ADD ICE ALERT NOTIFICATIONS
Using the immense network and crowd-sourced infrastructure already in place, please add an additional alert where users can add an ICE / Homeland Security sighting. Same functionality as current "police" or "hazard" with the "still there" or "not there" controls.
An easy programming solution to alert law-abiding citizens from being unlawfully detained.
Please share this suggestion with EVERYBODY to have it added ASAP.

Prevent speed camera warning from coming up after dismissing notification {x} number of times.
If you use Waze for your daily commute, you pass the same speed cameras and traffic lights every day. I would suggest that if you dismiss the speed camera or traffic light warning popup {x} number of times (where {x} is a preset default, or user configurable) then Waze knows you know there is a speed camera there and will prevent the popup. Too many popups mean you naturally learn to ignore them.

Driver Safety Points: auto-reply to texts, speaker/bluetooth calls only, and speeding alerts.
It would be great if, when you signed into Waze, you were prompted to click on Driver or Passenger. If you are the driver, Waze puts the phone into drive mode, and it either auto-replies to texts with one of five pre-set messages (set up in settings), or it becomes completely voice activated, so it reads your incoming text aloud and allows you to respond via voice only (also set in settings per driver preference). When you pop up a warning for a speed camera, don't cover the speed limit on screen
When the speed camera warning comes up, it stays there until you pass the speed camera. This is great, however the pop up banner also covers the speed limit, so you don't know how fast you should be going!
Be great if you can change the banner to show the limit or move the speed limit so it's not covered by the banner3 votes -
Police Speed Check instead of Police
80% of my “Police” alerts that pop up are for people that have been pulled over, which is technically “Vehicle on Shoulder”. I end up reporting “not there” and then change it to Vehicle on Shoulder. I suggest changing Police and Police (Hidden) to Police Speed Check. This will eliminate the confusion of a speed check vs a car on the shoulder.

add a POTUS alert
Whenever the President or Vice president are in town the motorcade creates traffic. Add an alert using planned roads that maybe affected by the local motorcade presence.

3) each work on the road (construction site) always has a different speed limit (there is a speed reduction and ... often a speed camera nearby): the wazer must be able to easily enter the new speed limit.

Change the speed camera icon
The speed camera icon has recently changed to a new one however it blends in too much so I can be very misleading, the old speed camera icon was fine and was very noticeable compared to everything else (especially when you have a route inputted in)

Navigation visual alert
Usually we navigate without voice direction, and it is easy then to miss next exit on highway, for example..

Speed cameras notification
The alert should notify 1000m before the actual place. this will give sufficient time for drivers to slowing down the vehicle instead of emergency break.

speed limit manual
can we have a manual speed limit? I often use a big trailer who is limit to 90km/h on highway versus 130km/h for the cars. so my arrived hour is always very wrong and my route isn't optimized at all.

Seperate speed limit warning for each vehicle type
Hi Waze team,
I have used Waze while driving motorcycle. But in my opinion, it would be good if we can separate the speed limit for each vehicle type because the speed limit may be different with cars on some roads. Maybe it's a good development route for supporting another type of vehicle like truck for example7 votes -
Allow me to define my daily commute route and show a look-ahead summary of any speed traps or accidents for entire route
When I leave to go to or from work, I would just like to see a summary that tells me if there are any speed traps or accidents along the route. Distance to the incident would be a plus, as would an audible alert when I am within a mile or two. I ride a motorcycle so interacting with the waze app while riding is impossible.

Set destination and arrival time and alert me when it's time to leave
Based on current conditions, alert me 5-15 minutes before I need to leave so that I can arrive at a set time.

Crosswalk Alert (Visual + Optional Voice)
Marked pedestrian crosswalks are among the highest-risk points where vehicles and pedestrians interact, especially at night, during poor weather, or in areas with weak lighting.
Introducing a Crosswalk Alert — a small on-screen icon with an optional short voice cue such as “Pedestrian crossing ahead” — would provide drivers with earlier situational awareness without affecting routing. Activated only on verified crosswalks, this alert would function similarly to existing permanent notifications such as speed bump warnings, hazard alerts, camera notifications, and other fixed safety cues.

Alert And/Or Settings/Navigation Option for Low Bridges
Low bridges (rail and road) are an issue throughout Westchester County, NY and over-height trucks frequently strike these bridges. Apparently on S Main (Rt 1) in Port Chester, Metro North is reporting a low bridge as an object in the road (for several months).
The problem here is, I would never consider a bridge as an 'object in road'. Rather, this alert distracts from looking at the low bridge warning signs. Drivers would pay attention to a permanent alert of a low bridge for this and other sites. Or for navigation by over-height vehicles, adding an option in settings/navigation to…66 votes -

Speed limit and gps speed widgets
Would be very helpful to be able to increase the size of the widgets and select where the display them. I only have a 7 inch screen and cannot see them. Widgets should be on driver's side not passenger side.
