Multiple vehicles
A quick way to toggle settings between two or more vehicles. When I drive my truck I use the expressways, I use alerts only, and diesel is preferred. When I ride my motorcycle I don't use expressways, I turn on navigation since my phone stays in my pocket, and premium gas is preferred. A way to save particular settings when toggling between private and motorcycle would be appreciated.

Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to have it included in our plans for later years and will keep you posted.
Thanks!

With a motorcycle, a pick-up both running with different gazoline, and an electric car, the single véhicule profile is not only useless, it becomes annoying.

Multiple vehicle profiles are critical, and detecting the vehicle by the bluetooth connection and choosing the right profile would be very useful too. If the difference between a gasoline and a diesel car is not that big to make such a feature critical, the popularity of electric cars definitely does.

car or motor bike, or bicycle, We change every day and should be able to tell Waze what we are driving to get the correct best path

Add a feature to waze to make multiple vehicle profiles that are used for routing and features depending on what car you drive that day (example you have EV and petrol car)
Examples: Fuel types (EV, Petrol, Diesel, LPG, Hydrogen etc)
License plate number (for regions that limit entry to a zone based on license plate numbers (uneven or even))
Vignettes per vehicle
Switching profiles automatically by BluetoothThis enables the user to use waze easy on multiple vehicles without changing all the settings every time

Useful settings for profiles would be: type of fuel; electric features enabling/disabling; voice settings.

It would be nice to be able to switch between several car profiles on one Waze account. For example you have a car and a truck with different toll permissions and heights/weights. Based on these information you get a route suitable for your current vehicle.

Please add the vehicle profiles feature, where some of the settings (vignettes, fuel type or other preferences) can be quickly switched by selecting the current vehicle
E.g. the RV vs bike vs family sedan vs sports car -

This button would be very helpful for drivers (riders) that frequently switch between vehicle types like private to motorcycle.

is it possible to set "vehicle profiles" on Waze?
e.g. Car A cannot be used on Mondays, Motorcycle A cannot be used on toll roads etc -

Make it possible to save multiple driver profiles in the app… I’d like to be able to save configurations for different vehicles. For example , I’d like to be able to activate a saved profile that will bring up the settings for one type of vehicle profile I use and if I switch to another vehicle I’d like then to be able to save a new profile and bring up these different profiles when I require.

Sometimes, I ride a two-wheeled vehicle (motorcycle) and want to avoid freeways. Other times I drive a 4-wheeled vehicle (car) and mostly take freeways. Would love to be able to group these settings into a profile so that I can switch between different use cases with only one (or two) presses.

Would be great to toggle between vehicles. I have a diesel people carrier and an electric run around while my wife has a petrol car. The various clean air restrictions vary between vehicles and the electric car avoids motorways as distance is more important than time and going at >50 depletes the battery very quickly.

Ajouter de nouvelles catégories de véhicules. Le choix actuel est pauvre.
Ou pouvoir sélectionner les dimensions de son véhicule et la vitesse maximale sur autoroute pour chaque utilisateur. -

It should be possible to link "Vehicle Profiles Quick Switch" to a connected bluetooth device, so that it changes automatically when you connect to the car's bluetooth

Sziasztok!
Gondolom többen használják a navigációt magán és munka célra egyaránt. Ehhez jó funkció lenne ha több autó profilt lehetne hozzáadni, mivel a személy autón lehez csak 1 megyei autópálya matrica van, a furgonon pedig több ország éves matricaja. -

I have two cars: one diesel. one electric
When I change from car I have to change all the permits.
It would be nice if it is possible to make profiles from more than one car so if I click on one I have directly all my prefences in Waze -

also, in map editor your drives are logged. having been assigned to a particular vehicle you can see the history for each vehicle and know on which day did you take which vehicle for specific drives.

È possibile creare profili diversi per auto e moto? Utilizzo uno scooter che non può andare in autostrada, sarebbe comodo poter impostare "evita autostrade" solo sul profilo moto per non dover cambiare le impostazioni ogni volta che cambio mezzo
Grazie!
Is it possible to create different profiles for cars and motorcycles? I use a scooter that cannot go on the motorway, it would be convenient to be able to set "avoid motorways" only on the bike profile so as not to have to change the settings every time I change vehicles
Thank you

I spoil myself and so I own and use multiple vehicles. I have a daily driver car, a pleasure car and a motorcycle. There are multiple settings I change for each vehicle and style of driving.
For daily commutes, I want routing on fastest routes including tolls, as well as only alerts to be announced by voice - otherwise I glance at the map for routing. My daily vehicle has a SpeedPass for automated tolls, so I want these routes considered. My daily driver does not paid with bluetooth very well, so I need the audio to come from the phone.
For pleasure driving, I prefer to avoid difficult intersections and toll roads because I don't have a SpeedPass. I don't need to get to where I'm going by the fastest route - scenic routes are better. My pleasure car pairs with bluetooth and so I prefer to have the audio from Waze to come over the speakers of the car.
For the motorcycle, I need to keep my hands on the handlebars and my eyes on the road much more than in a car - so I need my routing directions spoken, not just the alerts. I also want to avoid freeways, and definitely need to exclude tolls, because I do not have a SpeedPass, and to pay I toll, I would need to take off my gloves and dig around in my pockets for my wallet - and then put away the wallet and redo my gloves, which is very time consuming at a toll gate, so very inconvenient for me, other drivers, and the toll gate operator. I have an in-helmet bluetooth audio system, and so I need the alerts and directions to go to bluetooth, because I have no chance of hearing them from the phone speakers.
Currently, there is several different settings in different areas of the Waze configuration that I need to change when switching from one vehicle to another, and sometimes I switch from one vehicle to another multiple times in a single day, and it is irritating to have to go through those multiple steps - especially if I'm in a hurry and the previous vehicle's settings are just "wrong" for my immediate needs.
I've considered having different routing applications, Waze, Google Maps and others, one for each vehicle - but Waze is just such a great app by comparison to anything else I've tried that using something else feels like a downgrade.

5. Max speed.
Many users use different cars, motorbikes, mobile homes, vans with different optimal routings. E.g. with normal cars I always prefer motorways but with my mobile home I rarely drive over 100 km/h thus other routing options may be the best for each.
