1. Get Joe Arden to do the voice narration for navigation.

   I am a member of Joe's social media and he said in front of a couple hundred people on a live that he would love to do the live narration for your platform he has a huge following and is incredible and he would probably bring all the users to Waze to hear him tell them what to do on the road.

2. Feature request: Improved lane guidance in instrument cluster / HUD

   I’m using Waze on a BMW 420 (2025, G26), and I’ve noticed a limitation when displaying navigation in the instrument cluster.

   When approaching exits or roads with multiple gradual splits, the arrow indicates the direction, but it doesn’t clearly show which lane or side to keep. This makes it difficult to follow navigation using only the cockpit display.

   On the main screen, lane guidance is much clearer — it shows multiple lanes and highlights exactly which one to take (e.g., far-left lane). This is very helpful and improves driving confidence.

   It would be great to have the same lane-level guidance in the instrument cluster.

   Additionally, if possible, projecting lane guidance arrows to the head-up display (HUD) would significantly improve usability and safety.

   This would allow drivers to rely on the cockpit/HUD navigation and use the main screen for other information.

   In my case, I was driving on a highway with a split into multiple exits.

   On the instrument cluster, the navigation only showed a simple arrow and the route line, but it was unclear whether I should keep left or right, as the road was splitting gradually into several lanes.

   At the same time, on the main screen, Waze clearly displayed lane guidance — showing multiple lanes and indicating exactly which lane to follow.

   Because of this difference, it is difficult to rely only on the instrument cluster, especially in complex junctions or highway exits.

   Clear lane guidance (like on the main screen) is needed in the instrument cluster and ideally also in the head-up display.

4. Product Gap

   Limiting routes to only one stop is a major usability gap—most navigation apps support multiple stops, and this is a basic expectation, especially for Android Auto users.

   Also, the inability to edit destinations after adding a stop and the lack of address visibility for saved contacts are functional limitations, not feature requests.

   This impacts real-world usage like errands, deliveries, or multi-stop trips. It reduces Waze’s practicality compared to competitors.

   Please confirm if these are actively being worked on or planned. Redirecting to the suggestion box doesn’t resolve the current usability problems.

5. Modification urgente sécurité

   Bonjour, quand on utilise Waze avec le CarPlay les indications de navigation visuel pastille ( direction) ne peuvent pas être désactiver elle revienne tout les trois seconde quand on sors de l’application et causse des beug. Moi personnellement j’utilise seulement la navigation vocal. Il faudrait vraiment rajouter une modification pour supprimer la navigation visuelle et les pastille récurente qui peuvent être dangereux car ça déconcentre et ça énerve. Merci

6. Turning alert frequency

   add a way for us to choose how often the navigator tells us to turn, i hate hearing it at 400m then 200m then just before i have to turn, id much rather be able to choose to have it at 400m and then 100m.

7. Reporting Accurate Traffic Conditions

   Make reporting traffic a ONE touch menu option.
   .
   Make it possible to press a "Traffic" icon (placed on the side of the nav screen), and then have the choices, Light, Moderate, Heavy, STOP AND GO, Stand Still.
   A Visible Icon placed on the display makes it quick and easy rather than pressing the yellow hazard icon and then traffic and then the level of traffic, etc.. it's cumbersome and dangerous to be distracted that much while driving and reporting.
   ONE button for Traffic, then ONE button press Traffic cond level, done! Fast and Simple

   Waze does not seem to take traffic Jams into account when posting arrival times. Sitting in traffic it just adds minutes to your arrival rather than adding a jam to the arrival time.

