  1. Please add covered bridge warnings like the train tracks warning you have. Lancaster Couny PA’s covered bridges are damaged by large vehicl.

    Pls add covered bridge warnings like the train track warnings you already have. I live in Lancaster County PA where such bridges are severely damaged by large vehicles that shouldn’t be on them.

  2. time based lane direction and lane available based on weather

    Some lanes are not two ways in some hours of the day and a lot of foreign drive in the wrong direction at that hour.

    Some lanes will be flooded due to heavy rain... etc

  5. Enhanced Road Type Attributes for Improved Route Planning

    I’d like to suggest an enhancement to the Waze road attribute system to improve route planning in regions with diverse road types. Currently, Waze allows drivers to identify paved and unpaved roads; however, many cities, including mine, have roads with unique surfaces, such as cobblestone or "stoned" roads, which can significantly impact vehicle mechanics and increase wear and tear.

    Proposed Solution:

    Additional Road Surface Options: Include new road attributes, such as "Stoned/Cobblestone" roads, alongside "Paved" and "Unpaved."
    User-Selectable Avoidance Options: Allow drivers to choose to avoid certain road types like "Stoned" roads, which can affect vehicle stability and wear.

  6. Delayed Caused by Trains

    It would be nice to know when a train is stuck on the railways or there is a delay caused by trains. I sometimes end up in the longest traffic jam. Just to realize the train isn't over a certain section of road further down the other intersections. If it could suggest an alternate route or tell us "Rail road traffic jam reported up ahead"

  8. Speed limit visibility

    When you pass the speed limit, for example riding a motorcycle, it becomes very difficult to read the actual speed.The speed indicator should be bigger, and when you traspass it, it shold have more contrast. I simply can´t see it on my phone. Maybe, as an option, the user could set the size and color of theese thins on screen. Thanksss

  9. Indiquer les voies bloquées dans l'onglet "Fermetures" de WME

    Bonjour,

    Serait-il possible d’ajouter une option dans l'onglet "Fermetures" de Waze Map Editor pour indiquer précisément quelle voie est bloquée ? Cela permettrait d’utiliser les flèches de l'onglet "Voies et largeur" pour spécifier les fermetures plus en détail.

  10. Commercial vehicle restricted Roads

    Rotherhithe tunnel in London is restricted. Commercial vehicles are not allowed to use it, but Waze always routes you through. People are getting hefty fines when they follow the guidance from Waze and if there are road closures on a usual river crossing, it always sends you through here.

    I'm sure there are many commercial vehicle restricted roads that Waze routes you through, especially in London.

    Please, PLEASE! look into having a commercial vehicle option. You've got motorbikes, private, EVs and taxis. How about you look after the ones that drive as part of their job.

  11. Edit review still limited

    Sometimes this new feature is available on Level 1, other simple editing like add new streets, rename some of them, turn up indications are not available and just after doing all the work, it ends up with, "That change isn't allowed at this time and won't be sent for review" or something....
    And that is a lost of time, please keep going with edit reviews but somehow avoid these messages.

  13. Skipping Fuel Stations

    If a user adds a stop on their route at a fuel station on the highway but exits earlier, for example, to visit a different fuel station and then returns to the highway, the app could ask: "It looks like you've already visited a fuel station. Would you like to remove the pin from the selected station?"

  14. Favorite locations

    It would be useful if the user could save his favorite locations. This facility exists in Google maps and is completely missing from Waze.

  15. Ability to change map from dark to light setting on car play

    For long drives on highways when you have your headlights on during the daytime. You should be able to toggle between dark mode and light mode on the car play screen of the car as you are not allowed to touch your phone while driving. It only needs to be a simple toggle bar of light-dark

  17. Sync Discuss Notifications

    Discuss notifications should be visible through the notification button built into the editor. This would boost engagement and help people get reminders of beta releases, updates to unlock requests, etc.

  18. Crosswalk Hazard

    Adding the feature to mark crosswalks that require you to yield to pedestrians. In many of our towns there are random crosswalks that are not part of an intersection that state law requires drivers to yield to any pedestrians that walk out into it. It would be nice to have a hazard similar to the speed bump hazard to mark these locations.

  19. WME personal and Group Layer notices.

    First if all the WME
    To be able to add areas finished or areas of Interest or unfinished areas. To be shown only to yourself or to a group.

    Also to be able to see that area in the Waze APP.
    So you can see areas that needs to be explored.

    I have notification layers for different addresses and streets confirmed, also areas that is boudneries to the ones i work in.

    This is a mess to other users. But really good for me to keep track of things.

    Waze debería indicar la distancia a la localidad más próxima que esté sobre la ruta, incluyendo su nombre. Actualmente, sólo indica la distancia a la próxima rotonda o bifurcación.
