  1. Allow entering destinations while driving.

    Passengers should be able to use the app while the car is on the road, same for drivers trying to change destinations during a red light.

  2. Add a Toilet Place Category

    There is currently no toilet place category, there is however apparently a search category for toilet. It would be ideal to create a place category for toilet tied to the search category so that public toilets can be mapped more effectively than simply using "Other". This could then potentially be tied to a quick search category in app.

  3. Show visual instructions for "View Only"

    For a View Only instruction, only a "Continue" instruction is currently shown in the app along with the lanes. It should also show visual instructions that are set by editors in the WME Turn Instructions panel.

  4. Configurable Speedometer & Speed Limit location

    Before I go ahead and suggest improvements, Waze is a great navigation app with excellent features. I love it! Great work, Waze team; keep it up!! 👏

    I suggest introducing a feature where Waze app users can configure the location of the speedometer and speed limit information through the Waze app preferences to be positioned in one of four display corners. I have noticed reports of inconsistent placement across different platforms; some Waze apps display this information on the left, while others display it on the right.   6. Upcoming Speed limit

    It would be great if Waze could give a(n optional) warning if a speed limit comes up (similar to construction area warning). This enables the driver to lower the speed before - instead of brake down the speed when the limited zone begins.
    This would be very helpful especially on German motorways, which haven’t a general limit and where you have to brake hard e.g. before construction areas.

  9. Ability to disable features

    Give users ability to disable/opt-out of CarPool. I drive for work, and cannot have passengers, but frequently have navigation blocked by the "Carpool" screen when adjusting my phone in the holder / accidental contact with right side of screen.

  10. Display the name of the town/City that i am currently driving through.

    Simply Display In some small way, the name of the town I am currently driving in. Sometimes it would be nice to know the name of the town I currently am driving through, Ie. because some police departments use different types of cars, colors etc. If I knew the name of the town I was in... I would know what to look for. Or simply if I am even in the town of my destination. There are multiple reasons this could be useful. I know in some instances it shows it on the map but is too distracting while driving…

  11. Change Vehicle profile by connected Bluetooth

    I am using my device for navigation by car and motorcycle and I regularly forget to change the vehicle type.
    I would love to have a feature that depending on what Bluetooth device is connected to the phone the vehicle type would be automatically set to the appropriate one.

  12. Interface suggestion

    When asking if police or disabled car on side of the road, perhaps separate the “still there” and “not there” buttons. Perhaps one on the top and one on the bottom. Sometimes I accidentally click the wrong button as the car is bumpy and the buttons are too close together. FYI. This is on Apple CarPlay.

  13. Allow HOV lanes to be selected in Android Auto

    Allow HOV Lanes to be used in Android Auto

    Regular Waze allows for HOV routing, but android auto does not allow this selection. It will remember your routing before you enter android auto, but it will not allow switching of routings in the android auto version of the app.

  14. Utilizacao com Tela Bloqueada

    No Brasil infelizmente estamos vendo um aumento de casos de furto do celular em veículos para utilização indevida de cartões de crédito ou conta bancária. isso acontece pois quando estamos em navegação o celular fica desbloqueado. Sugiro que as demais funções do Celular sejam bloqueadas quando estivermos navegando, assim caso nosso celular seja furtado durante uma navegação o único bem que perderemos será o celular e não mais bens financeiros .

  15. WAZE as my vehicle advisor

    I would like a feature to upload my car (type, make, year, model, etc.) and so could collect my daily mileage. Then WAZE (after xx miles) could alert me about changing my brakes, renew tires, oil, etc. as well presenting me promotions from near/path services that we all forget at the right time.
    As well recommending new cars offers (same or alternative make) or insurances, accesories, detailing, etc.
    A whole automotive world is there, and WAZE can be the best interface to interact with it.
    You know my displacement, now you must know my car.

  16. Search along my route

    When searching for a restaurant when I'm en route, don't tell me about the restaurant 2 exits behind me, tell me about the ones ahead and along my route. Maybe suggest a place along my route in an estimated time frame. i.e., look for a place to eat lunch between noon and 1p or breakfast at around 7am
    Similar look ahead for hotels or stores.

  17. Have a Female super hero car to drive

    Hi! My daughters asked me why, if the Batmobile is an option, we can’t drive a Wonder Woman car as well.

    My kids are 3 and 5 and their question strikes the lack of representation they can already see here.

    It can be WW or someone else... but could you have a car of a female superhero as well?

    Ps: we love Batman too, -not the Riddle that much-, but having female representation would give an initial great & diversed option.

  18. Toll/No toll option BEFORE choosing route.

    This is a NO-BRAINER. If I want to view the toll road and non-toll road options, I want to be able to choose it BEFORE selecting the route, not buried in ‘settings’ and worse, only AFTER I’ve set the route.

    We plan to work on having a feature to toggle on and off Toll routes in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.

  20. Entities reporting Road Closures

    Government departments or other entities that may close roads should have the capability to report road closures in advance and monitor these closures from the back end.
