The display of the vehicle speed and local speed limit cannot be turned off. settings toggle do not work.
This may be a bug but the displayed speed limit and vehicle speed cannot be toggled turned off. It can be toggled off/on in the settings but the display continues to show on the screen.

UX for switching from navigation to alerts only
I use Waze every day. I also park in a garage every day. To that end, I go from navigation to alerts only and back, at least every day.
I would like you to look at the UX involved in swapping from one mode to the other. I think it should be easier to do this directly from the app - not from the menu below the main screen.

Move the road alerts to the top right or bottom left corner so not blocking arrival time?
Can you move the road alerts to the other side of the screen so I can still see the distance and arrival time without to click the "still there or not there" button to remove the alert?

improvements for android auto
if it is possible, when used together with android auto on the Waze screen, you can at least change the route and be able to stop or restart the sound, or be able to press on the phone screen to resume the route, At the moment you can't do anything while you are connected to android auto from the phone, only from the car screen, and I have a digital dashboard clock that supports android auto but it is not a touch screen, I can't do anything from the waze application while I am connected to…

multiple workplaces
I work at two locations throughout the week. Previous to this job I enjoyed that my work was always easily accessible at the top of the suggestions list. Now that i work at two locations, i wish i still had this option. I currently have them both saved under my favorites, but this requires me to click into the favorites folder, meaning i have to navigate multiple screens rather than having my destination pinned at the top. This simple change would be a major QOL upgrade for any Wazer with multiple workplaces.

Please allow the map screen to be displayed on iphone screen at same time as being connected to CarPlay via cable.
My phone is secured right up at top of dashboard for safer view of map whilst keeping eye on the road ahead.
However I can’t use any of the features of CarPlay, as, as soon as it’s connected to CarPlay, the map disappears from my iphone screen. Which is less than ideal. The In car screen is really low down in my car… and I think a lot of people would benefit from this feature….

Like the new look, but: 1. Streets look too wide, they look like they've been skeched with a thick marker by a 5 year old. G-maps has a much cleaner look. 2. The zoom-in distance is too high, street names outside route are not visible, also street names are not very visible even without navigating.3. Android Auto - Arrange Display based on left or right hand drive and Icon Size and Speed
To save the person stretching to the other side of the screen to click an icon. If you have to stretch to reach it may impact your driving direction, and how long you need to look at the screen for.
For me the Reporting something panel appears on the non-driver side.
Adapt the screen so that icons you click on are always on the drivers side.
When half screen mode, you can not report anything anyway, so consider also making, bigger icons and going through two panels may also be better.

Improve the advanced warning pop-up
Currently when driving I get a warning for a hazard ahead, it has a "not there" and "thanks" button at the bottom. This box takes up about a quarter of the screen (and obscures about a third of the map) but does not contain any details. I have to then scroll the map until I see the hazard marker and tap it to see the details (which open in another pop-up). I can't dismiss the original pop-up because it is the only way to access the "not there" feature.
My suggestion is to remove the "not there" and "thanks" button…

Voice control for alerts - both acknowledging and reporting
To Avoid looking at screen to acknowledge or report warning. Tap screen anywhere and say ‘waze. Accident. Or waze traffic standstill or waze still there or waze no longer there. Looking at picking lists while driving is not a good idea I feel

Tools need to move
The images of the constant nav aids are etching themselves onto the screen of my Samsung S8 so I can see them when other lighter coloured apps are on my ph...Doesn't look good...I use Waze daily...

Fix the setting to keep waze on top when a mob call is in progress using ear buds hands free.
I set Waze to stay on top of other apps whan a mob call comes in but it doesn't work.
When I get a mob call my screen goes to my phone app instead of staying with Waze on the screen.

Add a wireless OBD2 sensor for additional vehicle safety information
Suggest adding a wireless Bluetooth OBD2 device (BlueDriver or OBDLink MX+) so Waze can access safety features from your vehicle such as:
1. Blind spot warning
2. Accidental lane departure
3. Show when turn signals are on - for those that forget - optional beep after 5 seconds and before my wife says “YOUR BLINKERS ON!!!”
4. Etc.Option - For lane departure and blind spot warning above - when the two are triggered the Waze display or the hud display below could kick in the appropriate mirror camera video (if the vehicle has mirror cameras) so you see the…

New UX in Android Auto is terrible
April 2023 changes to the UX are terrible.
- More complicated, and needs more clicks to get anywhere
- Initial suggestions don't include Work or Home, requiring extra fiddling to select them.
- Many more clicks to get to routine things like reporting traffic.
- There/Not There options for hazards are virtually unusable - it constantly pulls focus back to the search icon.
Also sometimes get nothing other than "Welcome to Waze" on the main part of the screen.

Good day
When the maps open up there is no visible clock to see the time. Would it be possible to display the time on the maps screen as well.
Especially in vehicles that does not have.

Waze locks up on Pixel phones
Waze constantly locks up on Pixel 7, Pixel 6 and previous Pixel 3aXL. Locks up on phone as well as on Ford Sync display. Google maps work fine. Wish Waze would work. Tried to send from my phone, but Waze just freezes up. It will load on occasion but doesn't work for long.

Add fix camera on the app
These days, there are many fixed speed cameras that suddenly appeared in Hungary.
There are mobile cameras and police registrations on the screen, but there are no fixed speed cameras. It would be nice if you could add it. Thank you.2 votes -
Update online help re:Using your personal address book contacts to navigate (for iOS)
Current online forum help does not accurately describe how to enable Waze to access your personal address book contacts to navigate (for iOS). After some back/forth with Waze staff I was able to find how to do so.
To enable Waze to access your personal address book for iPhone
- Ensure you are logged into Waze under the “settings” section
- Open up Waze and press “search”
- Press “Where To?” And it will take you to the next “Where to” screen that shows “Talk to Waze” and “Favorites” below the search bar.

Can you make high contrast maps for direct sun light on screen, size adjustable speed indication and limit, optional speech for over speed, and glove friendly button sizes.
Waze is already good, this would make it the best on a bike
