We would LOVE to hear the Dukes of Hazzard voices/characters on Waze! The voice of gorgeous Beau Duke to report the police ahead . . . Sheriff Roscoe to report a hazard . . I plan to use Waze data to support defense for moving out of lane unsafely summons - is there any legal precedence? I have great downloads from Waze site showing I never moved out of my lane - will the New Rochelle NY court accept these photos?

Get some ideas from the Tom Tom app to make Waze more user friendly.
I like using this app when I travel, it would be even better if the app had some of the qualities like the Tom Tom app, for example it lets you know when it’s time to get ready to make a turn on the correct road it starts flashing instead of counting down like the Waze app does. I think a flash would be more visible or something that lets you know it’s time to turn instead of a count down. I’ve missed my turn a few times because of this and if it would let you know what lane…

South Africa is riddled with crime and Waze can literally save hundreds of lives by allowing users to post hot sports at dangerous intersections. Simply being aware of a dangerous intersection will allow people to stop at that light with a safe escape distance. improvement for the users
while standing, sometimes Waze thinks we changed course, or decides we are on the opposit side and recalculates a achange in course, and it's realy confusing.

I need suport on this as I've tried to get Waze to make this adjustment but they keep saying enough people have to agree
It seems crazy to me that you can so easily post a vehicle stopped on the side of the road...not effecting traffic at all...yet there is no option to report a vehicle broken down in the middle of Freeway lanes, causing a monumental traffic jam! There is an option for roadkill!!! Like a squashed squirrel is really going to impact your journey...but nothing for a vehicle. I had this problem happen to me. Show international borders on route
It would be very helpful to show international borders. For some reason these are not visible once the route is chosen. Due to uncertain wait times at some borders, which Waze isn't very good at calculating, it would be helpful to at least display them and let drivers make choices based on other information (there are other apps that monitor these wait times, such as Border Watch). Also, had I not already known that Waze was sending me through Albania, I would have been unable to avoid additional charges, hassles, and delays (Albania requires extra documentation from European drivers that…

Why can't I get the route I want? I want to go from L.A. to San Francisco via route 101. Why Can't I get that on Waze?
I want to take route 101 to San Francisco from L.A. Why can't I do it? It is not a choice of route and I can't adjust the route. Also, why does it keep sending me thorough TOLL roads? I don't want to go through tolls.

Eliminate buggy interface
Toll notification in Android auto turns off turn by turn completely when pop up is closed. Make it work without telling me about tolls for hours.

Shortcut to settings while navigating
I have one major piece of feedback. While one is driving and let’s say they decide during their route to avoid highways or toll roads, the user must stop the route, go to the settings, change the settings, reinsert the address and go. On Google Maps, there’s a shortcut to these settings so you don’t have to take all the those steps. Your app has to be safer to use. Let’s be real, people don’t always pull over to use their phone. When I’m in the middle of traffic and I have to go through all your steps to change…

Center median police reporting
Report a police officer in the median of the road rather then reporing in your lane or the oncoming lane.

Show Lane Guidance Even If Continuing Through Junction
Lane guidance (along with Visual Instructions) is a great and helpful feature, but I've noticed that it really only comes up if making a turn.
There are many locations I've come across as an editor where a Visual Instruction would be great if continuing on the road because it provides the driver with more information. Unfortunately, even if I add it to the system it never comes up because I'm going straight through the intersection/junction.
I think showing lane guidance regardless of the "turn" would make the app more user friendly, but it obviously needs to be balanced to not…

Report "Good" road conditions
When I report "bad" road conditions, it helps drivers around me avoid an area. Sometimes, when I reach an area that is reported as "bad" it turns out to actually be less congested or jammed up than reported earlier.
It would be very beneficial to everyone using the app if we could report when a road has good conditions. This would meet the goal of providing real time map updates that benefit everyone looking to see what route is best for them based on the conditions.

Inaccurate “Public transportation” Ticket Alerts for motorcycle-only routes
In Taiwan, many segments and turns (which aren’t public transportation lanes) are restricted to motorcycles only (24/7). However, the system currently assumes they are public transportation lanes by design and shows this pop-up.
As a result, when navigating through these routes, the app mistakenly shows a ‘Ticket Alert’ with a ‘Public transportation vehicles only’ warning. This causes a lot of confusion for users.
To improve the user experience, I suggest displaying a specific ‘Motorcycles Only’ warning when approaching routes restricted to motorcycles.
This would act as a great reminder for users who might have accidentally set their vehicle type…

Warn the track that the driver is
In some places of São Paulo, like Marginal Tiete and Pinheiros, the mobile GPS not really identifies which track you are (central, express or side) and this can make it difficult when it is done the route (or recalculated). It would be interesting that the user could "fix" warning in which the roads are really and so the waze calculate the route correctly.

Add ability to report road closures at railroad crossings
Currently, you are only able to report road closures at intersections. As we all know, the road closures don't only occur at intersections. It would be nice if we could report a road closure at, let's say, for instance, a railroad crossing. Giving us the ability to report road closures at places other than intersections will allow us to plan our route more accurately and avoid us having to learn about time wasting detours the hard way.

Can you do a better job on I 66 near Washington?
I have to say you’re coverage of I 66 outside of Washington DC has become absolutely terrible. Today I got trapped in a traffic jam for over an hour. No warning, no attempt to route me around it… nothing. And this happens over and over again. At best you sometimes note there’s some construction but you don’t seem to understand that entire lanes get shut down. You guys are really letting me down on that area
