Waze doesn't load the map on auto auto
Waze works offline when i use wireless android auto and loading the maps completely. Another navigation app work perfectly.

Reporting Turns of Apple Music in CarPlay
Since the "Talk to Report" feature was introduced for user reporting of road hazards etc, as soon as I touch the Report button Music stops and Waze chimes in. This works, but the music won't turn back on. This regardless of the fact that "Talk to Report" is turned off in settings on the iOS App. So far the only cure for Music is to reset the phone (and never report again)! This is a shame, as I like to be part of the community, but the current price is too high.

Add "No lanes closed" response to "Waze Asks" card for roadworks alerts
A recent unannounced change has added a "What do you see?" card when approaching a roadworks alert. The only response options are to report lane closures or to indicate that the roadworks are no longer there. There is no intuitive option to dismiss the question or respond that construction is still taking place but no lanes are closed.
The majority of roadworks take place without any lane closures, yet the app assumes that closures will occur.
Without an intuitive way to respond differently to a lane closure, many users seem to be selecting one of the closure options to dismiss…38 votes -

Star trek idea, could you make an enterprise with the voice of picard or captain archer.
So it would be the nx01 or Enterprise a,b,c or D, with the voice commentary relating to good quirky notes and goings on and police presence. You could even push with Klingon bird of prey and Klingon actor to be aggressive when driving. Oh and when the journey starts the theme tune comes on from the next generation 😎

Removal of turn by turn view via auto android via phone
Could you adjust the phone screen when connected to android auto, main screen on the display in the car, the turn by turn to be removed so you can view the navigation on your phone rather than the display.
Honestly looking down rather that looking across slightly seems alot more safer when driving. I'm resorting to not connecting my phone through the usb connection due to this change.2 votes -
UFO
Id love to see a detailed UFO saucer on the map, with a celebrity voice of someone like Mulder or scully commenting on the phenomenons, that could be present. With the addition of the X files theme when you set off.

Add Automatic Distance Unit Option
I’d like to propose an “automatic” option for distance units in Waze, similar to Google Maps. This would allow the app to adjust units based on the country a traveler is in, eliminating the need to manually switch in settings each time. It’s not only more convenient for frequent travelers but also improves safety, since mismatched units between road signs and the app could lead to confusion while driving.

Messages pour les vitesses limites
- Alertes : remplacer les bips par des messages vocaux adaptés : Exemple : “Attention ralentisseur dans 200 m vitesse 30 km/h” “Attention fort ralentissement à 500 m sur votre trajet” “Attention zone de contrôle à 500 m, réduisez votre vitesse à 80 km/h” “Attention un véhicule est arrêtés dans 1 km”
- Pour les changement de vitesse limite : Lors d'un changement de limite de vitesse, une message vocal indique l'action et la vitesse à atteindre et la distance du changement : "Ralentissez à 70 km/h dans 200 mètres" "Vous pouvez maintenant rouler à 110km/h" quand la vitesse autorisée augmente.

“Hey Siri, stop navigation/ directions”
Right now, whilst in the middle of driving, once I know where I am, I no longer require directions. Currently there is no voice command for turning off directions whilst driving. I don’t like to keep my eyes off the road and hands off the vehicle but currently the only way to turn off the directions is pressing the bottom of the app and then press “stop”.
It makes sense that if there’s a “navigation on” option, there should also be a “navigation off” option too. Thanks for this consideration.1 vote -

If you living in a city with a tram system you have a lot of warning crossing a tram line. It would be better to have different categories for this warning for tram and trains.

There is some places the radar been moved but still on the map

Directions when app is minimized
It would be super neat if Waze showed directions via any means (Notifications like Google maps or even a pop-up map like Google Maps) when the app is minimized.
I noticed an option to show them on lock screen, but it like, doesn't.
(Also, for a while now after one of the updates months ago it stopped updating ETA when there is an alert, I have to tap to dismiss it for it to update. Also, I turned off all alerts for construction but it still pops up constantly near the bottom on top of bar where it says ETA.…

I dont have an idea – there's a problem
We have been driving from Toronto to Ottawa this morning, and all along HWY 401, every single report of police or cars on the side has been bogus. Not one of them has been right, and there have been a LOT of reports – way too many to be true. I expect a few cops and cars will have moved along before we see them, but not every one of them. Something is wrong with the algorithm, or someone is being a ******* and reporting things that aren't there.
