2. Automated Incident Emergency Detection & Location Screen Change and 3 type descriptor

   Unless it is your day job, and even then, most people faced with an emergency situation either as a victim or a witness, especially in a vehicle, will suffer immense rushes of adrenaline pumping around the body, any injuries invoke confusion as delayed shock sets in.

   Is there/ can there be any rapid single panic-proof (user option selected) - such as 5 second hold of fingers on the screen in two places simultaneously or gyroscopic sudden impact detection via phone or user holds max/min volume buttons at their max point for a duration (viz like Apple power down) - depending on user settings, additionally, such detection automatically engages the phone torch in user chosen: static, various rates of flashing or SOS. An EMS (country specific) CALL single button press, combined with further settings-related onscreen depiction graphics and text of the INCIDENT LOCATION, directions to then be boldly shown in large simplistic unfussy print on the screen- displaying three of the most common used international location descriptors: 1. What Three Words 2. Long/latitude coordinates 3. descriptive language versions e.g. “I am northbound on the XYZ nn miles from the xyz slip road opposite ZYX building “ combined with options such as send via SMS option &/or turn on handset camera (where applicable) to live link the incident scene for disaster planning teams assessments if necessary. Such crisis do not offer those present with clear thought either the victims or witnesses as shock sets in, and by providing easy-read, unfussy screen display, such pinpoint accuracy, that they can recite to the other end of the call, valuable minutes will expedite all emergency services response and potentially save lives and limbs, Most of these suggestions I envisage to be user settings selected as to how the user is automatically impacted with the change of screen in such situations. It could vary from a small overlaid window with just the 3 location options, all the way to a full EMS window with all options and flashing torches. Either way, in an emergency, something will help those present in providing essential location detail in those crucial minutes. If there is to be an option for ‘voice activated control’ then the initial part should be automatic from the AI not the user, in case they are incapacitated or unable to speak; the AI should time-out to non-vocal after a period so anyone in vision of the display can see the location, in case they are unable to move, but can use their own phone to call EMS instead.

4. Ignore Wifi based location info

   Please Ignore Wifi based location, and only use physical GPS data.
   It happens when GPS signal lost, than inaccurate Wifi based location info provides location info and it is useless, as there are 3 street in the same wifi range.

   Im facing a bug/issue when i’m using apple car play, the speed displayed on waze is not accurate to my car speed.

6. work on the road with new speed limit

   3) each work on the road (construction site) always has a different speed limit (there is a speed reduction and ... often a speed camera nearby): the wazer must be able to easily enter the new speed limit.

7. Ability to grade roads

   It would be nice to be able to grade the quality of a road. I always avoid taking up certain suggested roads, just because I know their quality is not good and prefer staying in traffic 3 more minutes than wrecking my car.

9. phone hanging

   when i use waze app if i receive a whats app, viber or facebook call the waze app is hanging. after i have to restart the app many time only it 'll be ok.

10. Une option jeune conducteur

    Il faudrait dans les réglages une option que l'on peu choisir pendant 3ans ou moins que l'on vient d'avoir notre permis, que nous sommes jeunes conducteurs. Ce qui nous permettrait d'avoir nos limitation de vitesse instaurer, nous informer de garder nos distance si on est trop près, et surtout nous sentir plus en sécurité avec Waze...

11. Receive alerts even when Waze isn’t in the foreground of Apple CarPlay

    I use Apple CarPlay and I may not always have Waze in the foreground. I find that I don’t always receive speed camera alerts unless I am speeding.

    It would be excellent to receive audible alerts of speed cameras, or other speed trap or police related alerts, no matter what app is running in the foreground.

12. feature suggestion, pop up reports when there are traffic issues to any of the destinations on your favorites list

    we all have favorites saved. waze should pop up a warning when it detects we are travelling and warn of accidents and such in a route to any of the destinations, we could then click to find an alternate route and have from there. also, what about a warning when there are serious accidents near home and work locations.

