Allow declaring Toll Roads and the option to not navigate through them
Waze wants to route me through a toll road every day and can't seem to find an alternate route until I actually drive it. I want to be able to avoid Toll roads, which means tolls roads need to be able to be declared in the editor.
Please, include more European Countries to the list!
Not sure if this is a new suggestion or an extension of this one. It's a little complex.
I have two main routes to drive to work. One is a toll road and public road network where I'd pay two tolls totalling $5.52, distance around 62.5km and freeway almost all the way. The toll free way is coincidentally shorter - 55.6km - but has a larger portion of stop/start traffic.
Most days, the toll free route is about 7 minutes slower. Most days that's the way I go, as I can't see the logic in paying tolls and for more fuel to gain such a small benefit. There's also times toll free is quicker!
My pie in the sky idea is a cost per minutes gained limit. For me, I'm prepared to pay these tolls for at least 10 minutes gain in journey time, or say 55 cents per minute.
It might give an "avoid tolls" option in Australia but whrn there's a traffic jam and it offers alternate routes it includes tolls without warning!
Waze routed me to a toll road even tho there was no traffic on the freeway I was on. I figured it would cost $5 but it ended up costing $20. Thx Waze! WHY would you make me spend $20 when there was NO traffic on the route I was on? Pls fix your program. If I had not read the sign to pay the toll on the web site, I would have gotten a huge fine.
With the recent addition of "Express" lanes in Texas, I'd like the option to avoid Express lanes but still allow toll roads. Waze routed me to an express lane with no traffic on the non-pay lanes.
Come on Waze, enable it for all countries.

This is live in many more countries, including USA.
Please enable this useful option for all countries, I just don't understand why waze always enable usefull options for few countries and forger about the rest!

Latvia?? There are no toll roads in Latvia, but drivers do have to pay to enter the resort city of Jurmala. Instead of Latvia please consider about adding Poland and Austria.
This should be a per-trip option, not a global option. Some trips the toll road is worth it, sometimes it's a waste of money.
As it was already said, it would be great to have an option 'Avoid toll roads if they are no faster than X min/ OR X percent of travelling time'

You could do this 1 of 2 ways
1 options always avoid toll roads yes or no
2 ask every time this route has toll roads avoid yes or no
somtimes the are 2 or 3 companies for toll road
add the ability to choose which toll road you want to go through and which you dot want
exp: in israel , road 6 -> i want , and fastlane -> no
Yeah i got a ticket from waze taking me on a toll road. really annoying
I live in New York City, and would love to be able to tell Waze to only give me toll road options if they are X minutes faster. For instance, I'll pay the $5 toll if it will save me 30 minutes, but to save just 5 minutes, I'd rather take the non-toll route.
OR, even better, I'd love to be able to manually mark and save my favorite routes between work and home, and have Waze compare those saved routes each time I am commuting so that I can see whether the toll option is worth it!

Apparently this is now working in Italy, Switzerland and Austria.
However, it would be great adding an option to declare the sticker/vignette validity (country scope and time period) and avoid toll roads based on that
When we click on routes for the address selected, indicating on the to with the word "toll" can help us to choose which route we want rather than choosing a route and clicking on turns and finding there are tolls and again going back to routes and so on. Thanks for an excellent waze
