  1. Add “avoid freeways” to drop down menu on map screen.

    It would be super useful to have the option to avoid freeway’s using the drop down list instead of having to scroll through all the preferences to find it. Especially once you’ve already started driving, and you want to change routes. It’s much more useful than “avoid ferries” when you live in a big city. I have 3 freeways near my home, and when I need to go just a few miles it always wants to put on a freeway just to have me get off one exit later.

  2. Car Play phone view switch

    When connected via Car Play, the map can only be seen on the car. The turn-by-turn list is the only thing you see on the phone screen. I want the ability to see the map on the phone too. When re-routing occurs I often want to view the route to see if I want to go a different way. Trying to pinch/move/navigate the car screen is hard, and becomes unsafe very quickly. Pinching/moving on the phone is much easier and ultimately safer.

  3. Can you please provide sorting methods for favorite addresses! Sort by name, distance, zipcode? It's so difficult to find anything!!!

    So frustrating to have so many favorites and you can't find it. Please provide a way to organize favorites by name, address, city, or zipcode.

    Lengte, hoogte en gewicht voorzien voor vtg en route daar rekening mee laten houden, bv beperkingen hoogte of gewicht tijdens de route.
    Zou ideaal zijn voor campers.

  5. Speed Camera Reports throughout an Average Speed Check Zone

    When I’m alerted that i’m in an average speed check zone, I tend to get notified every 20-30 seconds of a camera as part of that zone. It gets repetitive and quite annoying as I know that I need to remain within that speed limit until i’m notified that I have left the average speed check zone. It’s just a suggestion but would it make more sense if speed camera alerts were removed whilst in an average speed check zone?

  7. Locating fuel and restaurants

    Why is it when I search for fuel or food, Waze will give locations in the opposite direction to where I’m traveling? If I’m traveling North, I don’t need locations that are south of my direction.

    I see suggestions for reporting trains, and the responses from Waze are that railroad crossings are now available. However, I would love if we could report when a train is actually there or if Waze was somehow able to detect trains / train schedules and find alternate routes one day. Knowing railroad crossings are helpful, but when there’s a train it could delay ~15 minutes to the route so it would be great to be notified of an active train or be able to report it

  10. Allow Podcast apps integrated

    Allow podcast apps such as Libby and BorrowBox to be intergrated into the Waze app. Currently when I listen to a podcast on a long drive I cannot hear the navigation sounds and waze noises.

  12. Please book back the option for vehicle stopped on road

    But last update removed option for vehicle stopped on road you have a choice of objects stopped or vehicle on shoulder, since then I've come up with two times cars have broken down on the roadway

    Poder seleccionar mas tipos de vehículos, por ejemplo conjunto de vehículos, tienen diferente velocidades y esto altera la ruta mas rápida, o las carreteras por las que circular, tienen restricciones temporales, etc...

  14. Android auto roundabout interface

    The icon that my car is displaying on roundabouts is wrong continously. It has changed, but now shows the exit number and an icon that I need to turn around from where I came from. Please, just do the same as Google Maps is doing, show the right icon witht the right exit number (so exit 1, one quarter of a round).
    Additionally, I also saw at the roundabout near I live that the first exit was displayed as an left turn, which is wrong altogether.

    Hi Good Day

    I trust you are well.

    My name is Brad and I'm a big fan of Waze. Been using it ever since I discovered it. Thank you for creating such a fun and practical navigating app.

    I have a suggestion though, if I may, please can you make an adjustment to where newly saved addresses are shown. When I plan a new journey to a place I put in the address and save it to use later. The update I would like to suggest is to have the latest saved addresses appear at the top of the saved…

    Beste,

    Op de GSM zie je een groene balk die de trajectcontrole aangeeft. Dit gebeurt niet op android auto navigatie van de auto.
    Dit zou wel een mooie optie zijn die veel mensen zou helpen

  19. Show bridges/ low bridges for cars with roof bike racks

    Add an option in the settings>Navigation >preferences, for low bridges that are a big risk for cars with roof bike racks. We’ve had an accident with the roof bike racks, I’ve heard of many other incidents involving the bicycles and the bridges. Thanks

  20. Police report : choosing the exact location

    It is crucial to add a feature that allows users to pinpoint the exact location of police officers on the map. Or to be able to correct the location of the police officer. This increased precision will help drivers easily identify control zones and adjust their speed accordingly.
