   Problem: When using Waze through Android Auto, roundabouts show incorrect navigation symbols in the car’s HUD and media widget. This does not happen in Google Maps.
   
   The main screen shows correct instructions, but the HUD and widget display incorrect icons — often showing wrong turn direction or exit.
   
   Please verify if the Android Auto metadata (like NavigationTemplate or TripInfo) is being sent correctly by Waze for HUD integration.

2. Reports/all/On-Route - deleting incidents behind you

   "Reports/All/On-Route" shows everything on the route, even those which are now behind you and thus of no interest. These should be removed as you pass them so that you only see what is ahead. At the moment it is too confusing - I shouldn't be looking at the screen to see which reports (if any) are relevant. I can ask it to calculate a new route from where I am and that works (as all reports "on-route" are now ahead of me), but dangerous to do on the move.

3. Full visual lane guidance (like TomTom or Sygic)

   Hello,
   I would like to suggest adding full visual lane guidance to Waze, similar to what TomTom or Sygic offer.

   This means showing all lanes clearly on the screen, with the correct lane highlighted using arrows or lines, not just a small icon or short instruction.

   The current Direction card with a lane icon is helpful, but not enough, especially when driving on highways or in complex intersections.

   A visual guide across the screen would make navigation safer and easier to follow – especially for less experienced drivers or tourists.

   Please consider adding this feature in future updates.

7. screen rotation

   Screen rotation. I use Waze on android, and I don't have a phone holder in many of the vehicles I drive for work, so I invert my phone (because the charging cable is plugged in) and put it in the cup holder. The map does not re-orient with the phone rotation, so the map and everything on it is upside down. It's been like this for a long time and I'm kinda getting used to it, but it would be nice to not perform mental gymnastics to figure out what I need to do while I'm also supposed to be concentrating on driving.

8. After updating to 4.94.0.3 Waze is very difficult to navigate in Android Auto with a rotary knob (non-touch screen).

   When using a car without a touch screen, it is extremely difficult to navigate the new interface. For example, the Cursor used to default to the "Pin" icon while in navigation. This was great because it allows you to quickly report Hazards and Police.

   Now after the update, it defaults to the "Magnifying Glass" icon. This means you have to scroll past SEVEN, yes... 7, other icons to get the to "Pin" to report a hazard. I tried moving the cursor to the "Pin" Icon and leaving it there, but after a few seconds it defaults back to the Search Icon. The last thing I'm trying to do while already navigating someplace is use the search Icon. I've all but stopped trying to report anything on the road as a hazard because of this change. This is exacerbated by the fact that voice commands no longer seem to work.

   If future developers out there want a "what not to do" of UI updates... this is textbook.

   It's almost as if Waze is sabotaging the app to force people back to Google Maps.

9. Véhicule lent , alerte embouteillages à l avance et choix station essence sur parcours

   je suis (Walti38) routier et de ce fait je me permet de vous soumettre certaine idee qui pouront profiter a la comunaute
   1) dans type de vehicule ,une rubrique "vehicule lent " avec un choix de vitesse maxi (110, 90, 80, 70, 60) serait le bien venu.
   bien entendu le choix de la vitesse devra avoir un impact sur le calcul de l itineraire.
   2)un option pouvant indiquez les pompes a essence disponibles sur le trajet est ces environs ou seulement sur le trajet au sens strict (ex: que les station defini (as 24) le long du trajet d autoroute sans en sortir.
   3) une option alerte en cas d embouteillage important ou pas reglable en km. Ex: 5 km avant vous recevez une alerte "traffic a l arret dans 5 km"
   Je suis convaincu que ces modifications seront un plus pour nous tous

10. Automatically adjust the size of the text for turn instructions for longer text to fit more on the screen

    Currently if there is text in the visual instructions or towards that is really long, Waze will end up cutting off important information that could be useful in Android Auto.

    My suggestion is to make this text be automatically adjusted so more can fit on the screen but can still be readable with the naked eye.

    I'm not sure what is exactly the best way to go about this but currently I find it not as user friendly as it could be considering us editors try our best to get all the information out there only for like a fair bit of it to be cut off with the current UI design.

11. Bugs in the new version

    After android auto/waze was updated to the latest version, I see many bugs there:
    1) When I disconnect the phone from the car, application remains working on the phone. In previous version it wasn't the case;
    2) Hey google is not working anymore on the new version. On older version understood voice commands;
    3) New black squares on the screen hides half of the route? Why have you added them? Maybe it would be better to add it to transparent box?
    4) If you enjoy the current layout, maybe the user can choose, which layout should stay on his screen? Configurable layout should not be a huge challenge for developers.

    The person who approved that version, should be fired immediately. Seems it was no testing.

12. LitterGram Car Mode

    LitterGram is a popular app in the UK and is quickly becoming the new way for 40m smartphone users to report litter to councils so they can clean it up. We are about to trial LitterGram car mode which will allow drivers to hit a button on their steering wheel whilst driving and map the littered roads/highways/lanes. Britain is the 3rd most littered nation globally and has a serious problem. This new feature will help clean up our highways and make driving in our country a better experience for the motorist. It would be great to see if you could show a LitterGram score or rating on your map by somehow integrating our app / litter map. 13. When gps signal is offline, automaticallly switch to a list of the 10 next steps, and the possibility to check them

    When GPS signal is lost, especially when in tunnels for like 10 kilometers (like in Paris La Défense highway) currently there is some issues that could be better dealt with I think :
    - GPS is stuck on only the next itinerary change when signal is lost. So if you ride for 10 kilometers in a tunnel and the next change is in 4, you don't know what to do after that.
    - Arrival time gets delayed as long as signal is lost.

    I think it would be better, when GPS signal is lost for more than X seconds, to switch to a different mode, close to the "list mode", as the map gets useless pretty quickly, especially in a jam, where the approximate position is irrelevant.

    It would be way more useful to have a list of the 10 next changes (with a picture of the type of change), with approximate time and distance, and be able to check them one by one when you get past them, to keep the itinerary clear and the arrival time almost up to date.

15. Toll Prices

    It would be nice if we could have a Toll Prices option. Low-under $3; Med - $3 to $5; High over $5. This could prepare other Wazers for how long they would be in traffic if the toll is too high to take the toll lane. Thank you for considering this option.

16. Please add the capability to delete more than one message in the inbox at once.

    Using release 3.5.1.0 for IOS 6.1 you can't delet (edit) more than one inbox meassae a time.

17. change the spelling of Fuquay-Varina so it is pronounced correctly. Try “Few quay-Varina”? Otherwise it’s a swear word.

    Keeps Waze from saying swear words and pronounces the city correctly.

    This may not pertain to most people, but for those of you who use the Waze app in the landscape view may have similar issues. First of all, the alert box for train crossings and red light cameras takes up approximately 40% of the bottom of the screen, as well as the direction arrows information covers the speed display. Some of the other icons are piled on top of each other. If the UI were to be more like the Android auto version of Waze or Gmaps it would be much better and easier to use.

20. turn by turn notification on in-car instrument cluster display

    On my BMW 5 series (OS8.5) and CarPlay with iOS26, turn by turn notification/guidance that appears in instrument cluster is way too big, covering the route ahead which I need to drive. It is very difficult to see what is in front of me and in that case I need to look at the large display, which is not that safe especially when you need to turn. It would be much nicer to have this window moved underneath the car arrow instead of ETA window. ETA window in instrument cluster is not essential information and I could live without it, easily.

    A option in settings "Show guidance below car icon/arrow" will give users freedom of choice depending on their car display and implementation.

    Alternatively, move car arrow to the bottom edge of display if possible.
