  1. State what the alert is for

preferred version that stated the alert (object on road/car stopped on shoulder etc) so I don't have to look at the device to determine why it is alerting me. Also would like a way to touch screen to give thumbs up/confirm without having to look at device.

  2. Waze suggestion to make it better

Hi, I've been using Waze for a couple of years and I think it's a great app with great features but I'm having trouble with an old issue that needs to be addressed. I live in Romania and here we have a couple of weird intersections with multiple lanes and even overlapping lanes and on my 10" display it's hard to see which one to take to be on your way. Sometimes I need to manually zoom in and then reset to the original position. It would be great if in the near future Waze would do this automatically. Center…

  4. Waze is providing insane non-stop conflicting directions

It began on 95 NJ Turnpike weeks ago. Waze began to spout a succession of non existent turns etc. It is now happening on GSParkway and also now on local roads. It seems have only a hazy idea where I am but continually issues inappropriate turns etc.

  5. Suggestion: Add Visual Guidance for Flyovers and Exits

    Hi Waze Team,

I have a simple but very useful suggestion — please consider adding a clear visual indicator showing whether to take or skip a flyover/exit.

In busy city centers, where multiple exits and roads are close together, it can be confusing to know which ramp or flyover to take. Often, you might see an exit just before the correct one and take it by mistake, only to realize too late — which can easily add 20–30 minutes to a trip.

When driving in dense traffic, full concentration is on the road ahead, and reading the map in detail…

  6. I would like to have the facility to edit (e.g. add an extra, en route stop) a saved future drive!

I like to plan my journeys, and view alternative routes ahead of time, using Waze. At present it seems that, despite having “saved” a planned drive, the only way to edit your route, is to start all over again from scratch, incorporating your desired change(s) as you go through the process. For a substantial, multi-stop route, that 'is' 'a' 'pain'!

  7. Suggestion:

It would help me if Waze could tell me to turn at next stop sign or traffic light. Or if it would tell me to go past this traffic light and turn at the next one. It also is hard for me to determine how far to go before turning. Like 450 feet or 1000 feet. Or 1 tenth of a mile, 4 tenth of mile. I sometimes turn too soon or miss my turn. Any suggestions?

  8. Reducing Redundant User Click Confirmation Fatigue

The current Waze user experience is hindered by an excess of interruptive confirmation requests, which compromises both safety and efficiency, violating the principle of "what if it was simple."

    Core Issues:

Navigation Initiation: Upon selecting a destination, Waze requires multiple unnecessary confirmations (e.g., "Are you really navigating there?", route selection) instead of immediately starting guidance. This adds friction to the primary task and is unsafe to manage while driving.

Unnecessary Resume Prompts: When restarting the app, Waze redundantly asks, "Are you still driving to X?" The app should automatically resume navigation if the user is actively moving and remains within…

  10. Use vector engine

I am writing to share a suggestion that I believe could significantly improve the driving experience in Waze navigation.

Currently, roundabouts in Waze are displayed as segmented roads rather than smooth, circular vectors. This design works functionally, but it can make navigation less intuitive, especially in complex roundabouts with many exits. Sometimes, the segmented view even increases the risk of missing the correct exit because the visual flow is not entirely clear.

By contrast, TomTom GO Navigation adopts a fully vector-based rendering of roundabouts. This makes the roundabout appear as a continuous, smooth circle, and when approaching it, the app…

  11. Peter Russell

Im requesting the address be displayed at the top of the navigation app until the user has completed the stop. Currently you cannot see the address your trying to locate “on screen” only if you remember the address in your head or if you go over the your “recent address “ listings. Sometime its hard to see the numbers on the houses so this feature would really help me locate addresses rather then slow me down and also risk myself of getting in an accident since I’m staring at the app to remember what address I’m looking for. Thank you

  12. Half-way points or ETA to points on map

After a trip of several days where I knew I couldn’t make my destination before I needed to stop, I would like to se a feature where, given current conditions, Waze would show the halfway point, or possible future location based on driving time.

