    Why has commenting on the police icon been disabled?

    I've actually found this commentary to be very useful for telling people which side of the road an officer may have made a stop, in the case of move-over and slow-down laws, etc.

    Very disappointing and uninformative.

  2. Select Alerts

    Please make it so you can elect which alerts you want to receive during navigation. On long drives, there are multiple alerts that aren't necessarily relevant. Selecting only police, traffic, and hazards IN the road would eliminate a lot of alerts.

  3. use Iphone screen to display speedometer/speed limit when in carpay mode

    When in apple carplay mode, use the iphone screen to display the speedometer/speedlimit in full screen. Pehaps as a third tab next to the directions, notifications tab. With the phone in a cradle close to the steering wheel this avoids having to glance to the far right of the main car screen to see the actual speed limit.

  4. Rettungssgassen-Erinnerung

    Es wäre toll wenn Waze in Staus auf Autobahnen den Fahrer optisch oder akkustisch an das Bilden der Rettungsgasse erinnert. Viele Fahrer vergessen das häufig, ich auch manchmal.

  5. BLOQUEAR O CELULAR DURANTE O USO DO APLICATIVO

    Apesar de outra pessoa já ter dado esta opinião eu gostaria de reforçar a importância de manter bloqueado o celular durante o uso do aplicativo. No Brasil o roubo de celulares durante deslocamento no transito é comum. Os assaltantes vendo que o celular está no waze sabem que o mesmo se encontra desbloqueado e fazem o que querem. Acessam nossa agenda, nossas redes sociais, nossas configurações, nossas fotos, nos deixando muito vulneráveis. Por favor considerem a ideia de existir a opção de bloqueio do celular durante o uso do aplicativo para segurança do motorista.

  7. Why are traffic jams on highway not announced? This seems like a major need going from 65mph to 0?!

    Everything else is an audible, verbalized announcement. Why are traffic jams on the highway not an audible alert to the driver? I find this to be a major miss currrntly.

  8. Keep the police reporting feature. That is your main strength. Fight the effort to eliminate it by police. It's free speech.

  9. Create user profiles

    I wish Waze, like Netflix and so many other must-have apps, let you create user profiles.

    That way, to give just one example, you wouldn’t have to change the HOV setting each time you use a Tesla to “electric” (which allows you to use certain HOV lanes).

  10. message car to car

    It would be useful to add the possibility to send a message to another car using the car license plate number
    This is useful when a car has a taillight out of order or when you forget the back foglamps on.
    In any case in all situations in which you want to warn a car of a potential danger.
    Naturally, the message is only received even if the target car has the active waze application.

    Bonjour,
    Serait il possible intégrer les prévisions météo pour les trajets sur les longs trajets et ceux que l'on veux programmer à l'avance.. Cela serait un facteur déterminant pour le temps mais surtout pour la sécurité

  12. Option to hide "Select vehicle type" button

    I stopped needing to use Waze for a while, so I'm not sure when it was added, but one of the "new" changes I noticed right away when using it recently, and that I absolutely hate, is the "Select vehicle type" button that is now ALWAYS visible. That makes no sense. I can't imagine many people are switching vehicle types on a regular basis, and it should be optional so those that are can have it there and those that have no need for it don't have it sitting there being distracting. And even people that do have a use…

  15. Stop Go in addition to just construction

    We need and icon for reporting Temporary traffic lights where construction reduces road width to single lane and controlled by temporary traffic lights allowing traffic from one way at a time. As opposed to just construction which can be present without impediment on traffic flow these types of traffic hazards slow down traffic considerably more than just regular construction.

  16. Connect with train position tracking systems

    Connect Waze and train position tracking systems like http://provoz.szdc.cz/grappnv/ to warn the driver in advance that he/she is approaching rail crossings and a train is in near vicinity and therefore there is serious danger and he/she should be aware of it. I can help you with implementation in Czech Republic. Thanks.

  17. UPDATE SECTION: Warning on the route

    Currently, if we are on a highway with 2, 3 or more strips per sense, and an accident is reported, although the road is crowded, we do not know which band to fall in to avoid the accident.
    After the warning buttons like: accident, hole, works, etc
    Show the selection of the band on which the warning is placed
    Let's have options, three lanes.
    This will help us whether we are on a road with a band, or that we are on a 5-lane highway

    اصلاحیه در راهنمایی صوتی فارسی : موقع رسیدن به تقاطع ها و یا وارد شدن به خیابان ها در ایران

    در راهنمایی صوتی فارسی در ایران قبل از اینکه به تقاطع ها و یا خیابان ها برسیم اعلام میشود : ( به سمتِ راست یا چپ به پیچید ) متاسفانه نام تقاطع ها و یا خیابان هایی که راننده قصدِ پیچیدن به آن خیابان را دارد ، از قبل به راننده اعلام نمیشود و این نوع راهنمایی صوتی باعثِ سردرگومیِ بیشترِ راننده ای میشود که مسیریابی خوبی از شهرِ مورد نظر را ندارد .
    اما در راهنمایِ صوتی انگلیسی خوشبختانه…

  20. Arrows for one way streets

    Please add arrows to one way streets! It would be SO helpful when you want to try to go a different route in the city to know if the surrounding streets are one way and which direction it goes.
