Stop talking as soon as I press Stop
If I press Stop to stop the navigation while Waze is providing driving directions, stop talking immediately. Don’t finish the current driving direction. I pressed Stop, which means I don’t want to hear it any more.

Timeline with Travel History
Here recently, i needed to see my travel history for my job. It took me a fairly long time to see my route for that day but there was no timeline to connect the whole day together. I am suggesting to make this easily accessible by adding a Travel History tab on our accounts menu. This tab will give you a peek in the past travels and also help you tweak your upcoming travel plans to choose better routes. Give way and stop sign warnings
Like how rail way crossings and it now warns you about when the speed limit reduces, have this for give way and stop signs. Especially on the back roads some signage isn’t the greatest and even when it is nice to have a warning of a give way sign when your doing 60mph

Type of hazard
Better options for reporting a hazard, particularly a hazard that is in live lane of carriageway. One example that stands out would be to report a car that has stopped in the live carriageway. Currently, I can only report a vehicle on shoulder.
Example: 'Report - Hazard - Vehicle Stopped in Carriageway'.
This is a very important reporting option.
Example 2: 'Report - Hazard - Wildlife in Carriageway'.
Basically, more hazard reporting options would be useful.5 votes -
Waze "Local Knowledge" feature
Waze should have a feature called "Local Knowledge". Since most routes start at the same place, home, the user wouldn't need to know/HEAR all the individual turns to get out of their own neighborhood every time. The user should be able to set up a radius around a point where they have familiarity of different increments say, 1mile, 2miles, 5 miles, where only the visual route is shown on the screen and the audio is MUTED. Allow us to leave navigation instructions on but turn of voice alerts. I’m sick of having to hear about every car stopped on the side of the

customise sound
The current overspeed alert is too short. It needs to be multiple beeps like my Garmin. It would be great to have all alerts and sounds fully customisable.

Stop navigating to where you suggested instead of the address I'm explicitly choosing
This drives me crazy: That little countdown timer around the suggested destination keeps counting down even as I go and search or choose a favorite or planned drive or whatever. Often, even after I make my choice, the timer finishes and supersedes my choice. Sometimes it takes a while for me to notice that Waze is sending me to the wrong place!

Waze has the framework to potentially help avoid chain reaction vehicle accidents
I have been studying chain reaction vehicle accidents for years and I belive that Waze may have most of the architecture already in place to alert drivers not yet at the accident scene to slow or stop, which would minimize or eliminate the wreckage, injuries and deaths that occur when low-visability causes vehicles to continue running into a crash site, creating a chain reaction accident. My request is to communicate with one of your engineers to discuss the concept.

It would be awesome if waze could call for local help when a car is stopped on the side of the road for a confirmed significant length of time, say 30 minutes?

Je souhaiterais qu Waze tout comme le fait PLAN indique sur le trajet les feux de circulation, les insignes de STOP et si notre destination se trouve à droite ou à gauche. C’est extrêmement pratique .

Vehicle on Median
Add option to report 'vehicle stopped on median' as its the center of the road and the shoulder refers to the outside of the roadway area.

User rating on intersection after you reach destination
Please give us the ability to rate our ability to turn at any or all intersections when we reach our destination if we choose to.
Example: "Please rate your ease of turning (left or right) at any or all intersections in your route."
Waze always tells me to try a left turn at rush hour in a particular area that would take ten minutes sitting at the stop sign waiting for traffic to thin enough to make it accross assuming the other side is ALSO clear...

Need an update for overheating phone!!
When using Waze on CarPlay it causes my phone to heat up quickly and end up stop charging and kills my battery ( 40% in an hour) by running Waze on CarPlay. This needs addressed. It started happening after the iOS 16 update and doesn’t do it with any other navigation app or any other app period.
Please fix this. Oh and add stop signs yield signs and traffic lights to the app as well.

Adding a stop after update...where did my dual ETA go?
I use the "add a stop" feature a lot during my travels. Since the latest update, I can no longer see the ETA for my final destination after the stop. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Anyone else noticing this?

More options for issue
Having more choices for one the side of the road. Like being able to choose object, not just Stopped car or roadkill. There could be an object

Ask users if they are stopping for gas
When unexpectedly exiting the highway, ask users if they are stopping for gas. This would eliminate annoying and distracting rerouting, and direct users to the nearest gas station. 99% of the time, I got off the highway for a reason and don’t immediately want to be directed back on.
