WAZE on DPD Saturn
Hi, I work for DPD and they have an app called Saturn where we have Google Maps to help over 40,000 driver BUT it’s not good enough. We want WAZE on it, Android phones have it but iPhones don’t. The vast majority of drivers have iPhones.
How can we get this done please?

Don't automatically start giving directions
I say where to go, then look at rout and options. But before I can decide the app automatically starts yelling directions loudly (in restaurant it's embarrassing). Google Maps waits untill I press the Start button. Maybe that can be an option setting, I HATE your presumption and being forced!

Roll back to last usable version (fixing voice command and display issues)
The recent update added the gimmicky split-screen feature at the expense of everything that made the app usable. Until you can fix the following, please roll back to the last non-coolwalk version:
• Google Assistant voice commands do not work
• Speed limit is too small to see
• "Time Remaining in drive" is missingI would also like you to rethink the decision of replacing all the icons with ugly little black pills, but that isn't really a technical problem in need of a fix.

Fix the phone overheating issue
Let me explain the background on this. I've been happily using Waze with AA in my car for several years. All of a sudden, mid Feb 2024, my phone is overheating, sometimes before I even leave my driveway! I added a utility to my phone to troubleshoot and what I discovered is atrocious. This started right around Feb 19th. Whenever I have Waze running in the car, Google Maps is also running in background. Waze on Android head unit: Send ETA by SMS or instant message via connected phone
I have an Android-based head unit. It gets an internet connection from mobile data via Wifi tethering to my phone. It is also paired to my phone via bluetooth.
I'd like to send my ETA on an SMS text to a phone contact on my connected phone, as opposed to email through the tethere internet connection.
It would be good to see integration with other messaging & social media services, i.e. Whatsapp, Google Hangouts and Facebook.Messenger, for the purposes to sending ETA, or linking a tracking beacon.

Only Google map is working, and not as great yet as Waze for EV except EV recharge calculations and suggestion.
This is really annoying, from security perspective, wish to switch radio, on tablet, map disappear on cwnterwheel display.
Constantly have to get back to tablet radio, change station, back to CarPlay, Waze, reset center wheel console to display Google map.
Worst if you select Google map, it disable automatically Waze on tablet and cancel trip.
Make it work or keep independent.

Améliorer l’interface CarPlay
J’aimerais pouvoir choisir le côté où le compteur s’affiche ainsi que la taille de cet affichage.
J’aimerais aussi pouvoir choisir le côté où le bouton de signalement se trouve.
Actuellement ces 2 paramètres sont à droite sur l’affichage CarPlay et donc c’est loin il faut tendre le bras alors que si c’était à gauche ce serait beaucoup plus visible et plus rapide à signaler.
Il manque aussi les bornes de recharge Electra.

Bonjour, que ce soit dans les zones denses ou moins denses, pouvoir se diriger efficacement vers une place à mobilité réduite (temporaire ou permanente) serait un vrai plus pour les personnes concernées ou aidantes. On peut supposer que les algorithmes peuvent repérer automatiquement les panneaux de ces places via les captures street view, pour les intégrer en base de données carto.

Bonjour Waze,
Utilisateur depuis vos débuts en France, je vous félicite — j’utilise Waze tous les jours dans mon activité d’artisan. Suggestion : ajoutez un profil « utilitaire » (hauteur, longueur, poids) et la possibilité de basculer entre plusieurs véhicules. Aujourd’hui, Waze ne distingue que Privé / Taxi / Moto et ne prend pas en compte les restrictions de gabarit. Il y a peu, je me suis retrouvé face à un tunnel limité à 2 m alors que mon véhicule fait 2,40 m : obligé de faire demi-tour, ce qui a considérablement rallongé mon trajet. Langue de notification de message
Bonjour wazer
Un grand coup de gueule sur la langue que vous utilisez pour donner les informations sur l’info trafic en temps réel je suis en France et tout est donné en anglais je ne pratique pas ou très peu cette langue et n’ai pas le temps s’ouvrir un traducteur en conduisant pour comprendre vos messages
Au vu de cette façon de procéder je ne peux que déplorer votre mondialisation , en effet au lieu de gagner du temps je me suis trouvé dans s des bouchons interminables et donc plus de pollutionWaze n’ouvre pas pour la planète

TTS instruction momentarily silenced when making a voice comment
I suggest implementing the capability to automatically, and momentarily, silence TTS instruction, once a click is done on microphone icon to make a voice comment.
I found myself adding a voice comment to a map issue (or even to a map problem … although not so often) to allow for a clearer resolution of it latter on and one thing that is very annoying is when I’m dictating whatever I want to put on the comment and a voice instruction (TTS) overlaps my voice comment, resulting in a written comment with a mix of my own voice comment plus voice…

Speed signs on WME
a) I usually place comments (in the form of points) next to the track at the exact spot where there is a maximum speed sign, indicating the content of the sign (example: 80km/h). This helps me remember potential speed change points. It would be useful to have a layer that activates a visible icon on the WME map to display these signs, without needing to open the comment box.

b) It would be wonderful if Waze used A.I. to scan Google Street View and capture all relevant traffic signs, marking them on the map for verification and subsequent handling…

Routes via faster alternate paths
I've noticed lately that Waze has been suggesting routes very similar to the routes suggested by Google Maps: through avenues and main streets that are most often jammed. Some time ago, Waze suggested smarter routes, avoiding traffic jams and going deeper into neighborhoods. The route was longer, but much faster. Today, he insists on passing only the main streets and this considerably increases the travel time. When the path is known I always follow the routes suggested in the past by Waze and 100% of the time I save between 5 to 10 minutes, which is a lot of time…
