pedestrian crossings & unmarked intersections
Hi Waze,
I live in Romania and I have two suggestions for you. I will mention them below in order of importance, as I believe they could save many lives and help prevent accidents.
1 - In Romania, unfortunately, there are many pedestrian crossings on national and county roads where traffic is heavy. Many of them are not even properly marked or illuminated. Could you create an option that allows us to map pedestrian crossings on the road?

muito bom o app, porém com a atualização, a notificação de chegada ficou muito cumprida atrapalhando assim que o motorista vizualizar o local correto, atraso e mudança de linguagem ao pesquisar um endereço por voz , a tela de navegação abre mais a tela de voz não fecha tendo assim que apertar para voltar e em seguida para ir ao destino, e aconselho a diminuir o tempo dos exibições de notificações que permanecem em tela por muito tempo, já na área de notificação de eventos na rua, colocar radar, pós tem locais novos com radares e não podemos sinalizar

Should not need to input autosweep / e pass before waze directs you to skyway etc
Need to transparently show diff route options even if you don't have autosweep/e pass (there is anyway a cash lane!). Otherwise if you don't have these cards, waze automatically directs you to service roads / high traffic areas even though there are alternatives. I just came to PH from CA two weeks ago and I ended up driving 6+h from Batangas to Manila bec even though I did not choose "no toll", Waze anyway directed me to service roads etc bec i didn't have autosweep or epass (even though there is anyway a cash lane option in the high…

Quando arrivo alla destinazione prestabilita, compare una banda nera esagerata in alto, con il placeholder di una foto, mentre in basso rimangono i due menu. Capita spesso però che uno debba continuare a girare in macchina prima di potersi fermare ma Waze ha ridotto la mappa vivibile a una lingua minuscola, dando priorità a cose che, per quanto mi riguarda, non mi serviranno fino a che non mi fermerò (per segnare la posizione del parcheggio o altro). Hazzard confirmation UI
While driving it's very hard to use the Yes/No buttons, while paying attention to the road and hazzard that was just announced. I would suggest a large control with swipe left/right, that is easy to use without looking at the phone screen for long, and without trying to be very precise with your fingers on the screen. You could still split it in two areas, so a click on the left or right still work as Yes/No, just to avoid annoying users that are accustomed with the current UI. A new camera type: Traffic offence cameras
In Hong Kong, we have "traffic offence cameras" (交通違例相機, in Chinese) that capture any cars pursuing an illegal manoeuvre, like crossing double-white lines that shall not be crossed, or unlawfully stopping or parking at no-stopping or no-parking areas.
May I know if Waze could add this type of cameras to the system? I believe these cameras are not exclusive to Hong Kong but present in many territories, including Japan, China, Taiwan and others. Kangaroo Alert Feature for Australian Waze Users
I’d love to suggest adding a new alert option for kangaroo sightings near roads. In Australia, kangaroos are a significant cause of vehicle collisions, especially around dawn and dusk. It would be incredibly helpful if drivers could mark kangaroo sightings or active areas on the Waze map, just as they can mark hazards or police alerts.

Parked Time/Timer
Maybe add a time and timer for when you parked and how long you’ve been parked?
Some parking areas require you to move your car at certain times — for example, some places only allow parking for 2 hours, 2.5 hours, or even less or more. It would be useful to have that kind of timer.
Normally, when I’ve parked, I just close the Waze app and don’t click on “Parked.”
It would be useful to have this feature in the Waze app, and for it to show on the phone’s lock screen?

Accessibility Feedback – Request for Earlier, More Detailed Voice Directions for ADHD Drivers
Many of us rely almost entirely on audio guidance instead of the visual map, because watching the screen or tracking small map details while driving can be overwhelming or distracting. However, the current voice directions often announce turns or exits too close to the actual point of action, which makes it stressful to react safely — especially in unfamiliar areas or during highway driving.

In the city where I live, some roads have shoulders on one or both sides. We know that these areas are not traffic lanes, but are intended for vehicles to stop or park temporarily. However, every day, no matter which route I take, I keep receiving the alert “hazard reported – vehicle stopped.” I can see that people are reporting this incorrectly, since a vehicle stopped on the shoulder is not a hazard. This alert should only appear when a vehicle is stopped on the actual lane, truly obstructing the way. Therefore, I believe this warning should only exist…