9. 14 proposals for improving Waze maps. Part.3

   Proposal 9: Courier mode

   This mode has just one option. The driver arrives at the loading depot and loads packages onto the van. The order of the packages doesn't matter. They open the app and click the Courier mode option; a window appears where they speak to the phone with their voice, and the phone writes down the text, filling in the address where the shipment is to be delivered. Then they click the save button and add another shipment, and so on until they have entered all shipments. Finally, after entering all shipments, they click the done button or "create route". The navigation analyses and arranges the points on the route, ordering them from the closest point to the loading depot to the farthest. There could also be another option: arranging the route from the farthest point to the closest to the loading depot. There could also be another possibility: after entering the clients, the driver manually moves the points in the navigation, creating the route order themselves. After entering, the navigation creates the route, and the driver doesn't have to worry about anything except delivering the packages to the destination. It would be good if for each client you could manually enter a short note in a text field, e.g., intercom code 545, or the client's second phone number because the first isn't always available. Whenever they drive to the same client, they will always be able to recall what they noted.

   In this way, the courier has a great help in delivering shipments from point to point. In practice, it often looks like this: a driver from another city delivers packages around another city or rural area that they don't know. Such an option would make their work much easier. Sometimes a driver leaves a company and gets hired by a competing company. A replacement who comes in for the courier could receive a file with the saved client database for their area. If such an option existed in your navigation, courier guys could often exchange client databases, making their work easier. Sometimes such a client database would be useful in a new courier company. Not only couriers could use such an option, but also delivery drivers.

   Proposal 10: Railway crossings

   When a driver approaches a railway crossing, the navigation would say: "Railway crossing in 200 metres", and at that moment an image with a railway crossing icon would appear for 5 seconds, then disappear. The Waze navigation app has this option, and it's the only one among other navigation apps that has it, but as I said, it's very poorly updated, and forum posts about updating new points are from 2023. That speaks for itself. You have railway tracks drawn on your map, but constantly looking at the map distracts attention from the road, so it's better to hear a voice announcement and see a pop-up image.

   Proposal 11: Built-up area

   On the road, when the navigation detects a built-up area, it would inform with the message: "Built-up area, reduce speed." And after passing through: "End of built-up area."

   Proposal 12: Weather along the route

   You are planning a long trip. When you leave home, the weather is sunny, but 50 km further along your route, the weather has changed and it's raining. The navigation would inform you of the weather change with a voice message or a small cloud-with-raindrops icon on your route. The navigation would draw weather information from, for example, OpenWeatherMap, AccuWeather, Weatherbit, Visual Crossing.

   Suggested messages:

   "In about 50 kilometres, rain is expected."

   "In 50 kilometres, the temperature will drop below zero, possible snow and black ice."

   "In 80 kilometres, dense fog is forecast; visibility may drop below 100 metres."

   Proposal 13: Driver fatigue

   If the algorithm detects that the driver has been driving non-stop for 2 hours or 4 hours, the navigation says firmly: "You are tired, take a rest." Or a shorter message: "Time for a break and coffee."

   Rationale: For ordinary (non-professional) drivers, the safe limit is 150–200 km non-stop (approx. 1.5–2 hours at typical highway speeds of 100 km/h). For professional drivers, the non-stop limit is 4 hours – after 4 hours, a rest period is required.
   After 1 hour: first signs of fatigue (reduced attention, blinking, neck pain).
   After 2 hours: mandatory 10-15 minute break to stretch, drink coffee, use the toilet – best every 100–150 km.
   Longer than 2 hours: risk of microsleep, reaction time reduced by 50%, comparable to a blood alcohol level of 0.5‰.
   Such an option would be enabled in the navigation before setting off on a journey. Of course, such an option would not be useful for truck drivers – they have their own rules – but for bus drivers with a category "B" licence who deliver goods abroad, or for ordinary people.

   Proposal 15: (Note: Proposal 14 is missing in original, but numbering preserved)

   The navigation has an extensive fuel station (CPN) option. After clicking on the fuel station icon, the icon expands, and within it you can add an option for fuel prices: 95, 98, Adblue, Diesel, gas. To keep prices up to date, I see two solutions:

   Option one: users themselves update fuel prices. The reward for their effort could be a free navigation subscription for a whole year.