Let’s say my trip is 560 miles and 9 hours….if I drove 6 hours (I enter the time) where would I be? Where is the half way point? Or, if a select a point on the route map, how far and how long is the travel time.

    Just more information.

Love my Waze…I always tell my…

  13. have a date and time for last person update. This would help with fuel prices being accurate

Hi. The last person update on the Waze app should have a date and time or when it was last updated. Sometimes I feel the cash station workers manipulating the app to show cheaper prices only to turn up and it’s never ever. The case. I’ve witnesses certain branches do this and I go by the gas station everyday and always update it and alway seeems to be the same person. Made a report on google on the very station and had thousand of comments saying something similar. So instea of simply having the the name of the last person…

  14. Ability to add a stop / travel to destination via another place

It would be good to have the ability to travel to a destination via another place e.g. travel to point C from point A, via point B. This would be handy if you’re maybe picking someone up and need to work out what time to leave so as to reach your final destination by a certain time. Google maps has this function.

  15. Indicate Pet Friendly (Or Not Friendly) Areas or Gas Stations

Today, I stopped at a gas station called Snappy Foods in Townsend, GA off of I-95 (on GA-57) to get gas and allow my dogs to relieve themselves. After pumping and paying for gas, I attempted to walk my dogs in the only grass area away from the road between the convenience store and the Motel 8 when the gas station employee came out and told me I could not walk my dogs there, I had to take them by the busy roadway and when I refused for safety reasons, I was told "if you don't like it, you can…

  16. Automatic rerouting improvement

When creating a route on a highway with both "cars only" part and "trucks and buses" part Waze often leads me on the "trucks and buses" part of the highway for no reason (even though it's clearly stated in the settings that I drive a private car, not a truck or a bus). For example on I-95 highway in the north-eastern US.
Now when I'm aware of this problem I ignore Waze's directions and take the "cars only" part of the highway. It's faster in 99% of the cases.
However, for the next 30 miles (or even more) Waze suggests…

  17. Avoid a specific road or place as a one-off when planning a route

I know we've had posts from people wanting to a avoid a particular road they never want to use in the past but what about a one off option to avoid one during the planning phase?

I needed to navigate at the weekend and had been informed a few hours before of a road closure on the most ideal route, Waze didn't know about this and obviously I can't report it until I'm there, so I wanted to avoid a particular location and have Waze route me around it.

I was sure there was an "avoiding" option during the planning…

  18. Body mass index and cardiorespiratory fitness in MSers: Yes, it matters

    Sebastião E, Motl RW.

    Abstract

    OBJECTIVE:

This study examined body fatness and its association with cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) in persons with multiple sclerosis (pwMS) accounting for disability status.

    MATERIALS AND METHODS:

This study involved a secondary data analysis from a previous study of 62 pwMS. Body fatness was indirect measured as body mass index (BMI), and CRF was measured as peak oxygen consumption from an incremental exercise test with spirometry. Participants were allocated into 3 different groups based on established BMI categories (ie, normal, overweight, and obese), and data were analyzed using SPSS.

    RESULTS:

The average BMI was 27.0 (6.7)…

  19. You need to make it possible to route to intersections by naming each cross street and the city

I wasted an entire day and drove 9 hours to nowhere because waze showed an address in Daily City Ca as if it was in San Francisco. I stopped for gas when I pulled up waze and typed in the address. It showed up along with many entirely inappropriate ones from other states etc. I did not realize that I would have had to scroll down past all of the useless ones to find the address that I needed. The first address looked right and I was in a bad spot to be playing with my phone plus I needed…

  20. Intersection enlargement display

In Malaysia, there are many intersections where it is easy to go the wrong way, and the navigation cannot accurately indicate which way to drive. I would like to have a navigation that can highlight and zoom in 200 meters in advance and show which road is the correct one to take when there are multiple road intersections. Thanks!
