    Sharing a route from the waze web let's you send only a link to open in browser. Would be helpful to share a link that will open in your app.

  3. Show Road events information in Map view - Plan Route

    In the earlier version of Waze this feature was available. With the new update the feature disappeared:
    When choosing the best route out of 3 options Waze shows the list of route and the map. In the Map View not it is missing the traffic information!!!!

    To be able to choose the best route it is totally necessary to see WHERE exactly along the route you should expect traffic.
    The list view shows this info somehow, but it is difficult to guess where exactly the road events are just on a simple line. In the Map View, you can easily…

  4. Placeable reports once youve passed a hazard. Not just where you are right now

    Im unable to accurately place a report unless i report it at the precise moment i pass it. Which isnt always possible or safe to do so.

  6. Open up Waze to developers so we get third party plugins!

    Would be amazing if Waze allowed other developers to integrate their software AND hardware to use with Waze.

    Escort radar has their own app where if you hold a button on their radar detector, it'd report it on their cloud to other Escort users that a police is spotted.

    However, having to have two apps loaded at a time makes it very difficult to catch alerts from both apps at the same time. Opening up an SDK or API on Waze and allowing other companies and developers to integrate with Waze would allow Waze to dominate the industry.

  7. Fix Volume bug

    You can only adjust the volume (using the hard buttons) while Waze is vocally communicating with you. Between alerts/navigation, pressing the volume buttons does nothing

  8. Use traffic data to know when a toll road is open

    Waze currently thinks Toll Roads are open at certain times (e.g., northbound open from 5:00-11:00; southbound open from 12:00-20:00). In reality, they open/close at non-set times. However, it was would be easy for it to detect Waze users traveling on a toll road and adjust accordingly

  9. "I'm in a parking garage" button to delay route recalculation and map out garages

    An "I'm in a parking garage" button would allow you to:

    1) Delay route recalculation until the car had actually started on the route (10 meters along actual street or so)

    2) Map out existing parking garages for feedback to navigation

    Because fiddling with your phone while driving is illegal in Austin, I prefer to set the route and be done with it before I start driving. Driving in circles around the garage means I typically have to do it afterward if I don't want recalculation to squelch my chosen route (non-toll vs toll for instance).

  10. Multiple selections on prefered fuel/gas/petrol stations

    It is now possible to select all or just one as preferred fuel/gas/petrol station.
    I would suggest a selection list where you can select multiple preferred gas/petrol stations in your settings/fuels list depending on your own choice or preference

    Bonjour,
    En raison des récents événements tragiques qui touchent la France et nous heurtent profondément, l'Etat d'Urgence a été décrété par le Gouvernement, ce qui signifie que durant n'importe quel contrôle routier, les véhicules ainsi que ses occupants peuvent être fouillés.
    Il serait nécessaire voire primordial de bloquer la possibilité de signaler les zones de contrôles routiers et barrages de polices aux utilisateurs afin de ne pas permettre aux personnes ayant un lien avec ces actes de barbaries sans nom, d'être au courant de ces actions coordonnées et rendre facile la découverte de personnes impliquées de près ou de loin…

  12. Make the police position unavailable during terrorist attack

    Hello,
    I suggest that waze suppress the police position in case of terrorist attack. Indeed, I am French and was in Paris last Friday 13th of November. On Saturday morning I went in the north when saw a suspicious car with black window that was going very fast and was dangerous for other cars. It may be the 8th terrorist that the police didn't caught yet. I saw this car leaving the main road just before the police could have arrest this car.   13. Add favorites from desktop Mac/PC.

    Add Desktop access. I find a route on my desktop, I have to send myself a text to add it to Waze. It would be nice if I could access my Waze client so I could both add favorites and manage current addresses on my desktop where I have a full keyboard.

  14. Make it so that I can just see a map with my entire route to work with traffic issues, police, etc shown.

    Why should the default be turn by turn to work? That actually doesn't make sense. If I tap on work, I should see the complete map to see what traffic looks like, not some voice telling me how to navigate a drive I have done most days for 10 years. This is in fact so obvious that I can't believe that's not the way it is already. If you do that one thing, I will start using the app every day, and it will be wonderful. For now I guess I will keep using google maps every day.

  17. When "Lock North up" is set in settings, the car is too low on the screen and it's hard to see things when turns take you below the screen

    When "Lock North up" is set in settings, the car is too low on the screen and it's hard to see things when turns take you below the screen. So when heading east and a south turn is coming, you can barely see what's next. Would be great to have the car closer to the center of the screen.

  20. I don't like the new waze. Can't stop navigation after it starts.

    I don't like the NEW Waze. Can't stop navigation once it starts unless I close the app completely. Make it bigger on the iphone so I can leave my phone on the dash while driving.
