  1. Offer Premium paid Subscription

You should offer a premium version business or professional drivers can subscribe to where there are added premium features . For example features like adding your type of make and model of vehicle so the ETA time is more accurate and takes into consideration your miles per gallon and can include time for gas fill ups and rest stops so the ETA is more accurate. Also more functionality with sharing your location and allowing those you share your location with to request your location if sharing stops working or you close the app accidentally. Also, reports from travel done that…

  2. Stop avoiding intersections with stoplights and routing to dangerous intersections.

I drive rideshare and I am constantly routed away from stoplights only to end up a very busy intersection that Waze wants me to cross or turn left onto a super busy cross-street that have low visibility due to cars parked along the side or large shrubbery. There is usually no way to turn around and I am stuck with having to wait for quite a long time for a safe time to cross or turn into high speed traffic. It seems to me the app is trying to avoid stoplights and I have no way of turning off the…

  3. Motorcycle mode.

As part of the list of requests for "Motorcycle Mode", I'd also like to ask that you add the following feature, something that has literally saved my life. Highlight "Objects on the road" hazards as a high level warning. By that I mean, maybe flash the danger on the UI, and have a different voice over warning. Normally warnings are "Vehicle on side of road". Those aren't a huge hazard, but objects on the road like a blown tire, metal flashing ..etc, are huge dangers for riders.

A great update to this would also be notifying other drivers that…

  4. Provide the lane for cars on shoulder

Can an alert for vehicles on the shoulder or an issue in a lane provide which lane the issue is in?

  5. Car Play Addition

    Greetings,
I’ve been using the Waze App on my phone for years. I recently started using Waze through Apple Car Play in my new vehicle.
While I’m enjoying it, I am missing one feature that is on my phone app.
That feature is being able to see the “turn by turn” directions.
All I’m able to see on the Car Play version is the next turn.
I’ve become used to being able to look ahead and see where Waze is sending me.
While I can pull out my phone a see the “turn by turn” directions, that defeats the…

  6. Add Alert for Roadside Assistance Vehicles (Australia)

I’d like to suggest adding a specific alert or hazard option for stationary roadside assistance vehicles in Australia (e.g. RAA, tow trucks). A new rule in South Australia—and soon other states—requires drivers to slow down to 25 km/h when passing these vehicles displaying flashing amber lights.

Including a reportable category or automatic alert would help increase compliance, improve safety for roadside workers, and align with local road laws.

  7. ALERTA DE RADARES EM FUNCIONAMENTO NOTURNO. LIGADO-DESLIGADO ALERT OF RADARS IN NIGHT WORKING. ON OFF

    Prezados Especialistas WAZE,

() Lame - you removed Schwarzenegger voice at update without warning () No ability to search voice list - forced to scroll unordered list () While en route to destination, app suggests food establishments that are MANY miles in OPPOSITE DIRECTION () In Andriod Auto mode, if view Contact, click SHARE street address, choose Waze, the waze app throws error - cant find address - yet works expectedly when not on AndroidAuto () App needs to allow user to define temporary road detours, school zones, large speed humps () Show the current road name,…

  9. prioritize environmentally friendly route proposals (with user-value)

nowadays, it is no longer appropriate to always display the fastest route as the default.
just today waze wanted to send me from a 25.2 km route to a 49.9 km route because it was 5 minutes faster. I think 14% time savings for a 58% longer and thus a more material- and environment-harming route, not appropriate!
in addition, vehicles consume less fuel when they drive slower (39 vs 70 km/h average in my example)

There should be a user-value in the options with defines the accepted time-distance-tradeoff. In my case a value of about 3 km/min would be…

  10. Save lives by alerting motorists that critically endangered Red Wolves are living near highways

Red Wolves are critically endangered and living in North Carolina near the Outer Banks. Several Red Wolves have been killed by vehicle strikes as millions of people travel to the beach each year. Sadly, many humans and different wildlife species have also lost their lives in this area because many in the traveling public simply do not know what they are traveling through, which is one of the most fragmented habitats within the East Coast. We need a Red Wolf icon and a tagline alerting motorists to slow down once they enter into Red Wolf country. This will not only…

  11. Individual Volume Settings

Please implement a dedicated sound/volume setting allowing for volume to be increased to as loud or as low as wanted. Some vehicles and devices are having issues selecting louder volume for Waze, especially when using other infotainment features like Bluetooth music or CarPlay.

