1. Bugs in the new version

   After android auto/waze was updated to the latest version, I see many bugs there:
   1) When I disconnect the phone from the car, application remains working on the phone. In previous version it wasn't the case;
   2) Hey google is not working anymore on the new version. On older version understood voice commands;
   3) New black squares on the screen hides half of the route? Why have you added them? Maybe it would be better to add it to transparent box?
   4) If you enjoy the current layout, maybe the user can choose, which layout should stay on his screen? Configurable layout should not be a huge challenge for developers.

   The person who approved that version, should be fired immediately. Seems it was no testing.

2. The ETA on the shared route (My Drive) website is no longer visible on older browsers

   The ETA is visible only for a very short time before the map is overlaid. Older browser is the default browser of an older Android phone (Samsung with Android 2.3) and IE9.

   Also tried the current Firefox and Chrome versions, and both are OK.

4. Waze app for Adroid 7

   I recently replaced my Android 4.2 phone with a new Android 7 (Nougat) phone and to my dissappointment that there is not a Waze app available for my phone. Waze is such a useful navigation tool, now I have use a second rate nav aid.

5. Route list as secondary display

   I like how on Apple Carplay the iPhone is used to display the route list. Can this be implemented with Android Auto? Also, is there a way to display the route list in Android Auto? This is a big feature that seems to be missing.

   Please make speedometer and speed sign in left top corner aplication for android auto , and 2 time !!! bigger! That functions most important for waze , compared with google map! Thanks

7. Allow for non numeric numbers in address for places.

   Today twice I tried entering two business's that were not already on map. Because I was not allowed to use the "-" (dash symbal) to represent the suite number, technically the address was NOT completely correct. In a large complex that could be only way to find a business. You already allow numeric keypad to come up for inputting so why not allow the minus key to actively work as well. It also causes you to earn less points because it thinks you are inputting same address as entered by a previous user. I was inputting from my Android phone WAZE App

8. Make the "speed camera" warning smaller in landscape

   Hi :-)
   I've been using Waze for a long time and I enjoy using it a lot.

   However lately the bar that shows arrival time has grown, leaving less space for the map.

   That's not the worst though. The worst is that, when nearing a speed camera or speed enforcement zone, the warning covers almost half the screen, pushing the speedometer behind the directions. As you can maybe surmise, I'd really like to be able to see how fast I'm going when nearing a speed camera.

   I use the app in landscape because that's the least intrusive way to fix my phone to my front window.

   Pls fix, I'd really like to continue using the app,

9. Add Multitouch Support for Waze on CarPlay (iOS 26)

   Starting with iOS 26, Apple officially added multitouch support for CarPlay apps (confirmed on Apple’s developer website).
   However, Waze still doesn’t support multitouch gestures such as pinch-to-zoom — which makes map navigation less intuitive and even unsafe while driving.

   Currently, zooming in or out requires multiple taps, forcing drivers to take their eyes off the road.
   This is not only inconvenient but also reduces overall safety.

   It’s especially surprising because:

   On Android Auto, Google Maps already supports multitouch, and it works great — smooth, natural, and safe.

   Even in the Waze mobile app (without CarPlay), when the phone is mounted on the dashboard, you can easily zoom in and out with gestures. There are no + / – buttons, yet it feels perfectly intuitive.

   So why does CarPlay Waze still miss this feature?

   Why it matters:

   Improves driver safety by minimizing distraction.

   Makes Waze consistent with Google Maps and the Waze mobile app.

   Takes advantage of Apple’s new CarPlay multitouch capabilities introduced with iOS 26.

   Suggestion:

   Please add multitouch gestures (pinch-to-zoom, pan, rotate) for Waze on CarPlay.
   It’s already supported by iOS 26 and would make a huge improvement in safety, usability, and consistency across platforms.

   How many cars actually support multitouch?