   Option two: integrate the navigation with a professional, commercial fuel data API (e.g., OPISNAVX or TomTom). This provides a ready-made, reliable, and up-to-date database that works "out of the box", saving the costs and problems associated with collecting data yourself. For the navigation to display such prices, you need an API key and documentation from the chosen provider. I recommend starting by checking the offerings of OPISNAVX or TomTom, as these are proven solutions in the industry.

   That's all from me in terms of proposals for a good navigation app. From my side, I will say that you really are at a high level and have a chance to break ahead of other navigation apps. I am testing your navigation and I am very satisfied with it.

    Proposal 5: Special route

    On the roads, users report places where police patrols most often station, where average speed measurement sections are located, and where speed cameras are located. Based on these reports, after selecting the "SPECIAL ROUTE" option in the navigation, a special route will be created designed to avoid these critical points. The route may sometimes be longer, but it would not direct the driver onto roads that pass through such locations.

    Proposal 6: Road activity

    This feature turns navigation from a reporting tool into an intelligent real-time risk assessment system that also helps drivers during police checks. You turn on the "other users on the road" option. The navigation shows the density of active drivers (e.g., red dots), exact positions of people currently using our navigation. The range for seeing other users is within a radius of up to 2 km. Using your navigation, I can count on quick alerts – for example, a police patrol, accident, and so on. When the navigation shows me that there are few or no participants on the road, I know I need to increase my vigilance. The data is anonymous – I only see the number of active drivers within a 2 km radius. The navigation would have an "invisible" option – it would not display the user on the road as a red dot but would allow them to use the app without affecting the statistics visible to others. I then know that there is some user, but they don't want to appear as a point on the map. After turning on this mode, the app informs you immediately after startup that there are, for example, 10 active drivers, including 1 invisible. In my opinion, this is a super feature – it should be mandatory in every navigation app. If your navigation were the only one on the market, there would be no problem, but drivers use different navigation apps, mostly Yanosik and Google Maps. The Waze navigation app has such an option, but the app itself seems to have stopped being developed because there are many map errors, making it troublesome to use.

    Proposal 7: Convoy mode

    You invite friends to join you, or they invite you to join them. You create a group of cars, for example up to 10 cars. You see them on the map, and your friends see you. You travel in your own cars to a common destination, and every so often the navigation says: "Vehicle V1 is 100 m behind you, vehicle V2 is 1 km behind you, vehicle V3 is 10 m behind you." The navigation could give voice announcements at times when the road is straight and it wouldn't conflict with other navigation instructions. In the navigation, you can set how often (in seconds or minutes) such a voice report appears. The navigation also informs you if a vehicle has left the planned route or if a vehicle has stopped. On the route, vehicles would be labelled V1, V2, V3, with colours to choose from. This is a great option when you are going somewhere together on a trip.

    Proposal 8: Security guard mode

    It has just one option: creating a customer database in the navigation with the ability to save it to a file, and later upload it back into the navigation in case of phone damage or phone reinstallation.

    I'll give an example: A group of security guards receives a call from the commander that an alarm has gone off at facility "X" and they need to go there. A new employee has been hired but has no idea where the facility is, but somehow they manage to find the place. They save the route in our navigation, thus creating a customer database, with the ability to write and attach notes and various information. Each response trip makes their job easier. Later, they can export such a customer database with access routes to a file. When an employee wants to leave the job, they can "pass" this file to their successor, making the colleague's job easier. Such a file can be loaded into the navigation. Remembering a database containing, say, 250 protected facilities is quite a feat, even for a young driver. Please consider how much work you could relieve someone by creating such an option.

    Navigation improvement proposals

    People naturally strive for convenience, a sense of control, and safety, because these make travel easier, safer, and more enjoyable. Additional features turn a boring commute into a little adventure or at least a less stressful experience. New features spark curiosity and loyalty – users like testing out "gadgets". When navigation offers more than the competition (e.g., border zone alerts, a country flag, voice notes), they are more likely to recommend it and stick with it longer.

