1. sharing location even if waze is off makes many people not use it at all... that should change i think ...

   Having some companies like google or Facebook in mind i think lots of people will not use waze because it uses your location even when not on. Too be honest - i do not use any app that will use/send any data while not being even activated...

3. Routine reminders/notifications/alarms

   Along the lines of alarms... for repeated trips (like commuting) it would be great if Waze could alert you of potential delays and/or suggest you leave earlier for daily commute if it is seeing traffic/construction/etc.

4. Alarms instead of notifications

   I love the "Later" option for planning trips but the reminder notifications go missed quite often. A few options would be great.
   1. Make a Calendar event (or part of an existing one) so that reminder alarms can be used based on your default settings. If it would adjust to 15 mins (or user determined) before you need to leave that would be awesome.
   2. Allow the user to set the time before you need to leave... getting a reminder saying "Leave Now" is not realistic... let us decide how much time we need before the "leave by" time.
   3. Allow the option to set an alarm using the clock app

6. Instead of during phone call mute yes/no, offer more options: no muting, mute notifications, shortened directions, audible signal, mute all

   Instead of during phone call mute yes/no, offer more options:
   * no muting
   * mute notifications (but offer normal driving directions)
   * shorten directions (no TTS, no and then...)
   * audible signal only (ring light bell when maneuver is upcoming and stronger bell when maneuver must be made)
   * mute all

   This will allow the driver to choose to get some form of navigation during phone calls, but which is still less intrusive to the phone call than usual.

8. Graffiti button

   Can you please add a "graffiti" button so that drivers can post a notification of illegal graffiti and the relevant authorities can be notified so that the graffiti can be removed within 24 hours

   Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

9. Enable the Difficult Turn setting to be time/day specific

   Today we have the ability to mark a turn as difficult, but we don't have a way to say it is only difficult during certain times of the day like during commute hours, or even to be only weekdays when there is commute traffic.

   The current UI could easily be updated to move the difficult turn box to the end of each row for the restriction. That way if an editor sets up a time for a restriction, it now becomes an option to be 100% restricted, or just difficult.

   The editor could then set up a left turn being illegal to turn from 15:00 to 18:00, difficult to turn from 8:00 - 15:00, difficult to turn from 18:00 - 20:00, but fine all other times because it is only the traffic that is an issue.

   Also, currently there is no way to limit the difficult turn to weekdays and not include weekends when many difficult turns are abandoned with no weekend traffic at the level of weekdays.

   I have posted a mockup of this idea in the Waze forum under the title "Enable the Difficult Turn setting to be time/day specific"

10. OBJECT IN ROAD

    Need a very specifc alert for object in road. HAZARD REPORTED AHEAD is 90% of the time a car on the side of the road. There should be a verbal alert for objects. MUCH not important than a disabled car on the side of the road. Sample "OBJECT IN ROAD REPORTED AHEAD -CENTER LANE Now that's information we can use!

11. Its a lot of permissions this app need and I'm not comfortable with that.

    To many permissions the app needs to download, gets to do everything in you phone that's personal.

13. Notorious speed trap locations/communities

    There any number of notorious locations or communities that appear to prey on out of town drivers by placing hidden speed traps and adhering to exact speed limits. The locals know of them and even worse the local cops smile and wave at the same locals "speeding". By contrast they seem to relish going after out of town folks who are not likely or able to dispute a speeding ticket. Some sort of warning to unknowing folks that any speed beyond the speed limit puts you at risk.

16. Ideias para facilitar a vida dos motoristas

    Olá,
    Venho por meio deste email trazer sugestão para melhoria do aplicativo, pois utilizo diariamente. Bom a primeira sugestão é poder colocar aviso por exemplo de acidente blitz em qualquer lugar no mapa, poder mover o mapa e colocar a informação pois muitas das vezes passamos por um acidente e não dá tempo de mexer no aplicativo ou está sem rede.
    Segundo: colocar uma opção de informar o motorista que ira passar pelo radar acima da velocidade por exemplo um apito até o motorista diminuir a velocidade.
    Terceiro: sou motorista de uber e uso o waze todo dia e toda hora, muitas das vezes deixamos o passageiro e o mesmo bate a porta do carro com muita força, então sugiro colocar uma opção para os taxistas e uber para quando estiver chegando no destino infomar, sr passageiro chegando ao destino por favor não bata a porta.

20. Don't take us down road where we have

    Don't take us down road where we have a stop sign but ongoing traffic does not - I went around the block per Waze directions only to sit in traffic for 10 minutes trying to merge onto the very street Waze had me leave.
