Report a danger from a person
I am reporting this on behalf on my 10-year old: In NYC, you frequently see panhandlers in the middle of our busy streets. Could you add an option to report a person in the middle of the street as a potential danger? They are now being reported as "danger: object in the street" or "danger: animal in the street" which I find very offensive

It would be great if the Units could switch automatically between Miles and KMs based on your location
I travel between UK and France a lot. I would help a lot if the Units could automatically switch based on the country you are currently in. I believe this would be helpful for people who travel between US and Canada too.

Constant alarm when you go over the speed limit with thresholds
Most speeding limit cameras are set to issue a ticket for going greater than 10mph over the limit. I'd like an alarm that goes off and continues to go off for as long as you are X mph over the speed limit AND where you can adjust X to whatever threshold limit you desire.
If the threshold in your state is 10mph over the limit, I would probably make the alarm to go off and stay beeping as long as I'm greater than 8 mph over the speed limit.In other states such as VA and KY, a ticket can…

E-mail alerts for road closures
I'd like to have e-mail alerts for long-term road closures due to construction, flooding, etc. Those of us in trucking and other nationwide transportation industries could be kept aware without having to scan the entire national map.

improve voice recognition
I assumed that Waze was using similar voice recognition engine to Google. But I have the worst time getting Waze to recognize my voice. It's not me nor my phone. I can say to Waze "Ok Waze report police ahead" and nine times out of ten it'll say "sorry I didn't recognize that". If I hit the home button (to bring up home screen and have Google Assistant take over) I can say Ok Google take a note report police ahead" and it'll correctly create a note "report police ahead"

spoken voice warning for hazards
SAFETY!
Every time there is a hazard reported you need to look on the screen to identify what it is.
Please add spoken voice warning so drivers do not need to take their eyes off the road when the warning comes in - sometimes the hazard is moving or flagged too late on the road and you could already "bump" into it...6 votes -

Ads in Complex Intersections
Stop showing ads as I come into an intersection and NEED to see what turn is after the intersection. Same thing with the carpool ad. After I tell you 100 times I can't carpool, stop blocking my turns with useless ads that only annoy.

The Alternative Route Calculation Appears to Disregard Options without Freeways with avoid freeways turned off.
Hi, I’ve noticed on several occasions that when I look at “other routes” with “avoid freeways” turned off, the app will suggest only routes that use freeways, even though some of these have longer time estimates and longer distances than some options that appear with “avoid freeways” turned on.

Waze should connect with government fuel watch programs (where available)
Some governments - such as the NSW state government in Australia - make petrol stations list their fuel price online: https://fuelcheck.nsw.gov.au/app
Waze should integrate with these sites to have LIVE fuel prices where available (without having to rely on users).

cut-through traffic on residential streets
Jackson Boulevard in Nashville, TN -- no businesses, churches or schools on this 1 1/2-mile long, residential street. AT THE VERY LEAST, warn Waze clients, when they're redirected through neighborhoods, THAT THEY ARE IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA WITH CHILDREN.

CarPlay volumn
Hello
I am so grateful that Waze now works with CarPlay on my new Mercedes E300. I noticed that Waze will reduce the volume of other apps on my iPhone, so that I can continue to hear the other app in the background as Waze provides navigation.
However, Waze appears to connect to CarPlay via the car's navigation volume control while other CarPlay apps connect to CarPlay via the car's entertainment volume control. Consequently, CarPlay stops other audio while Waze makes navigation announcements.

Bring back other calendars than google calendars (ex. outlook calendar) to synchronize with in "planned routes"
"Planned routes" is a great feature to plan my routes, but lately it is only possible to synchronize with google calendars. Please bring back the feature to synchronize with other calendars, like outlook calendar, as well, so I do not have to manually import my meetings in Waze.

Please fix the CarPlay issues,
Please fix the CarPlay issues. Directional information covers the speed limit, move the speed limit to the top left? Speed camera notifications cover too much screen, make these transparent? Show the average speed camera distance like on the mobile version of the app. After turning a corner the map takes too long to realise you’ve turned meaning you scan easily miss your next turn if it’s close after.

Serait-il possible de « supprimer l’adresse de travail » pour les personnes qui ne travaillent plus comme les retraités ou autres...
Autre suggestion.
Serait-il possible, en cas de dépassement de vitesse prolongé (durée réglable?) de faire clignoter l’icone de limite de vitesse tout le temps du dépassement. Le but étant d’attirer l’attention sur ce dépassement.

BT, Waze audio message presilence and setting (secs)
Please add presilence and related paremeter (in seconds) in settings for Waze audio messages.
Beggining of Waze audio message is cut (around 2-3 seconds) if phone is not connected all the time to car bluetooth system and connects only during the message. For exampe I am listening car stereo system and waze connectes to car audio system BT only in case of message. This issue can be resolved by adding presilence to waze audio message and adding parameter in settings for the length of presilence (2-3 seconds should be enough).
