No need to show the route I have ALREADY travelled, just the part I am going to travel
I got really confused for a bit today when somehow I was looking at where I had ALREADY travelled. There is no need to show the part of the route I already traversed. There is only the need to show where I am going.

New road segment for yields
Currently the routing algorithm assigns a penalty where ever a junction is located in the editor. I believe no penalty should be assigned to a junction with a connecting yield segment, as traffic typically isn't slowed down at these junctions. I believe that creating a new yield road type segment would improve routing accuracy. I've seen many URs that could have been prevented if such a segment already existed. A junction with signal lights should not be treated the same as a junction with a yield.

Disallow all undriverable from being connected to roads to prevent routing errors
Walking trails, boardwalks, stairwell (why does this exist) and railroads SHOULD NOT be permitted to be connected to a junction point on a highway, primary road, street, service road or ramp. By preventing the different types from being connected, it should prevent any routing errors from driveable segments onto non-driveable segments.

Suggestion to generate more value and Products in Waze company.
Hi Man,
There are some GPS like Garmin that offer a traffic information by radio in real time, but the information that they provide is not so real time like the Wase information. I suggest you to sell this service to the final customers or to Garmin and another GPS companies. It will generate a new way to gain money at Waze company. Another interesting thing is to sell them the information of POIs and general informations like radar, accidents, etc with radio update. I'm sure that is a easy way to generate more value to your company. Best regards,…1 voteThanks for your feedback. Ability to declare a suggested route bad
Sometimes Waze suggests routes that are so bad as to be cringe worthy. It would be nice to to be able to report them for review.

To be able to fix a destination by a button " Target GPS " when we arrive at destination?
It would be interesting to be able to fix a destination by a button " Target GPS " when we arrive at the destination with WAZE. In this manner, we could very precisely memorize a point of arrival in the favourites.
What do you think about it?

Why can't I drive the different routes I wish to use for work, whilst recording the route with something similar to the pave roads option.
Why can't I drive the different routes I wish to use for work, whilst recording the route with something similar to the pave roads option. i.e before I start driving turn "route recording mode" on. I drive so many times to my job but EVERY time it tells me to take a ever so slightly different route, that I know takes longer. I am being patient, i have been told it will learn my route eventually, but I can imagine that lots of people will get frustrated and leave Waze very quickly by this situation.
I'm sure that if more…

Show all villages in Israel "behind the green line"
In Israel, I drive a lot in the area that has been marked a "behind the green line". All roads are marked well in this area, and so are Jewish settlements are indicated well on the map. I would like to have the names of the Arab villages that I pass along the road mentioned on the map. That helps for orientation purposes.

No service for xxx miles.
When entering a rural road or roads that cross in the middle of nowhere, typically you will see a sign that says, "No services for 20 miles" It would be cool if waze would warn you the same, or if you enter that road from another spot down the way, waze could say " No service for 18 miles to the right" I suppose in map editor you could highlight a section of road where no services exist for long distances and tag it as a no services road.

Not there outside routing
We need an option to report "Not There" on incidents, even if it's not on the planned route. Now it's only possible when a popup comes up for the planned route. The "Not There" option should be present on any popup when clicking on an incident icon, even if it's on the other lane or outside the planned route, but within viewing distance.

Holiday lights
People can nominate and submit pictures of their house decorated with holiday lights (can be Halloween, Christmas, Hanukkah, etc). Then when someone uses Waze to drive they can chose to drive a way that takes them through the house holiday lights or take a route just to look at Christmas lights. I think people would love this!

Head up display
My car has a headup display (Mazda cx5), the exits from roundabouts are poorly indicated, it always shows a left turn, you cannot see the exit. The recommended lane is not indicated either (with Google Maps it does indicate it)
