  1. Car care features implemented in to the Waze

    Waze could have same kind of an fuctionality as there are in many car care apps in the market.
    -Counting mileages and fuel consumption.
    -You could set up odometer reading when u should change oil etc etc and Waze could remind you of that.
    -When navigating to a far away destination Waze could warn u if gas should run out before you reach there and suggest gas station en route.

    For example on iPhone there is app called Gas Cubby that can count mileages and costs for running your car but you have to put in mileage and gas price…

  2. Google Now (Jelly Bean) integration

    Right now I can fire off navigation from Google Now to Google Maps. Waze is offered as an app to do this, but does not accept the external input of the destination to Navigate to.

  3. Change the street name display

    Displaying all the street names horizontally makes the names unusable since I can’t tell what street the name applies to. In the Live Map application the printing of the names follow the street. If some people want all of the names horizontal, why not offer both options via a personal setup?

  4. How about annoucing police or traffic jams by voice instead of pop ups.

    Announcing in the voice warning police in area or traffic ahead in x miles.

  5. Eco mode

    How about an Eco mode that would give you a warning beep if you accelerate or decelerate too fast or drive over the posted speed limit? Of course, the driving speed (for traffic) would need adjusted (because if you're driving 10 under the speed limit for MPG reasons that doesn't mean that there's traffic issues).

  8. Allow other users to send address to my handheld client

    Allow facebook friends, waze group members, etc. to send an address to my handheld client if I am online.
    1) When an address is recieved by the client, ask the user to accept the route, reject the route or block all address pings.
    2) If I don't have a route set, auto accept the aaddress after 10 seconds.
    3) Add a new category to the Address Search dialog similar to My Favorites, Recent searches, Contacts, etc. List the received addresses for easy access.

  9. System constantly reroutes then the server times out & deletes exsiting route

    When I set a route the system constantly reroutes almost every quarter to half a mile. At least 50% if not greater I will then get a message that the server timed out. This wouldn't be so bad except that when this happens it deletes the route I'm trying to follow until it tries again and usually then the server returns a route. This makes Waze virtually unusable. Please make it that once Waze has a route that it continues displaying and following that route until it gets new information from the user or server for a new route. Even…

  10. Notifications in Android Notification bar when Waze is in the background

    I would like to see an icon popup next to the Waze icon in the Android Notification bar when people send a Ping, comment to your chat, or when an event like police or accidents have been reported. This would be useful when Waze is in the background.

  11. From WME chance to see previous Street View footage

    Currently, only the latest Street View shot can be seen from WME.
    It would be interesting to add a button that allows you to switch to previous Street View shots (a bit like you can do on Google Maps).
    In this case, it would be very useful to see how a street changes, or, for example, if a building is covered by a construction site, it would be possible to go back to previous shots to be able to see the house numbers covered by the construction site.

  12. Voice warnings about several hazards on the road

    Waze has been warning about the next turn during a trip for a long time and this is great. However, there are not only maneuvers on the roads but also different hazards. For example: there is a speed control camera ahead, and an accident happened 50 meters before it. Waze will only warn about one event. This is bad. I suggest voicing such events in order, like turns "Accident ahead, then camera." and other events similarly.

  13. "Satellite View"

    Greetings Waze associates,

    Please add a feature/tool/option that enables a different and realistic map view, much like Google Maps "Satellite View". There's several satellite imagery providers that offers good pictures at reasonable prices, so choosing any shouldn't be an issue.

  14. *NEW* hazard notification for roadkill

    Dear my WAZE PPL

    First, I want to thank waze for creating such an outstanding navigation tool that helps so many drivers stay informed and safe on the road. I truly appreciate how the app continuously evolves to meet the needs of its users.

    I’d like to suggest a potential improvement to the “Hazards” feature. While the current options, such as “Objects on Road,” are helpful, I believe there’s an opportunity to make the app even more informative and user-friendly by adding an alert specifically for roadkill or deceased animals on the road.

  16. Give editors a method to quickly jump to a chat response from another editor

    I literally have thousands of editors that I have chatted with and when one replies, I can see the icon in the top right of my editor screen tells me I have a reply. But to get to it, I must scroll through hundreds (or thousands) of other editors to find the response. Could you make it so I could jump directly to that response?

    These are new editors and it's important that we are quick in our response to them.

    Olá, gostaria de propor que quando o waze estiver off-line, por qualquer que sege o motivo, que ele permanecesse com as informações de locais com interdição, as vezes cai a conexão e onde tem interdição, ele simplesmente ignora e da toda a rota errada, passando pelos locais com interdição, considerando que passe por locais com interdição, varias vezes ja aconteceu comigo, pensem nisso por favor, @renato-cpfl

  20. Floating window on exit

    Would like Waze to implement "floating" window on exit. Or atleast have pop up notification of the next direction, like Google maps has. When I close out Waze, I have no way of knowing the next step unless I reopen app.