    1] Proposal: Adding a note to a completed route!

    Rationale: After completing a route, a window with a text field appears where I can type a note from the keyboard and save comments, for example: intercom code: 12345, or I need to remember not to go into the yard because there's a loose dog running around, or the house keys are with the neighbour. In my opinion, this is a very nice improvement, because maps aren't always accurate in navigation, and before they get updated, it's worth jotting down some comments about the approach or other important things. Such notes don't make sense when I'm going to a place occasionally; they make sense when I frequently travel to a given point or place, e.g., a delivery driver supplying a store. I can read the note before setting off or after reaching the destination. The note does not burden the phone's or navigation's memory.

    2] Proposal: A message before setting off on a route!

    Rationale: After setting a route in the navigation, a message appears covering the entire navigation screen with the text: Turn on your lights, fasten your seatbelt, don't drink and drive, don't talk on the phone while driving. The message can be dismissed by clicking the OK button, and the screen disappears, unlocking the route. The message can also be completely disabled in the navigation settings, but it should be buried somewhere in the settings so that it's not easily found – only so that the on-screen message serves as a reminder; it might annoy drivers a bit, but as a professional navigation app, you want to care about the safety of others, which is why you introduce it. People get many fines precisely for these things – the message is a form of prevention, a reminder for the driver. Of course, you also need to remember that the "turn on your lights" option will apply in all countries where driving with lights on is mandatory all day. Of course, you could additionally include three other reminders: check the oil, check the tyre pressure, check if you have a spare wheel. Many people forget about such things in the rush of tasks and responsibilities.

    3] Proposal: Border or voivodeship/region boundary alert

    Rationale: A border alert makes sense in navigation for those drivers who are planning a route outside their own country. Otherwise, this reminder will not be active. Example: a driver from Czechoslovakia (sic – probably meant Czech Republic/Slovakia, but keep as is or correct? I'll keep as in original: Czechoslovakia) is planning a road trip to Spain. When they are 15 km from the border, the navigation says: "Border zone, 15 km to crossing the state border." Additionally, before, after, or during this announcement, an image appears on the screen showing a border graphic and the text "Border zone 15 km", which displays for 5 seconds and then disappears. Further on... When the driver approaches the border crossing to a distance of 6 km, the navigation says: "6 km to crossing the border, prepare your documents for inspection." For users who do not cross the state border but find themselves in the border zone, a message/image will appear on the navigation with the text "Border zone" that will last 5 seconds, and the navigation will say: "Border zone."

    In the case of a border with a country where the border crossing has no customs clearance and is a free passage, for example the town of Piwniczna, the navigation will say: "6 km to crossing the border." After crossing into a given country, the flag of that country would appear on the navigation for 5 seconds with the text: Germany or Poland or France, and then without a voice announcement.

    For these alerts, you don't need to rigidly stick to the guidelines that it's exactly 6 km or 15 km to crossing the border. You need to account for other navigation instructions, e.g., turn right, go straight. The border zone and border crossing alert would appear at a distance where, for example, the road is straight and the navigation would not conflict with other instructions it is giving.

    Voivodeship boundary alert

    Rationale: In Poland, there are voivodeships; in Japan, prefectures; in the USA, states; in other countries, regions. A Polish driver lives in the Małopolskie Voivodeship and enters another voivodeship. At the moment of entering another voivodeship, the navigation says: "Łódzkie Voivodeship" or "Podkarpackie Voivodeship". Of course, the alert would appear at a time so as not to conflict with other navigation instructions. Additionally, an image would appear on the map showing the coat of arms of the given voivodeship for 5 seconds when the navigation says: "Welcome to Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship." The programmer would have to incorporate this into the navigation on some straight section after crossing the voivodeship boundary. Below is a website with Polish voivodeship coats of arms.

