POLICE STATION button right on the opening screen, just like the yellow triangle report button.
I was involved in a very dangerous road rage incident. Just as you can quickly hit the yellow triangle to report "what do you see", you NEED to be able to press a POLICE STATION button just as fast on the main screen. That way you can drive to the nearest police station ASAP. It would be a great help as I needed my eyes to be on the road and focused on the car that was trying its best to bash into my car with my family in it. He chased us for miles trying to run us off…

Display addresses (street + house number) according to regional settings
The app assumes wrongly all countries display addresses like Americans do, like first the house number and then the street number, but in fact most Western countries use it the other way around:
Street name + house number
It seems Waze is American-centred as there is strangely enough after all these years no option to simply adhere to the local customs a country has.

Screen is brighter on iPhone compared to Samsung
I own both an iPhone 14 and a Samsung Galaxy A34. When using Waze I've noticed the screen is brighter on the iPhone compared to the Samsung. I use the Samsung on my motorcycle but can barely see the screen in daylight. The Samsung I believe has a max brightness of 1009 nits. I have both devices set to auto brightness.

Special preferences for Waze Volunteer Editors
I suggest special preferences for Waze Volunteer Editors for both recognition of Volunteer Editors and also benefit to Waze. Sort of like Mood characters for Editors as a reward. But in this case it would be for the benefit of Waze operations and easier reports.
- Make it possible to place "Report Map Problem" first in the list since we are constantly scanning for map improvements.
- Make it possible to preload the Report contents with Editor information. Example, I like to prefix my notes with [Note: Sr-Navi-Gator report] and then follow with what ever I am reporting. This way other editors…

Gas price info
Gas price info is often out-of-date, even if I have submitted an update several days ago. Changes are not always reflected. I know that in Israel, like many countries, the gas prices are set by the govt, and change only once a month. Here in the USA, though, prices often change daily or even a few times a day, because of open competition. Over the past month, I've submitted several updates that were never reported out, leaving info in place that was days or weeks old. Is there any way to push the updates out in a more timely manner?

Underpass
Is it possible to have occasional small notes placed on the map that are associate with things like underpasses? I have an underpass near me that’s 12-feet 2-inches high and prevents quite a few delivery vehicles from accessing my neighborhood via that route. It is appropriate rendered as an underpass on the map, but it would be great if there was an annotation that gave the information. Something like “12’ 2” underpass” would be fantastic. Thank you for keeping Waze awesome.

Speed limit announcement
It would be nice if speed limits on the motorways could already be announced in advance (with distance information, e.g. 120 km/h in 800 m). I got to know and love this function in Sygic Car Navigation...
This saves fuel and brakes...

I plan my own routes and would like to be able to input that into WAZE and have WAZE sync that route with Android Auto.

Buy Gas Buddy and merge the apps!
Your gas price functionality is not useful, inaccurate, etc. It would be awesome if you and Gas Buddy merged into one single app. Best Gas Prices along route would be the best feature ever!

Provide Cost for Dynamic Toll Roads
When a suggested route includes a toll that has flexible prices based on other factors, please provide the cost for the toll for that route. For example, in and around Washington, DC, there are several toll roads that have flexible prices based on traffic, time of day, etc. It would be useful when selecting when to use a route with one of those tolls if Waze could provide us the amount we will be charged for the suggested route.

Use phone's music apps like Samsung Music in Waze instead of streaming apps like Spotify
At the moment we can only use streaming services with Waze, rather than using our phone's built in media players to play music saved to our phone.
This is really impractical for long drives - I lose mobile signal all the time when I'm driving between towns and cities, and streaming services are no good for that
Also, streaming services are usually no good unless you pay for a premium version, otherwise you are constantly jarred by adverts
As it stands, I constantly have to touch my phone screen while driving, to switch between Waze and my local music player…3 votes -
Remaining travel time instead of toll value
If there are tolls involved on the route, its being showed the toll value instead of the remaining travel time. It should always show the remaining travel time or there should be an options to choose what to show.

Weitere Routen Vorschläge
es wäre echt super, wenn folgte zwei Route Vorschläge Hinzugefügt werden würden.
1. Dass man oft der jeweiligen Route die Anzahl der Ampeln sehen kann.
2. Dass man eventuelle Voraussichtliche Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit für die jeweiligen Routen sehen kann. Angenommen, ich befinde mich auf der westlichen Seite der Stadt und möchte nach Norden fahren und hab die Auswahl durch die Innenstadt zu fahren, welche eventuell kürzer ist und ich hab die Möglichkeit außerhalb der Stadt zu fahren, die eventuell ein paar Kilometer länger ist aber weniger Ampeln und eine höhere Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit erlauben würde.
Es muss ja auch nicht aktuell sein, sondern Es…1 vote -

Baustelle auf der A7 HH
Hallo liebes Waze Team,
aktuell bekomme ich ständig fragen, ob die Baustelle auf der A7 noch da ist. Die ganze Strecke von Bahrenfeld bis Harburg-Heimfeld ist beidseitig eine einzige laaaaange Baustelle. Könntet ihr das bitte so hinterlegen?
