2. Sugestões

   Eu possuo o APP GPS TOMTOM (caro por sinal), mas deixei de utilizá-lo porque o APP GPS WAZE o superou em muito.
   Contudo envio sugestões que, acredito, irá agregar melhorias aos usuários do Waze:
   1 - Para os avisos de radares e avisos de limites de velocidades, emitir SONS DIFERENTES. Com opções de escolhas do som.
   Esta facilidade permite ao motorista tomar ações, sem ter que desviar o olhar para o GPS (celular).
   2 - indicar a faixa a ser tomada (sinalizar com setas) principalmente em rodovias, marginais, grandes avenidas, etc.
   Facilita visualização da faixa a ser tomada.
   3 - Aumentar o tamanho do relógio velocímetro (maior destaque). O tamanho atual dificulta a visualização rápida .
   4 - Alterar a cor do ícone (quadro quando aparecem os alertas) da cor verde para vermelho. Maior destaque.
   5 - Disponibilizar uma caixa no APP Waze, a exemplo da CAIXA DE ENTRADAS, para os WAZERs reportarem sugestões e, também, problemas e dúvidas que as CAIXAS de ALERTAS não contemplam. Acredito que esta caixa (ferramenta) será um ótimo meio de comunicação entre os WAZERs e a comunidade que fazem as manutenções no APP.

   Obs: As sugestões 1 e 2 são contemplas no APP TOMTOM. Ótimas.

3. Esther Perez’s voice

   Esther Perel sounds like a loving, gentle mother. Everything she says is so wise. I would love her voice in my Waze, and I would never do anything immature with an angel talking to me until I get home.

4. Dim screen between directions and alerts

   It would be great to have an option to allow the screen to go off until a direction or alert announcement was about to be made. This would:
   - Save battery life (for when you forget your charge cable!)
   - Be a great visual trigger when sound is off (when the baby is sleeping in the back)
   - Help prevent screen burn in for those phones with that issue

5. Sugestão de atualização para o waze

   Caro amigo, bom dia.
   Venho por meio desta propor sugestões ao seu aplicativo.
   1-Deixar nas configurações que eu determine no setup, se eu quero os avisos por voz ligado constantemente , pois no meu ele só avisa se tem radar utilizando a voz se eu estiver em alta velocidade, eu gostaria de poder ter a opção de fazê-lo com que desse este aviso independente se esta ou não acima da velocidade.
   2- Está idéia agora já é mais ambiciosa, vcs poderiam fazer um mapeamento com imagem aumentada, por exemplo:
   - Vcs tem todo o mapeamento, o que já é mais que meio caminho andado, utilizando de alguns cálculos vc conseguiriam projetar as imagens no vidro do carro dando uma nitidez muito boa na condução, principalmente em neblinas, chuva e ou escuridão.
   Este sistema terá a necessidade de criar um dispositivo para isto porém com certeza pode ser usado um celular para isto.
   OBS: Inclusive para um futuro vcs podem identificar carros próximos, ajudando assim avisos de proximidade entre veículos, colisão ajudando assim empresas de seguros e atropelamentos se neste caso o indivíduo que estiver com o celular ativo no aplicativo seja identificado pelo motorista.
   3-Auxílio para deficientes auditivos e visuais, por exemplo:
   - Auditivos, quando for atravessar uma rua o celular vibraria avisando que um carro ou moto estaria próximo desta pessoa.
   - Visual, este por si só já é um projeto mais ambicioso até mesmo do que a projeção aumentada, o deficiente visual andaria com o waze, porém a diferença entre o que já existe hj é que ele auxiliaria em atravecias de ruas. Imagina a publicidade que isto daria...
   4-Vcs poderiam acrescentar uma haba chamada planeje suas viagens, por exemplo se eu quiser ir de onde moro até uma rua em São José do Rio Preto, eu passaria o endereço o waze me mostraria as paradas o custo do trajeto com pedágios, os restaurantes no caminho é neste caso os pontos onde posso parar para abastecer, outro exemplo seria por exemplo como faço a cada 150Km eu faço uma parada sendo assim eu poderia decidir qual posta eu pararia no caminho o wase...

   Napolean Dynamite Voice. I have a friend named Mark and he comes into the bar where I work in Long Island , Floral Park NY. He sounds just like Napolean Dynamite from the movie. 10. Option to type custom planned arrival time

    Would it be possible to add an arrival time that is off of the quarter hour? As strange as it sounds, I would like to know my departure time for a 3:05 pm arrival - for example. The estimated travel time can revert to being based on the closest (or ceiling/floor) quarter hour's prediction. But it would be helpful to have the alert be based on my actual time to leave.

