waze for windows phone 10
Waze was originally build by an Israeli startup and I know you paid approximately $ 3 Billion to buy the App, before the App was bought the app had a great windows phone app updates, I understand windows phone is a small community of users as compared to your monopolized market share of so called ANDROID. however why are you so scared to release new versions on Windows phone platform? you already have beaten Microsoft and you win but show some courtesy to the waze fans who use windows phone OS and they also deserve an latest version. you don't support Active-sync, you don't support miracast on Chromecast for windows phone and IE, you don't care for google maps on windows phone. whats up with you? are you thinking that by capturing market share you are the GOD? this is fucking 21st century so have some corporate respect and create those apps for windows phone, don't give a bull shit reason of lower market share.
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Ditched my Windows Phone years ago because there was no app support. Been there, worn the t-shirt. Microsoft have even started to work with Android phones more so than their own platform now anyway.

Dude, windows phones are dead. They went the way of the dinosaurs and the dodo. If you’re still using one it’s time for you to move on. Software developer is ever going to release a new app for this phone, Microsoft is not even doing that.

As of June 2023, roughly 71% of cell phone OS's in use is Android followed by iOS at about 28%. Everything else is fighting over 1%.
There is no practical reason to develop for Windows Phone. It's the same reason why Linux doesn't have a lot of video game support. It takes time and effort to develop something and test it for something that ultimately is barely going to be used.

Creating applications is an integral part of modern business. They provide high performance, the best platform integration, and access to device-specific features. Native app development can be more expensive and time-consuming, but it helps create an optimal user experience for a specific platform https://www.codica.com/blog/native-vs-cross-platform-app-development/ . It's important to analyze requirements, budget, and expected user experience to make an informed decision about developing native or cross-platform business apps.

I just discovered Waze and I would love to use it but it isn't compatible with Windows 10. You guys suck for abandoning the Windows users.

Don't wanna support WP platform: Okay. Just please make the source code open, we, WP fans will keep it alive, and update it as needed. Community development can make wonder!

Don't update the WP Waze app, just let us work the old one again! Please! I'll never buy an Android, whatever you do to drop my WP. If my phone dies finally I'll buy an iPhone, 'cause your work and attitude at Google had already made me a real antigoogle user. This is the most unfair, sickening tech company I've ever know.

The issue is Waze has not support this app for a while, even while MS was still promoting/supporting Windows Phone. Why Waze did not just officially pull support a couple years ago, rather than keep the app in the Windows Store and fool people, is why this is clearly Waze being jerks about it by kowtowing to their overlords at Google.

Well, M$ itself announced windows phone project closure. No wonder no one wanna spend $$ on a dead platform. RIP.

Really classy, taking over three years to decline this request to show some respect to some of your longtime users. You should be ashamed.

factory reset my Lumia 950XL two weeks ago and the waze app has displayed a "no connection" error since then no matter the connection. I've also tried this on fresh installs with a Lumia 1520 and a Lumia 640XL. I'd like to at least know if service for the outdated yet functional (until now) app for Windows Mobile has been permanently broken/discontinued, or if this is a temporary issue.

My 950xl installation of Waze no longer works. I get an error message that there's no network connection (I've tried both with and without WiFi). Anyone else with this problem/solution?