13. Pitomé přidávání dálničních známek

    Waze 4.46.0.2
    Aplikace mne opakovaně vyzývá k přidání dálničních známek.
    Co by se dle mého názoru dalo naprogramovat lépe?
    1) neupozorňovat na možnost přidání dálničních známek na trasách, kde využití dálnice nepřichází v úvahu (např. z Chrudimi do Chotěboře - takových tras je spoustu)
    2) přidat volbu, že dálniční známku NEMÁM (tj. celkem 3 volby pro každou A=mám B=nemám C=zatím nezvoleno
    3) když už nic z toho (body 1 a 2), tak aspoň neupozorňujte na možnost přidání cizokrajných dálničních známek!!!

    Bod 3) mně přinutil napsat feedback, protože ani po přidání CZ dálniční známky (přesto že ji nemám a po dálnici nikam nejezdím jsem si ji přidal, abych měl klid) mě Waze nepřestal otravovat s nabídkou dalších dálničních známek (Slovensko, Maďarsko, Rakousko ….)

    Takže jsem si je přidal všechny a snad budu mít konečně klid, ale spíš by měl programátor ošetřit program, než aby všichni byli nucení použít "moje" řešení.

    Make a go now please as default option or possibility to choose it what you prefer, on my another acc i have go now but on main acc i have view routes and its annoying to click 10 times before you can go.

15. Larger Comment Box for Android

    Its hard to backtrack or proofread the previous lines that have been typed when you can only practically see one line. Would be better if its like FB messenger where 3 whole lines can be seen at the same time.

16. Adapting waze to silent mode (features needed)

    I prefer to use waze in silent mode,
    but what is missing in that state is the warning on time.

    1. i need that when i give a snap look at the app it will tell me that the turn is close.
       currently i cant understand in a snap look at the app what the scale of the lane. am i few km away from a turn or just 800 meters.
       you can achieve that by changing the blue line lane when you get closer to the junction. maybe add on it small lines that marks the turn. change its pattern so i can see easily the turn is near.

    2. the second thing you miss is that i am not getting those notification of turn X then immediately Y.
       you can solve that by adding the next-next turn in the top of the windows, just under the next turn, when they are really close.
       so i will know also which lanes to choose.

    3. I prefer the algorithm to take into consideration the comfortableness of the route. sometimes it takes me through a route which is slight faster (maybe) but it include a lot of added actual driving. more junctions, crossing etc. when actually i prefer to go on the high way slowly on the traffic jam, but with less fatigue and less hustle.

    4. please include AI and statistics so i wont be sent in distant route that during the ride becomes more and more loaded, even though in the original route it seemed clear.

17. Who is the JERK that took away the Prevent auto-lock option???

    I just switched phones (Note 3 to a Note 9). Incoming calls now take over Waze screen, which may or may not come back after call. WTF??? Why has the Prevent auto-lock functionality been removed???

18. Lane guidance colour

    The current lane guidance in Android Auto is shown such that the 1st line shows the upcoming lanes to take, and the 2nd line shows the next (i.e. then) guidance. Instead of taking up two lines, which takes up space, colour the most appropriate lane (s) in a different colour (green), and the least best lane in another colour (amber). For eg, if the upcoming highway exit is 3 lanes to the right, but the final edit is only the right most lane, colour the 3 arrows such that the right most is green, and the two other arrows in amber. That way, driver will know from a long way out that the lane to take is ultimately the right most. In the current display, drivers on unfamiliar routes can't tell which of the 3 lanes to take until it's too close. Advance information would help a lot! Actually, if the arrow can progressively change colour gradient it'll be even better

20. ad restaurant wait times in my area based feedback from other people waiting for a table.

    I hate waiting for a table on a Friday or Saturday evening, if we could all share restaurant wait times, we would know what restaurant has the shortest wait for a table. Much like Waze reroutes us for traffic based on user feedback.