11. Bathroom Locator Idea

    I love Waze and use it every time I drive. But I had an app idea of my own that I wanted to start up. I want to create an app that shows where bathrooms are because one of the hardest things on a long road trip is finding bathrooms on the way. But I really think this idea could be incorporated into Waze rather than an entirely separate app. My idea is that you would compile data where all the bathrooms are and as people use them, they rate how clean they were. Then once you have ratings in, you can send an update that gives you two options: I need a bathroom ASAP and I don’t care how far off my route it is or how low the rating is and two, I need to use the bathroom but I can wait until I find one on the route and with a higher rating. The ASAP button would be red and the “I can wait” button would be green. When you choose either button, the map automatically recalculates and adds the bathroom detour to your route. Then you rate the bathroom 1-5 stars and get back on the road. I know this idea sounds silly but it’s actually really practical for road trips or long highway driving.

12. Option to set how many seconds before event like police, i get the vocal notification and pls add voice commands!

    An option for the vocal+icon notification customizable... Also an option to set 2 notifications if i want for police reports... So i can have one like 30s before and then another 10s before or 2km away. Sometimes by the time i hear the notification i have to break too hard to be able to stop before the police radar can see me. And they can record 1km away! Also an option to have on the screen customizable icons... Like i would want to have 3 icons so i can easily report police or a pothole or a dead animal... By the time i press report, then select which type of event, while goin 140kmh on the kighway, i am at least one km away from the place i wanted to mark as a pothole. And yes in Romania we have potholes in the brand new highways lol. Let us have a row of icons on the screen, and put how many we want or none... and with a 1 click direct action that we can set there. Like a taskbar. The more seconds u have to watch the screen while driving, the more the safety level goes down :( also please make talking with waze available and optional. I want to say hey waze report here a pothole and not even watch the screen for even a second.

14. Incrementar la distancia de las alertas

    Sería posible implementar en versiones futuras una opción para poder incrementar en la que te alerte de policías y accidentes ya que los radares de policía te pueden tomar la velocidad a 2 kilómetros y las alertas recién te avisan a 1 kilometro

15. Police helicopter or drone alarm nearby.

    In some countries the police use speed radars installed on helicopters or drones. The idea is simple, when a wazer reports that warning it reaches drivers within 15 or 20 kilometers of that report. This would contribute to safer driving.

16. Button to constantly beep if I'm always over the speed limit. Button in same speed zone to beep when over then under and over again.

    You have it set up so that I can press a button and have a sound happen if I go over the speed limit by whatever miles per hour I like which I like. The problem is once I go over that speed limit range in that zone (Zone = same street without a speed limit change). If I go under and then go back over it, it does not beep again. So I don't know if I'm going over the speed limit. Can you please put a request for improvement and put more buttons there that will make it so that it'll constantly beep if I'm always over the speed limit.

    And another button if I go under the speed limit in the same speed limit zone that it will beep again if I go over again.

    I'd like more selection because different people have different preferences.

    This can potentially save people from having tickets, save injuries, save many lives and save property damage. Including how is reading this with other drivers on the road.

    To Waze, Please copy and paste this whole thing for context for a request for improvement.

17. Advise of signals, radars, police... with Waze as backup with no direction typed

    I’ve created a shortcut that opens Waze automatically when it connects to my Apple Car.
    However, I’d like it to warn me about road hazards automatically while driving, without setting a destination or manually inputting anything — just running in the background.

18. Add an emergency broadcast system for active shooter nearby

    My kids go to a TX university where they have a fairly robust emergency broadcast system for students who opt into the service. They are texted when 'authorities' (there are validation cycles/sources) have determined an emergency situation is in process notifying students of an active situation (either active shooter or lockdown for violent person escape/at large).

    I know Waze does have some features with other traffic or EMS emergency notification features, but I think there might be a valid case to use the Government and Public Safety alert systems for people who are within a mile of an active shooter situation. (Or whatever distance). If verified information through Emergency systems tracked to GPS on mobile phones and apps, an emergency alert should sound displaying the map location where the activity is taking place.

    Sadly, it has come to the point in this country when going shopping or to a concert may involve an emergency situation. Waze has some available technology to build out this idea quickly (I believe) and also has business relationships with other companies to send emergency messages through devices if the Waze app is not open.

20. New look

    Waze was great in overall but recent "refresh" made it undrivable. Car icon is covered with streets names, then when you get to complicated junctions, street names cover the actual streets and you're left guessing, which might be pretty dangerous with traffic around you. When you get any notification (radar, police, obstruction etc) the box with the name of the street you're on goes up and, yes, you don't see your car icon. If you're on the street with long name, you won't see car icon or actual streets around cause blue box with the name blocks the view. I don't need a street name I'm supposed to turn into on the actual map since it's already on the top of the screen. It's simply unnecessary bloating of the screen. If the name of the street I'm on needs to be under the car icon it should stay under. You need to move the car icon up together with the street name so I can easily see the junction I'm entering. Recent rearrangement of the view the route/show possible routes didn't make me happy either, preferred the old system since I only had to do one click to see current route, and then one click to go back to map if I was happy with the situation. Now I have to click show possible routes, and if I'm happy click to go back to the route, then map reactivates (god knows what for since it takes extra while), then click again to get to the actual map. But this, at least, is not making me look at the screen while entering full blown traffic junction to figure out (and try to guess actually) which turn I'm taking.
