Option to Remove CarPool Guy from main screen
Option to remove carpool guy from main screen on the Waze app. I don't car pool so I don't need the carpool icon on my screen at all times.
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Accident Caused. WAZE at fault. I was in heavy traffic and the CARPOOL screen took over. SO Not knowing where to go I hit the breaks. Two in the Hospital. More from the attorneys to follow..

I do not want to carpool. It won't work for me. The ONLY options that I have are to say that I do want to carpool now, or that I want to carpool later. I need to say 'no' and be done with it.
Not to mention, I have been en route and the ad for carpooling obscured my screen. I think that's dangerous. Please let me say 'no' and enjoy a safe ride. -

Coming up on two years of begging for CarPool Guy to NOT be taking up space on the main screen, let alone being a forced 'feature'. Maybe these don't get read but seriously, this isn't uber. This isn't lyft. You have a carpool oriented app already, put drivers onto that app instead. Waze already gets free crowd-sourced road reports from us all the time, start listening to the crowd on this one too and let people that opt out be opted out 100%.

NÃO SEI COMO FAZER PARA TIRAR ESSAS MENSAGENS DE CARONA. NÃO TENHO INTERESSE NEM EM DAR CARONA NEM PEDIR. QUERO QUE SAIAM DA MINHA TELA ESSAS NOTIFICAÇÕES

My Main issue with this is the requirement to interconnect your apps. I cannot agree to this without connecting WAZE to either Facebook or Google. I would be wiling to consider ride sharing, but only through this APP. I do not interconnect apps for security purposes. If the reminders persist, I may need to stop using this app.

People who drive a company vehicle for a living will NEVER carpool. Why is there no option to disable this distracting and unsafe 'slide screen?
It's one thing to set up a nav and then drive to where you need to go. Quite another to have to reach up and deal with a distraction, sometimes multiple times a trip. -

I would like the ability to hide the carpool button. I like the idea of carpooling, but when reporting or checking the app, I sometimes hit the carpool button. It is really distracting when the whole screen is taken up with that.
I’d like the option to disable carpooling like I can disable alerts or other features.
It is great, but I’d like the option to hide it when I don’t want to use it.

Who ever thought of this pop up must really love their mother.
Because every day there are thousands of Waze users thinking of your mother
when that pop up comes up. -

At least give us the option of removing the icon that takes up space. What does it have to be there if we are not using the feature? WTH google?

The carpool ad is dangerous. I have been in heavy tricky traffic and I glance down to see my next turn and there is the ad. I have to move the ad back over in heavy traffic. It's the last thing I need when I'm already on a stressful journey.

You aren't going to convince people just by asking them 10,000 times. I don't engage in hitchhiking and I'm not about to start inviting unknown strangers into my car or get into a car with them. Ever. I can't believe your company wants to take on the liability of what could happen (and yes, I do think your company would be accountable)! Stop risking people's safety and SHUT THIS THING OFF!.

Waze, I love your app. I really do. But TWICE yesterday during a very snowy drive with heavy traffic, your "how do you get to work?" page popped up over my map. I had to take my eyes off the road -- again, a road covered with snow and full of other drivers -- and swipe on the screen to get back to the map. Twice, I almost missed my exit because I couldn't see the map. This is an accident waiting to happen. If I'm not allowed to pull up a map in your app while I'm driving, why ON EARTH should I have to swipe away a pop-up? This is enraging. It was scary and dangerous and it shouldn't happen. It's inexcusable.

I understand the need to generate ad revenue, but most of your customers cannot or will not use carpooling. It is strictly an annoyance to most. Your refusal to make this a removable option frustrates your users and you will probably lose customers than you will gain because of this. Please listen to your users and provide an option to disable this "feature".

I drive to a different location each day and can't be involved in a carpool. How can I turn that feature off!
