  1. Update the Reports list screen without having to leave it and display it again

    I like to use the report list view instead of the map view. The distances to the reported items should be updated in real time as I am getting nearer or further. Currently the list is static.

  3. Show layby's on roads

    I needed to stop the other day and wanted to know where the next layby was. Would be nice to be able to turn on or off on ther maps.

  4. Turn reminder if been on road with no turns for a while

    I was on a road that had no turns for about 10 miles and then missed my turn as had not looked at Waze for some time. I have notifications off but thought would be a good idea to set Waze so that if you have not turned for some time could get it to make a noise or something to remind you of the turn up ahead.

  5. Toll roads

    When entering in a destination, please put the toll roads option there instead of in the settings. I am a driver in New York City. All day long, I would need to go into settings and check/uncheck toll roads. When I drive a passenger, of course, all the toll roads are taken, but when returning, I avoid as much as possible. Please change the tolls feature to somewhere when entering in the destination. Thank you

    Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
    We hope to have it included in our plans for later years and will keep you posted.

  6. Route info on widget

    Currently the widget displays time to work or home and gives some indication of the traffic conditions. I wish it would show something about which route it chose for that info without having to click the Drive! button.

  7. I do not like the new sleep feature! I want to be able to turn waze OFF! Please switch it back

    I like the old feature allowing us to turn waze off when we get to our destination, not the sleep mode. Can you please put back the option to turn off waze

  8. When I hit the park button, make it so that I can find my car later (with an arrow and distance) so I can find my car.

    They make apps to do this and Waze almost has everything you need. It could be great if Waze suggested it after you stop moving for a period of time at your destination.

  9. Allow reporting of issues from a PC

    I don't use my phone when I'm on my motorcycle but would like to be able to report things I see once I reach my destination. I should be able to, from my PC or my phone, report issues which are not at my current location.

  10. Suppress Repeat of Long-term Alerts

    Suppress repeat audio alerts for "long-term alerts" such as red-light cameras. User to press a squelch button on the alert pop-up, so that subsequent drive by the same location won't trigger the audio alert.

    This annoys me some, but my wife absolutely HATES it when Ms Waze blurts out "red light camera ahead" on the roads we travel every day. The squelch button would enable me to not only squelch Ms Waze, but also would make our marriage more enjoyable!

    Those who like to hear the incessant warnings would simply not press the squelch for any given alert. Everybody would…

  11. I wish to present a new an fundamental to existing Waze functionality

    The development will significantly enhance the Waze offering in terms of functionality and the ability to monetize its offering.

    It complements existing versions but takes it to a new level and functionality.

    I woul request a contact point with Waze management to discuss the initiative.

    It's certainly not a an option to discuss via a forum or a discussion group.

    please use google fused location and google cloud messaging services to improve battery life on android.

    instead of looking for network location every time, why don't waze use the already provided location by google fused location services. this will improve battery life. tested on old and new google maps, fused location really does it magic improving battery life with location report on for google now app.

    and use google cloud messaging for push notifications. i've enabled all autosync and push notification on apps which using google cloud messaging for its push notification and the battery life is spectacular. used to…

  15. Can the CHP app be part of waze?

    I like to find out the progress of accidents on the road with the CHP app and have often thought about hitting the accident icon and getting the CHP report in waze.

  16. Ability to Submit Report from Notification Shade

    When Waze is in the background, the only option in the Notification Shade is to "Switch Off". It would be nice to also have a button that would bring you straight to the Report options (i.e, Police, Road Hazard, etc...). This would make it easier to contribute while using other prevalent driving apps like a music player.

  18. Don't limit the number of reports that can be submitted, limit the points given instead. Better to have more current info avail for drivers.

    Today I exceeded my limit for the number of reports I could submit. I was not aware there was a limit, but this happened just as I was trying to report an accident on the freeway. I am on the roads early each morning and would think the more info submitted for the rush hour the better. Instead of limiting how many reports can be submitted, if abuse is a concern, why not just limit the points that can be earned from submitting points within a certain amount of time.   20. road ahead preview button

    I would like to have an on map button which, on hold or on press, will zoom out the map to show the entire route ahead.
    Releasing or pressing again will go back to regular nav mode.
    This is great for getting a sense of the route and not having to be constantly alert to input from the client (visual or auditory).
