Prevent drivers from spamming map editors with update requests (URs)
Waze volunteer map editors have, over a number of years, have raised concerns about the ability for app users, whether intentionally or unintentionally, to submit a high volume of map update requests through the app and other sources. This issue has been consistently raised by volunteer editors at all levels, including editors, area managers, state and country managers, as well as local and global champs who are on the ground editing the map daily. Use the Bluetooth mesh for alerts when there is no internet connection (like Bitchat)
Using Bluetooth mesh technology to create a network where each device sends an alert to the next device, until one of the devices is connected to the internet and that alert is sent to the network. Just like it's done with the Bitchat app.
Many times we drive a very long stretch without internet access, and important events happen on the road that we need other drivers to see. Make the Map Team replies detect the prefer language of the user to send the first message in the user language
Hi, i have noticed that the " Map Team " messages are all in English as default. it would be good if the Map Team can detect the prefer language of the user, and send the message in their prefer language. User Report: option to share destination
Editors often receive User Reports (URs) categorized as “map issue” that actually refer to problems with the route suggested by Waze to the destination.
However, editors currently have no way of knowing which destination the user entered in the app, which makes it difficult - and sometimes impossible - to properly analyze the reported issue.
I fully understand the privacy concerns involved. Still, I suggest offering users, on an optional basis, the ability to share their destination when submitting a UR, especially in cases related to “incorrect address” or “incorrect instructions.”

If you could punish users for placing false reports or remove there ability for reports especially if there not logged in with a account plus after say two false reports remove there report ability plus have it so a user can't make a report then like the same report it would be appreciated

Replace unintuitive “not there” button symbol
When people are driving, symbols need to be instantly recognizable. For example, most of the report icons on the initial report display meet that requirement.
But when driving and you come across something like a partner feed alert and the app wants more info, the “not there” icon option is a stylized… purple and red, what?.. gloved?.. thumbs down hand that doesn’t intuitively convey “NO” and does not match the style theme of the other app icons. Road closures
To have the option to post road closures in either direction. For example if heading north bound and see a road closure southbound or if stationary to be able to post road closures, instead of only having option to post about road closures depending on what the gps says what direction it thinks I’m traveling

Report temporary traffic lights using MapMate should generate a roadworks hazard not a UR
In the UK, when we have roadworks with an incursion onto the carriageway, they are often accompanied by temporary multi-way traffic lights. This allows the road to remain open, while controlling traffic flow over a narrow than normal bit of open road.
Since the introduction of MapMate reporting, we have noticed an increase in MapMate URs coming in referring to the presence of temporary traffic lights. This should not generate a UR, and should generate a "roadworks" hazard report.

Lane-specific pothole alerts (show which lane the pothole is in)
A feature that allows users to report what lane a pothole (or other hazard) is in so that drivers can avoid hazards, vehicle damage, or bottlenecks in traffic that can happen as new vehicles approach the hazard and attempt to minimize impact.

Hazard Alert - Animal on Road
Could there please be some sort of function within Waze that could give the user the opportunity to report deceased animals along the road so that the competent entities could come and collect them? Or even for pets that were just run down for a vet to come or something? Could it be connected to automatically give the competent entities the location of the animal? Road Surface Hazard (Partial or Full Road Flagging)
Dear Waze Team,
I would like to suggest enhancing the hazard reporting feature by allowing users to flag either a portion or an entire road as having poor surface conditions (e.g., full of potholes or severe degradation), instead of reporting only individual potholes.
In many areas, road damage is not limited to a single spot but affects continuous segments or even the whole road. Reporting individual potholes in these situations does not accurately reflect the overall driving experience and may underestimate the level of discomfort or risk.

Can we have a report for Highways Agency under the police section. That are too many false reports for police when it is just Highways Agency going about their day, but it is important to know when HA are around as they can cause hazards

Report Pavement Marking conditions
Allow users to report whether the road pavement marking lines are faded, missing, or incorrect. This is especially important at night. Ideally this would also send an aggregated report to the city, county, or state to fix it!
