Add warning about "Off-road/Not maintained" segments
Following warnings can be used:
* voice warning - on navigating to new POI, on entering "Off-road/Not maintained" segments
* show such segments as bars with special color on roure chart similar to bars with traffic jams
* highlight such segments with special color on map. With current implementation user is able to find such segments with map color scheme for editors. After navigating to POI it is covered with bold line of proposed route so colors are not visible16 votes -
Add address numbers when arrived
Need to add address (number and street) when on final street instead of saying "you have arrived at your destination". Uber and Lyft drivers use waze and need to know address. We look at mail boxes as we drive down the street. Sometimes the x is not in the same location as the address but we can't see the address.

Stop changing language when you cross the border
I don't know if it's my phone or waze, but I'm taking a trip around Europe and every time I cross a border the voice commands change language. And it's not even the language of the country, I'm in Italy now and it switched to French. My native tongue is Dutch but I'm from Belgium so I speak a bit of French but it would still be nice just to keep the language I selected.

Umweltzone/environmental zones
In many countries in Europe environment zones are popping up. In these zones you can only drive if you have a sticker showing your car create less pollution than certain levels.
For instance, inner München is off-limit to older diesel cars.
You should be able in the app to indicate what label, if any, your car have, then not be routed into forbidden areas.

In-Depth Car Icons
I think it would make Waze just a little bit better if you could have customisable car icons and choose your exact make and model and have like car conditions so for example i want to carpool but i can say " hey i want to carpool in a nice Mercedes S550" and i could see the people with the car that i want to carpool and i could see if i wanted to carpool in a nice car instead of a junky beater!

Variable Speed Limit Sign Integration
Here in Northeast Ohio in our construction zones we have "Variable Speed Limit" signs. They are used to reduce the speed limit on a streth of road only when the work zone is active. Example stretches are the Interstate 271/480 stretch in Bedford and again on Interstate 480 in Parma. The 271/480 signs will be in use til 2021 according to the construction plan.
There are several solutions:
1) When entering reported construction zone there could be a pop up presented asking for current speed with known work zone MPH listed (see below)

Route change warning due to traffic or closure
It would be nice to get a warning of when a route is changed from the original route, especially taking local roads instead of freeway due to traffic or closure. I could see a few traffic pins before navigating, but usually it's not a big deal because it's typically a minor slowdown. At times, there are no pins before navigating because the route is different than normal. People are accustomed to their daily routine route that it can cause temporary confusion on why the route is changed.

Make a segment routable or not depending on atmospheric conditions
Some segments (dirt specially) are routables or not depending on dry or wet conditions.
Since there are Apps. that report rain conditions on specific places, use that information to decide if some segments can be used to navigation.16 votes -

Automatically change from miles to kilometers
I'm traveling often between countries which use either miles or kilometers. As was available in a previous version, it would be great to have the option of waze using miles in the US and having it automatically switch to kilometers in Europe or the Middle East.

PLEASE remove the reporting of potholes -- This is driving me insane.
Hello,
Though I do believe the initial intentions of reporting potholes were genuine, it has become an absolute nightmare for regular wazers.
I live in a metropolitan area and, unfortunately, not many people in my area have any inclination on what a pothole actually is. This has led to people spamming the map with tens of pothole reports on any given stretch of road (usually the reports are for an uneven patch of road, or even a small bump in the road)...
I'm sure other will agree that this issue has led to, and will continue to lead to, alert…

Rotas de risco
Bom dia! Sou usuária deste maravilhoso aplicativo há algum tempo e gostaria de parabenizá-los pela criação. Porém, algumas vezes já ocorreu da rota selecionada me enviar para dentro de favelas e áreas de risco sem nenhum alerta prévio sobre isso!Já passei por situação bastante perigosa numa violenta favela próxima de BH, um atalho indicado pelo Waze. Solicito que integrem com as informações de geoprocessamento de áreas de risco para evitar situações como a de Niterói, com a morte de uma mulher.
Grata pela atenção e certa de que cuidarão deste importante detalhe.

Retirem a informação de Policia na Via
São Paulo, 12 de agosto de 2015.
Ao Waze.Sou Cidadão da maior metrópole da America Latina, moro em São Paulo, sou usuário desta maravilhosa ferramenta chamada Waze. Ela me ajuda a sair de grandes congestionamentos, e só por esse serviço merece todos os elogios, mas ainda me permite localizar empresas, serviços, amigos, etc.
Mas não posso aceitar, que este serviço também sirva de arma de bandidos contra a Segurança dos Cidadãos. Não posso aceitar que seja possível informar a existência de fiscalização nas vias Públicas. Qual é o intuito de informar a ação Policial?
