1. Información en pantalla ante accidentes

   Cuando se presione el auto en la pantalla, se despliegue un cuadro de información con:

   1) calle/numero/localidad.
   2) comisaria (estación de policía) mas cercana (con la posibilidad de
   seleccionarlo como destino).
   3) hospital mas cercano (con la posibilidad de seleccionarlo como
   destino).

   Eso seria muy útil en caso de accidente y es similar a lo que hace el software de Garmin.

2. Improved Screen Layout on Larger Screens

   Dear Waze,

   First, let me complement you on a great product. I use it almost daily.
   More importantly, you got a more meaningful compliment from Google on your great job.

   As a user of your product, please allow me some user feedback which I would hope you may implement in your product.

   Until now, I used Waze on different mobile phones.
   Recently I purchased a new car with a 7'' screen.
   After having used it, please allow me some customer feedback and suggestions for implementation relating to the way you display information on larger screens.

   Seems to me that you do not make and use of the heavy increased real estate (size of screen) you have at your disposal in most in-car display systems with 7-9'' screens.
   At the top of the screen is a black bar which is utilized by the car manufacturer for different displays such as WiFi icons etc. and the time.
   This space is not available for Waze. No worries.

   However, the remaining space is not well used at all.
   Below the black car bar not utilizable by Waze you put another black bar with your direction arrow (<-), distance (120m) and road name (461 מערב).
   But most of the black bar is unused and just wastes the heights of your map display.
   But worse than that, the size of your icons is exactly the same small size as on much smaller mobile phone displays, thus making it difficult to read the information at a glimpse (while driving).
   See Figure 1.

   I therefore suggest a different organization of the screen as shown in Figure 2.
   The main screen should be divided approximately 1/3, 2/3.
   The right part with the 2/3 display should be with your Moving Map and the centered arrow showing the present location.
   Please note that in the present layout, the map display is wider. However since anyway the present location is always centered on the display, there is no benefit in the a little wider map display.
   The left part with the 1/3 display should be the re-arranged Info Window.
   The bottom bar with the Time to arrival (32min), EAT – Estimated Arrival Time (18:04), Distance to destination (14km) should remain as is.

   Please refer to Figure 3.
   The Info Window should include (from top to bottom, left to right):
   Significantly increased size indicator of upcoming turn (Left/Right Arrow) etc.
   Significantly increased size Street Name and Street Number.
   Indicator of upcoming turn (to allow selection of appropriate lane after the immediately upcoming turn). [NEW]
   Soft button () to select the Overview on the Map, displaying the complete trip from start to destination with present location (˄). [NEW]
   Speed indicator (as in your regular display).

   Following (Figure 4) please find a very rough sketch of the suggested Display (based on your actual screen).

4. they should say what issue was fixed when they report it as fixed and...

   Obviously I don't have an open issue if the issue was fix. I think in the future they should say what issue was fix when they report it as fixed.
   Also I belive there needs to be an out box so we can go look at the issue we sent incase they have not been fixed in a long time.
   I don't remember what issue I sent in about.
   So next time you said a message about an issue that was reported please include what the issue was about.
   Clearly you know what issue I have reported because you clearly came back to me quoting what I had sent. So you knew it came from me.
   I hope you understand and will respond soon.

   I'd like to request that you program the announcer so that they'll start talking only after you've set up the route. For me it's annoying to hear announcements about setting off on a trip which is not yet ready!

7. alerte de survitesse sonore permanente

   L'alerte de survitesse sonore est actuellement fait que par un petit beep sonore et uniquement dans les zones dangereuses.
   J'aimerais avoir une alerte de survitesse sonore permanente par un beep-beep quand je dépasse la vitesse autorisée.
   avec des options:
   1) Tout le temps ou que dans les zones dangereuses.

   2) avoir le choix du son beep-beep et avec son intensité.

   3) l'arrêter momentanément en tapotant sur l'indicateur de vitesse rond.

8. Bring back "See yourself on the map" option

   I actually really miss the "see yourself on the map" option. I used it as a profile card and a way to show my friends my status and my cute Waze avatar. Now, I've finally got the crown and I have no way to show it off. Maybe there could be a status badge or something with our profile picture, the waze avatar, and some stats. Or you could just bring back what you already had. Thanks!

