Wrong indication on navigation screen of my Skoda kodiak
AT each roundabout, a U turn IS shown on the navigation screen of my Skoda kodiak (not the Android multimedia screen) whereas the direction is to go straight forward. This problem doesn't exist with Google maps. I wish I could send photos to illustrate the problem

View map on mobile to select point on map, law enforcement
Similar to Google Maps interface, in which I can pin a point on the mobile app and start navigation on Android Auto. I frequently use Waze to safely navigate to reported accidents, debris and disabled vehicles. Waze reports are significantly more location-accurate than my dispatcher saying "Respond to the area of Exit 45 for a crash." Before the last update, I could force stop Waze on my phone, reopen the app to the map, pin a location next to the incident and start navigation, then reopen the app on Android Auto to navigate. Allow two planned trips as segments of a two day drive.
Currently, when I begin and the second planned drive's destination, Waze gets stuck in a loop showing the messages "Route too long. Recalculating with new arrival day." and "Please wait." It never stops nor allows me to set the second planned drive start (to the destination of the first planned drive). Allow setting start location of a (second/subsequent) planned drive.

How do I update the Waze maps it uses. I have a turn lane that Waze doesn't recognize and programs an alternate route that is impractical.
When I leave my complex, there is only a right turn. So to go the opposite direction a U turn must be made. Waze doesn't have the convenient place to U turn in it's maps. How do I amend the maps to include it.

Waze needs a 4th option under Sounds - "Directions Only"
Waze has always talked a little too much and now it's talking even more. They need a 4th setting under "Voice and Sound". Right now, we get Off, Alerts Only, and On. We need one between Alerts Only and On called "Directions Only". I don't want to know about railroad tracks. I don't want to know that my route is 23 minutes faster than some other route. I don't want to know that my route is similar to other routes. Just give me the fastest route, take me there, and talk as little as possible while keeping me…

Share route from car screen
Add a button on the car screen to share route with a pre-selected favorite contact.
I only share route with my wife, but I do this everyday. Currently I must start and share the route on my phone before Android Auto connects to the car wirelessly. A simple button to share to one contact using one app (eg: Whatsapp) would be very useful.

User road side assistance
User can request battery assistance from other user who can help jump start car Battery. Waze should reward them using existence features.

Change the algorithm from pushing you back to the original route, when deviating from it, to a new, freshly calculated best option.
Example: today, I took a bit of a detour, and followed a different route to work. Waze kept pushing me back to the originally calculated, regardless of the fact that I am already almost at my destination. (Finally it switched to a new, logical route from that point, and travel time shortened to 10 minutes from 40.)
This is not helpful. Currently, if I want to check if there are better options from the one which is being persistently suggested for a long time despite changed circumstances, I am forced to start a close Waze, open, cancel the popped up…1 vote -
Directions w/o Hazards/Alerts
Please add an option for spoken directions without alerts. I want to hear directions without knowing about every roadkill and pothole on the highway. If possible, providing the ability to select which alerts to hear would be even more helpful! (I.e. police, traffic, and construction alerts)

I hate it when I search a restaurant or business and click on directions and instead of waze going to the directions, it gives me all these
When I click on directions for a business or restaurant, I only want the directions to that place, not five different address choices. It is so irritating. I don't remember the address and have to go back to the site to find it.

Cloverleaf Exit
When exiting a highway, the white arrow in top-left of app give left or right exit direction. Don't see why a circular arrow couldn't be there for left or right "cloverleaf" exit. Knowing this lets you know if you're taking the first or second exit.

Predictive Traffic Light Data
I have an idea that will revolutionize navigation in cities and significantly benefit Waze users - predictive traffic light data.
By leveraging real-time GPS data from our massive user base, our app can start predicting traffic light patterns at intersections. Using algorithms to analyze when cars stop and start at lights, we can gradually build models mapping out sequences and wait times for traffic signals across entire cities.
This would enable sending users notifications in advance whether they are likely to hit the next green or red light. They can adjust speed accordingly, eliminating unnecessary braking and idling. The benefits…

“Getting fuel/food” option if leaving the route, instead of being nagged to return to it
We just finished a two way cross country journey between Colorado and New Jersey. As usual we used Waze, and as always it was great. However, whenever we pulled off the interstate for any reason we were, of course, nagged with directions to get back onto it. I thought it would be really useful if a box could pop up where you could choose “stopping for fuel” or food, or rest break, so that the app would just pause directions

Better navigation - height width weight
Please add three values to segments, maxHeight, maxWidth, maxWeight. All segments should default to 0.
Please add user settings of maxHeight, maxWidth, maxWeight. They should default to 0. The label should direct the user to enter their height/width in metres and weight in tonnes.
When reviewing a navigation route, check if there is a value of maxHeight, maxWidth, maxWeight exceeding 0. If there is a value, cross-check the users maxHeight, maxWidth, maxWeight is lower.
If the users value is higher than the segment value, disregard that segment as a navigation option.

Instead of "turn left in X feet", how about just saying something more like "take the next left"
Instead of focusing directions on distance when approaching a turn, treat the turns more like your roundabout directions. It's more natural to give directions such as: "take the next right" or "go left at the light" rather than "turn in 500 feet" or go right on Main Street (especially if the street sign isn't easiy to see).

Start when and if I open the app not when I connect to car play
When I get into my car with my Car Play connected phone Waze should not automatically open. Google Maps doesn’t open when I get in my car and it is also part of Car Play. Most of the time, I know where I’m going and don’t need or want Waze to open. Add a feature that allows the app to automatically start when driving. A feature similar to spotify that starts music whenever it connects to the Bluetooth in my car.

Option to not have WAZE auto start on Android Auto. I don't need/want WAZE if i'm making short around town trips.
Many times if I'm going to be making short round-town errands, I don't really need WAZE. A simple option that would save on battery utilization and charge cycles. WAZE should initialize only when I run the app. This would extend the battery life and reduce the number of charge cycles thereby extending battery wear. You're SOL if you forget your charging cable.

Autobahn Fahrtrichtung dauerhaft angezeigt bekommen
Wenn man auf der Autobahn unterwegs ist, wäre es sehr hilfreich, wenn im blauen Kasten am unteren Bildschirmrand nicht nur die Autobahnnummer, sondern auch die aktuelle Fahrtrichtung angezeigt würde, zum Beispiel „A1 > Hamburg“. Diese zusätzliche Information würde nicht nur die Orientierung während der Fahrt verbessern, sondern könnte im Fall einer Panne oder eines Unfalls auch dabei helfen, den genauen Standort schneller und einfacher zu bestimmen. Da auf den Kilometermarkierungen entlang der Autobahn keine Fahrtrichtung angegeben ist, wäre eine solche Anzeige in Waze eine wertvolle Ergänzung, um in Notsituationen präziser Auskunft geben zu können.
