Stop telling me where not to turn
In a recent update someone added the asinine feature that tells me where I should not turn as I cross every intersection, in 100 m don't turn just go straight you dumb idiot.. I don't get it my great aunt used to tell me the name of any every intersection I would cross when she tried to explain how to get somewhere instead of just telling me to drive straight up a particular road! It's asinine it's extraneous it's not helpful and it's annoying! There's no way to turn off this stupid feature and I'm stuck having ways tell me…

Stop HOV Notifications
WAZE will always default to HOV. It is not always the most efficient and best option, especially during non-rush hour, when the option to lane change makes more sense. It adds unnecessary and distracting instructions to driving. I have made lane changes because WAZE is telling me to get off of an HOV that I was never on. This option is clearly state centric for California and does not make sense countrywide.

Feed back Thank you for the speed limit!!
My biggest issue with Waze vs other GPS devices/apps was the lack of speed limit. Thank you for finally adding it!! Way to go Waze. Great app, saved me from tickets and getting stuck in traffic in multiple occasions.

More direct routes for emergency response services and fire hydrant locations.
Hi, I propose you look into a toggle option for navigation for emergency services organizations that completely ignores traffic regulations, stop signs traffic lights etc..
Emergency services need to take the fastest route while ignoring speed limits, traffic lights & signs.
It would be very helpful to have a navigation that made more direct routes that completely disregard these things and give you the absolute fastest route.
Also, it would be awesome if there could also be a toggle option to show fire hydrant icons / locations for firefighters.4 votes -

Default Icons for Common Selections on main selection screen instead of going through menu selections
Allow users to create defaults for commonly used selections.
Example, when car is located on a route on the side of the road, you have to select hazard -> on shoulder -> vehicle stopped.
Would be nice to have the button vehicle stopped on main screen as it is one of the most common selections I choose.

Select what hazards to hear
Allow the user to select what notifications to hear. I don’t care about stopped cars but I do about objects on the road or police.
Most notifications are for stopped cars and I honestly have turned off all notifications and just hope I see relevant info on the map.
Needs to work with CarPlay etc as well.

rotate the map when stopped to know which direction to go
Rotate the map by rotating the phone. Currently there is only the option to rotate the vehicle indicator, it should have the option to rotate the map when pointing the phone in the direction you are going, so it would be easier to know which direction to go when you leave, as you only realize that you are going in the wrong direction after walking a few meters.

Add the capability to request assistance when you are the "vehicle on the side or the road"
Many times when driving and passing vehicles that are stopped on the side of the road, i am often inclined to stop and offer assistance. Many times i have stopped just to find out it is something I can not assist with or something for which they already have help on the way for. It would be nice if you have to pull over, you can self report the vehicle on the side of the road and specify if you could use some assistance or not. Stop sending users going to a Summer st address to Congress st
Boston, MA.
I regularly use uber or lyft to get to my office at the even side of the 250-300 section Summer st, Boston, MA. For whatever reason, any driver using the waze app tries to drop me off in a back alley on Congress st. This is also true for almost every address in this section of summer street.
The problem is that Summer street is a raised road two stories above the street level of congress street. None of the buildings in this alleyway offer public access to get to Summer st. The only way to get to…

Fix Nav/Add a stop -
When I add a stop (iPhone 4s) The navigation usually gets "stuck" in "proceed to the highlighted route" and updates sporadically, if at all. The car icon tracks properly on the map, but the text is frozen. This happens most of the time I use "Add a stop".

Stop using last direction of travel for assumed start direction of new trip
Waze should not make assumptions like the direction my vehicle is facing for a new trip based on the direction it was facing when the last trip completed. 1) I have a driveway so I rarely park on the street in the direction I was last traveling while guided by Waze. 2) When I am going home I do not have my actual address stored in Waze, rather one 5-6 homes before my address so I continue past the address which Waze thinks is my home destination. 3) Another reason Waze should not assume my direction of last travel is…

Any alternative to Not There?
Any alternative to asking drivers if police is still there or not?
It’s risky:
1. Distraction while driving.
2. Police might detain us using phone while reporting their presence.Similarly, asking if stopped vehicle is there or not. Risky.

Finding the nearest safe place to stop
Please add a feature that allows the user to find the nearest safe place to stop. Sometimes you need to make an emergency stop but prefer to keep driving a few minutes if there is a safer place to stop, like a gas station or a wide safety margin. Finding a safer place to stop could save a life.

lane assist
I hope Waze can roll out more lane assist features same as Google maps. This still lacking and during usage many lane assist not available at multiple lanes. Also during or about turning into lane the white arrow can blink to notify the driver if possible. Many thanks

Would love to know when I will be stopped by a train Its a huge issue in my town.. Also, we have issues with Broncos and Rams football games and downtown festivals and events as a traffic issue. Maybe redundant, but definitely need one for trains.

Simple things that make drives easier
I’ve found that a few small habits really change how smooth a trip feels. I usually give myself a little extra time before heading out, especially on weekends, and it makes a big difference. I also try to check any planned stops ahead of time instead of scrambling to add them while I’m on the road.

Can you calculate red lights by using current users data when they stop and start?
When I drive home you then could give me an estimation on the speed to keep to hit green all the way or to hit green at the right time or wait the least amount of time at a red light.Some lights change every minute and others at different intervals but could you figure this out using gps data (speed etc.)?