9. Show direction that other wazers are travelling on the navigation map

   When viewing the navigation map, what if you showed a little arrow indicating the direction that the other wazers on the map are traveling? I can't tell if the wazer ahead of me is traveling the same direction as me and I am just catching up to them or they are on the other side of the road driving towards me. You could put a little black direction arrow in their icon.

10. When I connect my phone to Android Auto, do not force me to display Waze on my car's infotainment screen

    Version 4.93.5.11 for Android forces me to display Waze on my car's infotainment screen. When I connect my phone to my car, I prefer to display Google Maps on the infotainment screen (via Android Auto) and display Waze on my phone's screen. That way, Waze provides me to with look-ahead traffic alerts, but Google Maps is available for navigation, adding side trips, etc.

    However, with this latest version of Waze, once I connect my phone, Waze displays on the phone's screen a message directing me to my car's infotainment screen and Android Auto.

    I can still run Google Maps on the phone, and display Waze on the infotainment center. But that's not what I prefer to do and I have a few reasons beyond the scope of what I'm reporting here.

    Don't force users to display Waze on the car's infotainment screen, when connected to an Android Auto equipped phone. Allow us to continue to display Waze on the connected phone's screen.

13. My business appears 3 times with 3 different addresses

    My business: Lucy García Gallery, appears 3 times with 3 different addresses: Av. Roberto Pastoriza, Av. Federico Geraldino and Plaza Mezzaluna. Only one of those is correct. How do we go about eliminating the other 2 so people looking to visit me don't get lost?

14. making sure Waze know what driver you are

    the past few months I've been getting tickets because i was driving in a bus lane. i never knew how i would end up in this situation. until i called up to pay a 500NIS ticket and the lady suggested i check my Waze setting to see what my car is registered under. unfortunately when i check it was registered as a taxi. i now know why i got all those tickets. i don't even remember it asking if i was a taxi, i have never been a taxi driver. all im asking from Waze ks to make a reminder when starting a new route to make sure the average driver isn't getting tickets like i was

15. Different preferences while navigating

    There are several settings that I want to change according to whether or not I am navigating to a destination. Please give up options like "on when navigating, off when not navigating" in addition to the existing "on"/"off" options.

    For example, I should be able to make the following settings:

    North Up when not navigating; actual or desired travel direction up when
    navigating;

    2D view when not navigating; 3D view when navigating;

    Auto zoom off when not navigation; Auto zoom by distance when navigating.

    Problem: When using Waze through Android Auto, roundabouts show incorrect navigation symbols in the car’s HUD and media widget. This does not happen in Google Maps.
    
    The main screen shows correct instructions, but the HUD and widget display incorrect icons — often showing wrong turn direction or exit.
    
    Please verify if the Android Auto metadata (like NavigationTemplate or TripInfo) is being sent correctly by Waze for HUD integration.

17. Reports/all/On-Route - deleting incidents behind you

    "Reports/All/On-Route" shows everything on the route, even those which are now behind you and thus of no interest. These should be removed as you pass them so that you only see what is ahead. At the moment it is too confusing - I shouldn't be looking at the screen to see which reports (if any) are relevant. I can ask it to calculate a new route from where I am and that works (as all reports "on-route" are now ahead of me), but dangerous to do on the move.

18. Show all "Unpaved" roads as brown, like "Off-road / Not maintained"

    Waze should show all roads with the "Unpaved" attribute as brown, the same way the "Off-road / Not maintained" are shown.

    It should not matter what the type of road is. If it is unpaved, it should be shown to the user.

    This is especially a problem on private unpaved roads, where you cant even just go in to the WME and change the road type to "Off-road / Not maintained", as that would mess with the routing. Knowing the state of the road you are about to drive down should be an important thing, and is why people even use waze in the first place.

19. Bug: Chosen route changes to shortest route after stopping without warning

    I've discovered that if I choose one of the alternate routes (if it is longer), and start navigating that route, if I go off the route and stop, say, for lunch, when I return to Waze it has rerouted to the default shortest route rather than the original alternate I had chosen. In one case I was unaware of this at first and it started taking me in the opposite direction in order to connect to what was (originally) the shortest route, but due to my current location was now a much longer route.

    That or the "shortest route" default should always adjust itself based on the current location, rather than the location when navigation first began.
