Field of Cows Detour
Waze should have a feature that adds a slight detour to your route if there is a field of cows nearby.

Block a turn only to myself.
A single segment makes my daily travel to work and son therapy only 1-2 minutes shorter, but through a neighborhood I avoid because it's full of turns and bad pavement. I wish I could make that single turn red on the WME but only for me so Waze can route me to any other route it sees better for me.

We need to be able to see routes shared. When notification is received you go see the route but when going back into Waze, you can’t find it
No longer able to exit Waze and go back in and see a route that was shared. You have to go find text or email and click on the link again. Time consuming. I miss the old Waze setup.

Create tours by driving a route and saving it and then be able to email it to family and friends.
By creating and saving tours that you can email or replay you can send them to family, friends, or business associates and have them tour a location or route to show them the best the area has to offer. Realtors could use it to show homes and neighborhoods to prospective buyers.

When launching Waze app during dark times, have app utilize light sensor to start in night mode.
App starts up in day mode during dark hours and doesn't switch until route is planned. Utilize light sensor or time of day to cause it to startup in the appropriate mode for the time/light of day.

Waze for motorbike
The best functionality for the biker would be to develop a "Biker Mode" which not consider the traffic jam to calculate the best route.
5 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already has Motorcycle Mode included in the app. To change your vehicle type, tap Settings > Car Details > Vehicle type.

Calculating Meeting points
It would be great that if Waze can help the customers to advise a meeting place for people who are trying to carpool.
Basically, its taking 3 routes, if there are two participants are trying to get from their places to the same destination. .
1. Person 1's route from place A to place B.
2. Person 2's route from place C to place B.Then, Waze can calculate the most close meeting points fro Person 1 and Person 2 to meet and get to place B.

Improve road detection while navigating
When navigating along roads that have service/access roads, the navigation will want to enter the freeway/highway/tollway/etc. If the driver stays on the access road or exits onto the access road, Waze does not detect that and keeps the location locked to the planned route. If Waze wants to route you onto a freeway/highway/tollway/etc. and you do not take the on-ramp, the app locks onto the planned route and thinks you are on the highway.
It would be nice if, when there are multiple parallel roads, that the app reduces the distance over which it will snap to a road.…

Remaining travel time instead of toll value
If there are tolls involved on the route, its being showed the toll value instead of the remaining travel time. It should always show the remaining travel time or there should be an options to choose what to show.

Routes for Sedan to avoid Rough Dirt Roads
For the safety of drivers Waze should have a program to safely route low cars like sedan to avoid dirt roads in order to avoid accidents

road ahead preview button
I would like to have an on map button which, on hold or on press, will zoom out the map to show the entire route ahead.
Releasing or pressing again will go back to regular nav mode.
This is great for getting a sense of the route and not having to be constantly alert to input from the client (visual or auditory).

when is rush hour?
when I choose a destination, It would be wonderful if Waze would tell me when is rush hour on that route (based on past data) so I can plan ahead.

Consider real-time & historic traffic patterns for all appropriate routes prior to proposing best route
Real-time traffic patterns for longer journeys are of limited use. Further, in the case of short journeys where there is a vast difference between on- and off-peak traffic patterns, it would be very helpful if the app could consider historic conjestion zones over the period of a few days or months.

Please create a route delivery option that will guide drivers to The docking side of a building. This will save time for drivers.
As a route driver I often use Waze especially when visiting a new customer. I have noted that Waze will always guide one to the front of the building which is not always convenient when doing deliveries. I suggest that you create a “deliveries option” for people like me. Creating a second address option for each destination i.e guiding route drivers to the docking side of the building would save time for drivers that are often on tight time schedules. This option I believe may lead to increased user demand for Waze by people like me.

Show past travel routes or routes I typically take as a specific option
I would like a feature that shows routes I’ve taken in the past or most popular routes I’ve taken in the past as an option even if it is not a quicker route. Then I would know why I am taking a different route today.

Commercial Routes WAZE
My husband needs a WAZE that will give him trucking routes that take into account low bridges and narrow roadways and direct him around these obstacles. Please make one soon!!!!!!

Suggestion: Option to set alert distance for events on the route
Currently, alerts for speed cameras, police, and speed bumps are shown too close to the actual point. I would like to suggest that Waze allow users to configure the distance in advance for these alerts (for example: 500m, 1km, 2km).
Benefits:
More reaction time and safer speed adjustment.
Prevents sudden braking right on top of the radar or obstacle.
Improves user experience, especially on highways and fast roads.
This customization would be very useful for drivers, particularly on long-distance routes.

Map should prioritize route ahead on screen
In addition to "Keep map north up" on or off (the only options I see currently), I'd like an option that does an offset to navigation direction (map north up "off") where it tries to fit more of the road ahead on the screen.
I regularly drive curvy roads and it shows me no warnings ahead on the highway when the road just curves left or right straight off the screen. What I'm suggesting would not keep North up, but keep the road ahead up and on-screen more often. This is probably more helpful on highways than in towns, so…

Alternate route display should follow the setting for "Keep map north up"
If "Keep map north up" is off then alternate routes should be displayed with my position at the bottom of the screen.
This will make it easier to visualise alternate routes relative to my current position.
Also applies to the app but I'm only able to select one category.
