Do AWAY with cartoonish “rewards”
Do AWAY with the cartoonish rewards! This is a useful app and not a ridiculous game. Going 75mph down the highway and I “verify” a car on the side of the road and as soon as I do I come over a small rise and there’s a car in the left shoulder partially in the fast lane and the ridiculous cartoon rewards are still flashing so I can’t press the notification button to alert other drivers!! It’s either a game or a useful app, stop trying to make it both!!

When showing "Routes" options, show "average speed" per option.
When showing "Routes" options, in addition to "time" and "distance", show "average speed" per option. A user may want to choose an option whereby he/she is moving at a greater average speed, even if it means extending the duration of the trip, especially if the added duration is insignificant. For example, a user may prefer to travel 60 km in 1 hour than 40 km in 55 minutes because instead of siting in traffic the user is moving at a greater speed.

Schedule - Calendar
a good function is that waze is programmed with the phone's calendar that is synchronized with Gmail account so send alerts according to the state of traffic to achieve compliance with arrival times for example if I have an appointment at 3 : 00 pm that waze alert me 10 minutes apart what time I go to achieve compliance with the time, another example, if income from work at 8:00 am and I have programmed in the list of fixtures the application sends an alert to inform what time I need to leave my house to be on time.

Speed / red light camera alerts announced too early on local steeets
Speed / red light camera alerts are announced too early on local steeets currently.
Most of the time, the alert is announced over 750m away. And on local streets, it is very likely that there there would be multiple other intersections before reaching it. So by the time the actual camera location is reached, the alert is already forgotten.
Please make it so that the camera alerts are announced closer to the actual camera while on city streets (around 200 - 250m). Or add a second alert when "approaching speed / red light camera", in addition to the…1 vote -
Route Alerts
The shortened route alert should have user specified times. I do not care about saving 3 minutes on a 6 hour drive. There should also be a limited number of times Waze asks for this route. My last trip I ended up just letting Waze reroute me onto a toll road costing money because it wouldn't shut up about the 10 minutes I would save on my 3 hour trip.

The Green line - (Energy/ Gasoline)
The green line- When a Wazer checks optional routes (and also in the preferences/initial destination route) the most energy efficient route shall be marked as the "Green Line".The Wazer should provide Waze with its car model, design, and year so Waze could calculate the energy consumption.There is a difference between the routes because of distance, time, type of ride etc.At the end of the ride the Wazer will be provided with estimated carbon footprint.From Waze perspective - much more data... and from there you can think about many products and ways to monetize it

Report dangerous traffic light / intersection
You used to have the option to report a missing traffic sign or a dangerous traffic light or intersection. Anyway this option has gone missing from the hazard report.
Please bring it back! There are lots of roads (especially in Israel) where the traffic light is almost unnoticeable and it it super dangerous!!!
I had an accident today because of that :(
If the waze voice warns before entering a known dangerous intersection then automatically the driver is more couscous and alert and less speedy.
Please add an option to report it.

Vibration-only alerts for passengers
It would be nice to have vibration-only alerts for directions, to be used by a passenger. I am often in the passenger seat and reading out the turns to the driver, but sometimes I get distracted and miss the turn. The sounds are distracting, but it would be helpful if the app would just buzz the phone shortly before the turns.

I would like to propose adding a feature that allows users to set and manage vehicle information, along with receiving notifications for the following:
1. Car Insurance Expiration: Reminders when the insurance is about to expire, so users can renew it on time. 2. Vehicle Inspection Validity: Notifications before the scheduled inspection date, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. 3. Improve road detection while navigating
When navigating along roads that have service/access roads, the navigation will want to enter the freeway/highway/tollway/etc. If the driver stays on the access road or exits onto the access road, Waze does not detect that and keeps the location locked to the planned route. If Waze wants to route you onto a freeway/highway/tollway/etc. and you do not take the on-ramp, the app locks onto the planned route and thinks you are on the highway.

show nearest petrol station prices as alerts
The way that you alert could be used to provide proximity alerts that show the nearest fuel/petrol station and the prices. This could be an option that is configured for those that want the alert (on) and those that do not want it shown (off).

A "No good routes found" alert.
Let's you know your drive will be worse than expected, maybe suggest a better time to leave and delay the drive.
For those circumstances when traffic along usual route is much heavier than normal, (for whatever reason). If I know all routes are congested, I may relax and stop trying to out-think Waze and find a better route. Or delay my departure if traffic is forecasted to clear up.

Disable Police Alert during government lockdowns
During lockdown periods imposed by the government to control the spread of Covid-19, law enforcement agencies are hard at work manning road blocks to advise all road users to stay home.
The option to SHARE the location of police presence/road blocks during this period makes things harder for the authorities to manage potential Covid-19 carriers as they will find alternative routes to bypass those blocks.
I hope Waze can consider to temporarily disable police location reporting at least during lockdown periods of each respective country. We all need to do our part in curbing this virus.

Add posibility to choose Police Alert with Handheld Camera.
Hello Waze Team greetings, please add posibility to add an additional feature to notify wazers when there is a police with handheld lazer camera. For example, when the wazer select the icon with police handheld camera it notify the user some km beforehand as follows:
Alllert ! Police with lazer camera ahead in X kilometres !

Add option to alert to "Opposite Side" police reports
In most areas, even police with bumper-mounted radar heads can measure speed in different directions and differentiate between targets, and many departments (most, these days) equip front and rear emittors which work simultaneously. Unless this feature is exclusively to be used for situations where the threat is on the other side of a concrete barrier where there is no nearby onramp or turnaround, it makes no sense not to at least have the option to enable such alerts.

user provided layout themes
There are various requests for features of what Waze should/should not display on screen. It would be great if users could instead of just choosing a style, actually choose a (or create) a layout that another user has selected.
Best option would be to provide the ablity to give shapes, and areas that can contain text. Eg.
- Current speed (can then increase/decrease the speed display)
- Average wazer speed on the current segment (so the potential speed limits could be shown)
- Current road name
- Text/images for popups
- Destination ETA
- Destination time
- Destination name

Improved Alert System for Fixed Cameras at Junctions in Waze
I would like to suggest an enhancement to the way Waze handles alerts for fixed cameras at junctions. Currently, Waze only provides voice alerts for the direction in which the camera is set up, even though the camera captures images from every direction at the junction.
For better safety and user awareness, it would be highly beneficial if Waze could provide voice alerts for all directions when a fixed camera is present at a junction. This would ensure that drivers are fully informed of the camera’s location, regardless of the direction they are traveling.
