can flip a car over if he is at speed.

    It may be helpful to provide alerts when planning the drive that part of the drive is potentially in a dangerous time for native animal activity and to reconsider plans.

    Make visual improvements, especially in detours, exits, etc. to make it more visually attractive. In many applications there is a 3D view of exits, detours, etc., which is very clear and visually appealing.

  17. Change the color of the white arrow at intersections.

    This is my favorite driving app. But when at an intersection the large white arrow does not make it clear which way to turn. It needs to be the same color as the route line. When driving it is difficult to focus on the map, a dark color arrow would make it much easier to know which way to turn. This is for every intersection.

  18. Add stop problem

    The app was good.
    But there's one thing to fix it.
    When use add stop while on going trip, after arrived to first location, the trip suddenly stop. I mean literally stop, not continue until the arrived last location.
    Please fix this.

    Hola. En el ingreso a San Antonio de Areco (Bs As) el navegador te envía por un camino de tierra no señalizado. Los días de lluvia, los extranjeros quedan varados ya que el mismo esta en pésimas condiciones.
    Quisiera que pudieran corregir esa indicacion
