Change 'Return' key to add line break, not 'Enter' when editing Places info
When editing Place info in the app (any version), currently Android does 'Enter' with the Return key,
I need to be able to add line breaks in the 'Details - About' box for data clarity, e.g. daily sub-department hours that are different from the main ones already listed.
Would be most helpful to to change the Return key response to instead add line breaks for just that box or even other sections. The Done key already takes care of accepting the edit. This behavior already applies to the WME.

Support for dimensions and combinations such as caravans
I propose that Waze allows users to save multiple vehicles, each with their own dimensions, including height, width, and length. It should also be possible to add vehicle combinations, such as a car with a caravan or trailer, where the additional dimensions are automatically taken into account during route planning.
Users could then manually select the appropriate vehicle or combination before starting a trip, or Waze could automatically detect the vehicle via CarPlay or Android Auto.
It is essential that Waze takes infrastructure limitations into account—such as bridge heights, narrow roads, sharp turns, and low tunnels—so that any routes that…

Show saved locations standerd with recent searches
With an recent update, Waze opens on Android Car with recent searches. Not shown are pre-saved locations like 'work' or 'home'. So now I need to close the recent searches, click on pre-saved locations and click the destination. Previously i could directly click on the saved location. The new update cost more clicks and is slower accessible.

Waze sleeping mode shortcut for ios shortcuts
Could you please add settings in the waze to stop using GPS on the background or ios shortcut for sleeping mode?
I am using apple shortcut to start waze when I connect my phone to the bluetooth headset in my car. I am using navigation everytime I enter my car and looking for any way how to close waze, or stop location services - sleeping mode or any other solution to stop draining my battery. PLEASE add Estimated Time of Arrival via SMS on mobile phone and on Apple Carplay and Android Auto without the use of a phone.
Please add ETA via SMS alerting the person that I am running late or increased traffic ahead and a SMS to be sent automatically through my phone to notify that I am running late.
Sometimes notification through the app its not that reliable as most of my friends does not have Waze installed nor they did not notice a notification but noticed more when a notification is sent through SMS.
When this feature is added please give us an option to choose between sent ETA via APP or if detected without a waze app it automatically sent notification through SMS.…

Cámaras de foto multas
Cordial saludo, en mi app de Android no me da la opción de avisar donde están las cámaras de foto multa momentáneas o fijas, así evitar estas cámaras para no ser multados y ser más precavidos en las vías.

Add feature to map that is like Google Maps
I would give this app 5 stars if the Waze app developers could put the name of the road you're traveling on behind the arrow in a bubble like Google Maps. Google Maps has this not only while navigating but while just traveling using the Map on Android Auto without navigating as well. I mentioned this before. Not sure why Waze hasn't implemented this yet. I would use this App more. Other people probably feel the same way.

Faster nightmode detection
I have an Android car stereo with Waze.
When I turn on ignition, Android boots up and Waze starts.It seems that Waze needs GPS as well as network access to detect night mode. As after bootup, GPS and network needs a while (1 or 2 minutes), Waze starts in day mode even in the night.
Please, do not addict night mode detection to GPS and network, and look at the local clock. Possibly use last known position and the current time.
With Waze's full brightness of day mode it dazzles - driving so is really dangerous.

Be able to interface from your phone like Apple iPhone
I really like your app and use it every day. My frustration is that I use a Samsung Android smart phone (I am not a fan of Apple iPhone's). Apple play works very well with your app. You can control your app from the phone or the car interface (basically the car mirrors the phone). With Android play you can't control the app or view the app from your phone. All interfaces have to be on the car not the phone. Secondly if you use the app now on the car navigation screen (as I said) you can only control…

No android auto deveria ter opção de inserir o destino por voz (pesquisa de endereço por voz). Ter que digitar na tela da multimídia é terrível. Outra sugestão é deixar já como padrão a opção de digitar no telefone.

Cercle indiquant taux de diabète
Serait-il possible de créer un cercle indiquant le taux de diabète provenant de son capteur relié en bluetooth à son téléphone, ceci afin d'éviter de scanner son taux avec le téléphone sachant que c'est interdit en France de tenir le tél à la main en roulant. Lors des grands trajets, cela permettrait de se surveiller et d'éviter une hypoglycémie source d'accident éventuel.

Need better support.
I have tried the boards and blogs but there is so much info I cannot find the help I need. New Phone,, tried to log in Android..does not recognize password...reset....same problem....dlete..reinstall...same problem.been on waze for years and now about to lose everything..If I don't get help soon will delete completely and not recommend at all.

Test software before you push out an update
I don't know where to post this but the latest update on my Android phone is terrible. Waze app crashes constantly.

Route guidance Audio
Fantastic app. Well done and thank you.
In a future release, would it be possible to
Optionally have the route guidance to the drivers side of the vehicle only so as not to disturb sleeping children / passengers?
Optionally have the route guidance sent to bluetooth earbuds, not the car audio so that only the driver hears it.

allow users to input address from phone when connected to android auto like Google Maps
this is a feature that is available with Google maps but not with Waze. its convenient to hand my phone to my spouse to update and input the address from the phone. we do use the "voice" feature but it is really hit or miss and it's just easier to update address thru the phone instead of the headunit

Kérem, hogy iOS alatt is lehessen beállítani ugyanúgy, mint az Androidos verzió alatt meglévő “Waze előtérben marad” funkciót! Android alatt futó waze-ben “Általános beállítások/Waze előtérben marad” gombbal lehet ezt beállítani, hogy mindig lásd, hívás közben is. Ez iOS 12.4 alatt futó 4.52.5 verziójú wazeben nem áll rendelkezésre sajnos.