   Far more than most people realize — multitouch isn’t some brand-new feature.
   It’s been standard in many cars for years, across almost all major manufacturers:

   Volkswagen Group (VW, Audi, Škoda, SEAT): since around 2014–2015

   BMW: since 2015 (iDrive 5.0 and newer)

   Mercedes-Benz: since 2016–2017 (NTG 5.5 and later)

   Ford: since 2016 (Sync 3)

   Toyota / Lexus: since 2018 (Entune 3.0 / Lexus Display Audio)

   Hyundai / Kia / Genesis: since 2016–2017

   Fiat / FCA / Stellantis brands (Fiat, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, etc.): since around 2016–2017 (Uconnect 4 and newer)

   Renault / Nissan / Mitsubishi Alliance: since 2017–2018

   Mazda: since 2018 (Mazda Connect Gen 2)

10. Alternate routes color text

    On the alternative routes page, on an Android phone, reading the best route information is difficult because the text and green background are bright. I would like you to improve the contrast, maybe changing the text to black.

11. Waze felhasználása vezérlésre

    Mivel a navigáció pontos hely adatokkal rendelkezik, ezért fel lehetne használni gépjármű, más eszközök vezérlésére. Így például mivel a KRESZ 44 § 8. bekezdése alapján "Lakott területen kívüli úton a forgalomban részt vevő gépkocsit nappali menetjelző lámpával vagy tompított fényszóróval ki kell világítani" igy erre való figyelmeztetés vagy vezérlést be lehetne építeni a szoftverbe. Ugyanígy elterjedt ha valaki hazaér akkor egy x km körben "vezérlőjelet" küldjön ki a navigáció a garázs/kertkapu nyitására. Ez a vezérlés akár történhet valami bluetooth-os wifi-s, de akár ma újra népszerű Tone-DTMF adatátvitel segítségével is.

12. Allow the app to work without google play services/store/post it on github

    As Google will be breaking normal downloading and forcing a lot of android users to use the app store (which is already a pain), and if this happens a lot of users who use android exclusively for the lack of restrictions will move away from android to open source forks which possibly won't even support google services at all...

    Please post a version of Waze on github with its own internal services/dependencies! (Similar to how it works on Apple, no?)

13. Show as Navigation Option

    Waze does not show as a navigation optiot in the Google Navigation System. Other apps, such as, Scout, Google navigation, Google Maps, show as navigation options. Waze does not appear on the Android Navigation option screen.

    It should be an easy fix for the Android system to recognize Waze navigation.

14. Incident/slowdown on map view when selecting route

    About a year ago, when using the map view to select a route on the Android app, you were able to see traffic slowdowns. This was super helpful when trying to decide which route to use. Currently, when you view the list, it shows traffic speeds by color and incidents/hazards/police, but there is no way to know exactly where the accident or slowdown is located. If you look at the map view, the proposed route is all one color, and doesn't show slowdowns or incidents.

    It would be great to at least see the orange, yellow, and red colors for traffic speeds on the map view. Incidents such as major accidents could be very helpful as well.

17. Userabolity improvement

    Please provide an option whereby I can get rid of the wear too line or the my waze line on my phone. It takes up way too much space to have both of them and it didn't always used to be that way. I am running android 12 it's android 12 on a Samsung S22 and this was the same thing that happened on my android sandroid Samsung S5. 5. This is really annoying and you're forcing me to look for an alternative to waze

19. Display bug onAndroid Auto

    I can't find a way to notify a bug, so here it is as an improvement proposal:
    When I plan a drive on the phone before plugin the phone to the car, I don't get anymore alerts and display of speed in Android Auto.
    If Waze is off on the phone when I connect to the car, and I start the itinerary in Android Auto, everything is fine.
    I connect using USB-C cable, and phone is Fairphone 3 with Android 10, but I saw it on other phone brands as well

20. Orientações de direções no celular

    Aplicativo Waze é mal elaborado para o Android Auto em comparação com a Apple CarPlay.
    No Android Auto não é possível obter as orientações de direções no celular enquanto está ligado na tela do carro. Isso causa muito desconforto.
    Na Apple CarPlay o Waze está completamente redondo e sem apontamentos à fazer.