I would like it if waze alerted where things are in 1 mile that way things go smoothly wether it’s police or vehicles on the shoulder that way people aren’t panicking

  13. Flip or swap speed to other side of screen (for CarPlay) and/or make speed limit as big as actual speed.

Hi. Love Waze, but this idea is one of three that would take it from good to great for me...

Problem: For RH Drive vehicles, especially with CarPlay or where the phone is mounted to the left of the steering wheel, the speed limit (as opposed to actual speed) is too hard to read quickly while driving.

    Some solutions:
    1) A simple option to flip (or swap) the speed widget to the other side of the screen... and / or
    2) An option that displays the speed limit the same size as the actual speed, perhaps partly tucked behind…

  14. Update algorithms for common sense

I travel to work on a 4 lane divided highway. Same car, same route, same phone, every day. I continually get that damned CHIRP as I'm driving 80 mph down the divided highway and it will recalculate, thinking I've somehow made a miraculous 90 degree turn to the right, at 80 mph, and it thinks it has to recalculate my route. 1) how about you put some common sense into your algorithms, that will figure "this vehicle has been on this highway for xx miles, it hasn't slowed down any...so it must not be turning onto the side street". 2)…

Your algorithm that reports duplicate reports is wrong. It assumes that the LAST located report is the real thing and prior nearby reports are duplicates. This is incorrect. You should assume that reports are NOT duplicates at all. Let me give an exact case. On the highway n12/n3 intersection on the corner of woodmead (suburb) in Johannesburg RSA, starting at -26.047675193550557, 28.093193441959258 and ending at -26.03960699164605, 28.067755371505946, on the date 31 Nov 2021 at around 4pm, there were THREE stopped vehicles at the roadside. Your system recorded them as THREE REPORTS at the LAST location, rather than three separate…

  16. Avoid low emissions zones button

An avoid low emissions zones button would be helpful for the drivers of pre 2016 non euro 6 diesel vehicles.
I intend to visit Edinburgh and Dundee in the summer both of which have low emissions zones. For me Birmingham and Bristol low emissions zones also need to be avoided.

  17. It's complain not suggestion

Although I adore the app, many local updates—particularly those regarding speed bumps and road closures—are absent.
When I attempted to assist with map updating, your editor volunteer sent me a message with instructions, which are
not feasible to complete using Android Auto or
driving a vehicle. In addition, the message he sent
    gave me a boyish feeling.
annoying the head of the school with his incorrect
    responses and unawareness,
    so I won't use
the reporting feature once more, and if I discover another way to find speed bump and speed camera locations, I might quit using the app altogether.…

  18. Turn Signal on Arrow icon

Most drivers in my countries do not have the habit or using turn signal on their vehicles before turning. I suggest adding blinking turn signal lights on the arrow icon in the app just before a turn to remind drivers to use their actual turn signal.

    21 century problem.......

  19. Add

Option to save clicking, that is, first clicking on danger and then instead of clicking on the road or on the curb or something else, give the option to drive on the road or drive on the curb or something else. At the moment it is also confusing that the vehicle is marked in red like the other warnings. On another topic, maybe in the menu you can insert a section for determining travel places in advance, for example I fly to the Netherlands, in the folder I mark places that instead of writing them or looking for them, I…

  20. editor level

I recently got to Level 2 Editor and contributed a lot in my region. My region is large and population is spread out across the province of New Brunswick. a lot of roads are for level 3 and up editors, but for me to gain 25000 points to move to level 3 is almost impossible. Wish there was a way to that a person could gain higher access via referral and be underneath another higher editor that could monitor my work, This would be more profitable for the app to be developed faster and get serious editors involved.