    Proposal 4: Traffic light timing clock

    Not all drivers know that when driving through city streets, traffic lights are synchronised with other lights at different intersections. This message would make sense in places where there are traffic lights. When entering a city and stopping at the first lights or approaching lights, the navigation, knowing the route, informs the driver with a message: "Drive at 50 km/h and you'll hit green at every light." The navigation can show the optimal speed or tell you what speed to maintain to get green at every intersection. This not only saves fuel but also reduces stress. Such an option can be added to the navigation and can be set before starting the journey to provide information at the lights.

12. problem with the transfer iphone to screen car

    Hello,
    I just installed iOS version 26.4.2, and since then, when I connect my iPhone to my 2020 Honda Civic and launch the Waze app, the map no longer appears on my car's screen, only on my iPhone.
    Am I the only one experiencing this, and is there a suggestion to fix it? If not, do you plan to find a solution to get the app to display on my car's screen again?

13. problem with the transfer iphone to screen car

    I just installed iOS version 26.4.2, and since then, when I connect my iPhone to my 2020 Honda Civic and launch the Waze app, the map no longer appears on my car's screen, only on my iPhone.

    App muito pesado trava direto. Sou motorista de app e o app geralmente nao é confiavel, te manda por rotas perigosas e onde nao passa carro. Aponta escadarias como ruas, vielas que nao passa moto indica como rua. A restricao de nao usar ruas de terra simplesmente nao funciona.

    Sou um usuário frequente do Waze e realmente aprecio os recursos do aplicativo, especialmente a navegação e os alertas em tempo real durante a condução.

    Gostaria de sugerir uma nova funcionalidade que pode melhorar significativamente a segurança e a praticidade: uma melhor integração entre o Waze e smartwatches em geral.

    Ideia da funcionalidade:
    Durante a navegação, alertas importantes — especialmente alertas de radares — poderiam ser enviados diretamente para o smartwatch como notificações com vibração (haptic), sem que o motorista precise olhar para o celular.

    Por que isso é importante:

    • Aumenta a segurança ao reduzir a necessidade de olhar para o telefone
    • Fornece alertas discretos e imediatos através da vibração no pulso
    • Melhora a experiência geral do usuário

    Sugestões adicionais:

    • Diferentes padrões de vibração para cada tipo de alerta (radar, polícia, perigos)
    • Exibição da distância até o alerta (ex: “Radar a 300 m”)

    Add a short blurb to apple carplay navigation when an exit is being changed from what is expected, like due to accident, due to construction, due to congestion, due to time savings, etc… today I was on a trip and I knew the exit to get off of, but I also knew the exit was under construction Waze told me to get off one exit earlier, but with no reason as to why if I did not know that was under construction I probably would’ve bypassed what Waze was advising and then found out the hard way.

18. Zone scolaire

    Je vois qu'il y a des zones scolaires indiqué sur des routes à Ottawa, comment pouvons-nous signaler pour ajouter sur les routes côté Gatineau QC et ailleurs dans la province? Souvent ces zones sont en vigueur 10 mois de l'année et seulement entre 7:00 et 17:00. Ça rendrait ces zones plus sécuritaire (au cas où le conducteur a manqué la signalisation / pancarte) et du coup éviterait aussi de recevoir un constat d'infraction routier.

19. multicolor traject controlled side bar

    The side bar appearing when you are in a speed controlled zone (traject control) is always green. If the average speed of this zone is 70 can the app constantly calculate your speed and keep the bar green when you are in this average speed but turn yellow when you reach 70 and red when you cross the average speed (71-up) so you know you need to slow down to stay on the average speed, or you have room to speed up a little when you had to stop for any reason without overspeeding the average speed.

20. لماذا لا يتم تلقائيا اضافة المطبات او الحفر او اماكن الصيانة من خلال تكرار توقف اكثر من ١٥ مركبة تمر بنفس النقطة

    Why are bumps, potholes, or maintenance sites not automatically added when more than 15 vehicles repeatedly stop or become slower at the same point in the roads?
