  2. I don't like the new waze. Can't stop navigation after it starts.

    I don't like the NEW Waze. Can't stop navigation once it starts unless I close the app completely. Make it bigger on the iphone so I can leave my phone on the dash while driving.

  5. Be a car standard

    Volkswagen (in 2015) is known to build a good drivetrain and a safe car, but their electronics has been behind the times. Can Waze become their navigation standard? VW would not need to employ so many people in a marginally profitable area (at best) and clients get updates for years to come.

  6. Gas stations

    The gas price section is a nice idea, but when I tried to enter prices from a location, I was not interested in choosing a favorite brand (I dislike all oil companies in general). More appropriate would be the fuel type: unleaded regular, diesel, non-oxigenated, whatever (my favorite). Maybe partnering with Gas Buddy would be a good idea.

    As pessoas goatam de viajar juntas bem por isso compartilhamos rotas mas não partem do mesmo ponto tendo que se encontrar em algum lugar comum à rota.
    O que sugiro é que o Waze analize o mwlhor local comum aos que estão compartilhando o mesmo destino e quw ele sugira pontos de encontro seguro aoa viajantes
    Por exmpolo postos de gasolina ou restaurantes.

  9. Navigation screen for Routes has a problem

    On Portrait screen, I may have 3 alternate routes that all appear the same.....

    1. Via: Central Expwy Mountain View;...
      45 min. 16.8miles

    2. Via: Central Expwy Mountain View;...
      42 min. 16.7miles

    3. Via: Central Expwy Mountain View;...
      49 min. 17.2miles

    Waze should verify that the 3 "cut to fit" texts are not identical. If they ARE identical, Waze should abbreviate the hell out of them.

    Sure, landscape clarifies things, but it's a pain to swap.

    Bring back the reports feature. Having to enter a route is time consuming and is unnecessary if you know the area.

  13. bom dia, gostaria de sugerir ao waze, colocar um aplicativo para controlar as passagens pelo pedágio,

    Poderia haver um aplicativo para controlar as passagens pelo pedágio, assim como o WAZE pergunta se estou em uma praça de pedágio, ele poderia perguntar se paguei o pedágio e em seguida gerar uma planilha, muitas são as reclamações de cobrança automática pelos usuários, no caso o WAZE poderia ajudar os usuários a controlar as idas e vindas, e quando receber a fatura dos pedágios, poder lembrar se esteve ou não la.

  14. enable Navigation while AVOIDING "RED ROADS"(roads defined as such by authorities/NGO's). Red Road = higher probability for an accident.

    Nation wide, the safety level of road infrastructure reflects budget constarints, professional considerations-mistakes etc.

    Government as well as NGO's e.g. Or Yarok(Israel) monitor accident rates(as well as severty) per LOCATION.....

    Thus it is possible to rate certain roads/junctions as RED - being more dangerous, based on hard statistics.

    Most of the drivers are NOT aware of above(i.e. that they can drive to their destination with significantly lower accident risk) and would probably be happy not to RISK their families and hence chose an alternative, safer road.
    Regardless of the fact that it would require longer driving.

  17. put the feature back knuckleheads

    before the update, Waze had the simple, one click feature to search an address on the main screen, now its gone!

    This means there is one more click involved to enter an address in the search box or to click on the voice entry window.

    While there are many good changes, this one takes you backwards!!

  18. Route away from schools at pickup & dropoff time

    We've been noticing an increasing amount of Waze traffic near our local elementary school. It is dangerous for the kids who are biking to school (and not yet as reliable as adults) -- we have had three kids hit by cars in our small city so far this year. And I'm sure it is annoying for drivers -- we've seen a lot of folks swerving around slow cars etc.

    I would love to be able to tell Waze the pickup and dropoff windows for our school, and have it automatically route away from the school (and ideally nearby streets).

    Maybe…

  19. Waze tirou o sossego de Ruas Pequenas

    Moro em um bairro residencial só de casas bem tranquilo. Tudo vai bem. Crianças ainda brincam na rua. Moradores conversam fora de casa e cachorros andam soltos.

    O problema é que todo dia útil, a partir das 18hs, as ruas da região são invadidas por motoristas wazers loucos para ganhar 30 segundos a mais no trajeto de casa.

    Como estão cortando caminho por indicação do waze, esquecem que estão em pequenas ruas residenciais e trafegam em uma velocidade relativa assustadora, perigosa para os moradores, pedestres e para o próprio motorista.

    Minha sugestão é: Se waze indicar uma rua pequena, que…

  20. Timeliness of Reports

    Any and all reports show have a time limit on them. A report - traffic, debris, police - should be automatically removed after 6 or 12 hours. If a user confirms the report the timer gets reset. I recently drove through NJ and NY and there were some reports that you can see were no longer valid.
