Default Icons for Common Selections on main selection screen instead of going through menu selections
Allow users to create defaults for commonly used selections.
Example, when car is located on a route on the side of the road, you have to select hazard -> on shoulder -> vehicle stopped.
Would be nice to have the button vehicle stopped on main screen as it is one of the most common selections I choose.

Dear Waze team, my name is Alexander and I work for the NGO ESJF which job consists of mapping process of Jewish cemeteries in eastern Europe (Slovakia, Moldova, Lithuania, Ukraine, Greece). At this moment I'm looking for a way to share data that we have collected (GPS coordinates of new discovered cemeteries) to make it more public available and attract more attention to the Jewish cemeteries. Accurate info
Why I waze so trficulously far off on a 220 mile trip? Waze says 169 miles from Coos Bay Oregon to Portland..... Waze is wrong by 50 miles! Is this air miles?

Navigation does not default to the closest result
For example, if I'm looking for a local credit union I can tell Waze to search for it, but the result may be something a thousand miles away in New York instead of something in my own county. If I look for a restaurant it may gave me the corporate office in another state instead of one 5 miles away. The problem is exacerbated with the voice dictation system which blocks the results with the keyboard even though you're using voice dictation. You can never trust the results because you are not assured that Waze is sending you to the…

Speed camera and I keep entering it with no luck
There is a speed camera on Willets point Boulevard and 148th St., Whitestone, NY 11357 I try to add it but it still does not pop up and I see people get hit left and right with the Waze app what is it gonna take I do it almost every day and still no luck

Stop the limits
When I tried to report potholes (there were a lot of them), in order to report accurate information to the Public Works department, so they could fix it the issue.
When is this going to be updated, so that anyone can report as many potholes as there are in reality?
It would be nice to be able to have direct contact to Public Works departments as well, so they could know about the issue. The report should stay on the map for everyone to know, until the problem is actually solved (pothole filled up to quality standard specification).2 votes -

The Green line - (Energy/ Gasoline)
The green line- When a Wazer checks optional routes (and also in the preferences/initial destination route) the most energy efficient route shall be marked as the "Green Line".The Wazer should provide Waze with its car model, design, and year so Waze could calculate the energy consumption.There is a difference between the routes because of distance, time, type of ride etc.At the end of the ride the Wazer will be provided with estimated carbon footprint.From Waze perspective - much more data... and from there you can think about many products and ways to monetize it

Would like carpool system for non-commute activities
We need a way to connect people in carpools who are going to the same hike or outing, or perhaps a concert or performance. Different from a commute carpool in that each occasion is unique.
People in outdoor organizations care about their carbon footprint, yet unless they are actual friends with someone they usually don’t have a way to arrange rides or carpooling.
It would be great to be able to have each club sponsor/pay for Waze and enable all their members planning to go on a specific outing to connect with each other to arrange to carpool. Display High Crash Locations
Would it be possible to display high crash areas on my display? We see traffic jams, and shorter routes and even speed traps ahead on my device. Maybe you can show high crash areas ahead as well.
The information is free and attainable in Maine. Is this something Waze would like to explore?Tom Reagan

Add a wireless OBD2 sensor for additional vehicle safety information
Suggest adding a wireless Bluetooth OBD2 device (BlueDriver or OBDLink MX+) so Waze can access safety features from your vehicle such as:
1. Blind spot warning
2. Accidental lane departure
3. Show when turn signals are on - for those that forget - optional beep after 5 seconds and before my wife says “YOUR BLINKERS ON!!!”
4. Etc.Option - For lane departure and blind spot warning above - when the two are triggered the Waze display or the hud display below could kick in the appropriate mirror camera video (if the vehicle has mirror cameras) so you see the…

Automatically share drive
When heading home I now share my ETA through Apple maps ios13 feature, but use Waze to give me accurate road conditions. Share my drive needs to have automatic sharing of eta to pre determined contacts and give real-time updates like apple maps or “Glympse” does.

Waze image flip option
I have been using waze at night. When I put the phone in the holder, either on the car dashboard or windshield, it disturbs my vision. When I place it on the car's dashboard (no holder, phone facing up, the image reflects on the windshield, but the image is reversed. The idea is to have an image flip option to reflect. So I see the information on the windshield and at the same time remains transparent and I can drive safely.
