Waze for deaf people
It would be great if Waze added some sort of subtitles to the voice command so deaf people could also have guidance on that. Or even a specific sound that causes the vibration they need to understand it is an alert

Would be great to have the road bumper flagged on the map, maybe advised 100 metres before.
implement the maps and the advise during the navigation with road bumper position and sound to advise it at least 100 metres before the position.

Resume drive notification
A toggle to send silent notification.
Resume drive notification option when waze was stopped without exiting navigation.This could be a nice option to me and for everyone that eccidentaly closes the app by clearing apps. And also when you are driving and waze is stopped by system.
For me the app closes automatically on my mate 20 Pro while I'm navigating with sound direction via headphones. And I am not even aware when it happens. With this option I would be able to change the notification sound for that and know waze has closed and resume with one click.

why are fix speed limit controls able to be removed with "already gone" button??
Hello Guys, i have a question.
If there are fixxed speed controls on the road, why is it possible to tab on "already gone" ? this doesn't make sense for fix built radar controls. Can we not add the fix radar controls to the map with a proove photo and let them for ever in the Map? i think there are people they just tab on "Already gone" or maybe some police officers on the road which have fun to do this?

US English Pronunciations are Odd
Place names sound weird at times.
Sounds hilarious to be driving from ""Pali-men-oh C-t" to "Muh-leek-a Hill" to the "Commode-door Barry Bridge" on 322 to "west CHESTER" to my final destination of a business called a "Koh".
Oh and also "Deptford" shouldn't sound like "Depped-FORD".
Well at least you have Sewell and Mantua correct. Gloucester is kinda ok.

A primeira é a opção de diminuir o brilho do aplicativo, especialmente para carros como o Onix e o Tracker, que não possuem uma função nativa na multimídia para ajustar o brilho. Durante viagens noturnas, o brilho intenso da tela pode ser bastante incômodo. Ter a opção de diminuir o brilho dentro do próprio Waze seria sensacional, especialmente para usuários do modo Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. Please, please, please, someone at Waze sort out the English UK Kate voice issue. Forget the new version, sounds clunky,synthetic and unnatural, just re-instate as before. It's downright distracting now while driving, will loook for an alternative app if this continues.

YIDDISH for WAZE
Few years ago I have created Yiddish voice for WAZE. Hundreds of Jewish people in Israel, USA, Holland and GB are hearing my voice of Yiddish. But it is a local version, and I have to send it each one, that asks me. I would like to include my two versions (one for metric system and another for miles) of Yiddish sound in your original vesrsion, so it will be a part of the language pack. I don’t ask for any money, just to make the Yiddish language a leagal part of the best navigator.

support "car camera" mode
today, a lot of drivers buy a car camera. we can save it by adding this feature to waze.
the phone is already mounted aiming at the front of the car, and we can also recor sounds inside the car.save last 3\5 minutes. ON\OFF from settings, screen button to "save video".
permenantly delete older files not to use a lot of disk space and dont use the best camera option (3 min. of 4K is a lot!). option to save to internal memory\SD card if available. option to "share" the file to gmail, google drive etc.63 votesGreat thinking! My idea to make wase better is, set in road toll on the map and drive, and speed limit buzzle sound, prevent overspeed on road and face summon by traffic officer. and a lot of speedtrap camera on high-speed expressway,

Implement user-configurable delay (in increments of 0.1 sec) for voice alerts
Some vehicle Bluetooth implementations have lengthy handshaking which prevents the first second or two of Waze voice alerts from actually being heard. My car has a feature that ramps up the volume of a Bluetooth phone incrementally on first connection. However, the impact is that in most driving situations, the first two seconds are simply too quiet to be heard!
For example, instead of "In 500 metres, turn right onto Main Street.", all you hear is ".. to Main Street". Obviously, this information is unclear and confusing, forcing the driver to glance at the map on the phone to verify…

A louder, better sound signal option when you exceed the speedlimit would be verry helpfull.
Its to soft and doesn't catch your attention on a bussy or loud road. Pump it up. Speedlimits are important.

Zone de danger
Bonjour. En france la législation nous interdit de voir la position fixe d'un radar automatique mais elle autorise d'afficher des " zones de danger " . Malheureusement waze n'affiche pas ces zones comme l'application tomtom et l'application coyote. Il faut absolument que waze ajoute ces " zones de danger " !!

Restore and add more alert choices and sub-choices - make the last more visible
Hello, Waze. For unknown reason to us, your users, you are lowering the variety of the alerts that could be reported and/or their sub-options. The most striking example is the police reporting option where it is not possible to report a police from the other side. Please restore it. Please, add the following reports:
1) stationary speed camera
1.1) please add a detail about the direction the already added stationary speed cameras are pointing at - towards the incoming cars or at the same direction of the road lane group. Also add this as an option for the ones that…2 votes
