Boat trailer option
Please add an option for towing a trailer. I'll be towing a 23' boat from DC to ME in August. Generally this can only go on interstates and roads without height restrictions. I know from past drives that Waze will try to take us on the Merritt or Taconic parkways where trailers are not allowed and clearance is low

routes for caravans
Please create a category for those towing a caravan so that inappropriate routes are not offered.
I would rather travel further on a good road than be guided onto a narrow, winding, steep or unsafe surface when towing my caravan.
The risk of a collision with an oncoming vehicle travelling at high speed on a windy dirt road is very high when visibility is limited and there is no room to manoeuvre23 votes -
Feature Suggestion: Truck & Travel Trailer Routing Mode.
Hi Waze team! It would be incredibly helpful to add a dedicated routing option for trucks towing travel trailers. This feature could generate safe routes that account for:
- 🚫 Avoiding sharp or narrow right turns
- 🚧 Identifying height restrictions and bridge clearances
- 🛑 Bypassing roads with trailer or truck limitations
This would go a long way in improving safety and convenience for recreational drivers and towing vehicles. Thanks for considering!21 votes -
Option to Disable Auto-Rerouting After Route Is Set
Hello,
I’d like to suggest a feature that allows users to disable automatic rerouting after setting a route.
As a driver, it’s not always possible (or safe) to constantly check the device to notice when Waze changes the route and tap “No thanks” in time to stay on the original path.There are countries where you must follow a specific route due to legal or financial reasons — for example, vignette zones, road restrictions, or toll obligations. Add stops
Before, it was possible to add multiple stops on Waze, and this is important for me since I work with deliveries. However, after the latest updates, it's only possible to add a single stop. On top of that, instructions like "turn right," "turn left," and "roundabout" are no longer being spoken, which makes using Waze impractical and forces me to rely on Google Maps. Please bring back the feature to add multiple stops because, even on the slowest day, I have seven consecutive deliveries to complete. Feature to Avoid Specific Road
I really do love Waze! You guys are great! But can you PLEASE add an option to avoid specific roads (or steps of a route)? There’s a route that Waze directs me on my commute daily, both ways, that includes 2 roads that are extremely dangerous. I don’t mean difficult intersections or something like that. I mean regularly reported gun violence, car jackings at stop signs/lights, and gang activity. I literally had this map editing option back in the days of printing out mapquest directions… any kind of option would be wonderful! Thank you!

Avoid Country Roads
Please add an option to avoid country roads in the UK, and stick to motorways, A and B roads only. Country roads are very narrow and dangerous

hide street name
Good morning,
Would it be possible to create an option to hide the street name? At certain intersections, the purple sign hides the white arrow. Additionally, with Android Auto, the street name is already indicated. Sincerely. RR19 votes -
HOV only ramps and roads
When Wazers select an HOV route, because of the way HOV was implemented, any direct access ramp or otherwise HOV only road will never be suggested.
Waze needs to be able to suggest all HOV options, including HOV only flyovers and ramps.

Transferring routes from Google Maps to Waze

Route suggestion
Noticed Waze always gives a longer route to destination which is quite silly. I suggest Waze can roll out analysis suggestions on 1)the shortest possible route, 2) the quickest possible route & 3) Waze recommended route instead of the current 3 route suggestions that are very similar.

Introduce a Waze for trucks and caravans
Increasingly people are relying more and more on navigation. The app provides the quickest and most direct routes which is great for normal circumstances. However, trucks, Lorrie’s, large motor homes are not taken into consideration. I live near a golf course where a small road crosses the fairways and we are seeing more and more large vehicles on a road which is totally unsuitable for them and can often get stuck. There needs to be a version which keeps trucks and towing vehicles on appropriate roadways. There are ‘caravan related sat nav’s such as Co pilot and perhaps Waze can…

Plan waypoints on the Livemap
It would be very helpful to plan a route with several waypoints on the Livemap and once planned, send it to the phone App.

Avoid red light cameras
Hi, I would like to suggest that at the section where we choose to avoid unpaved roads, freeways, tols etc, you could include the choice to Avoid Red light Cameras or other permanent road cameras.

Block a turn only to myself.
A single segment makes my daily travel to work and son therapy only 1-2 minutes shorter, but through a neighborhood I avoid because it's full of turns and bad pavement. I wish I could make that single turn red on the WME but only for me so Waze can route me to any other route it sees better for me.
