When marking something on the map you should be able to add info re: what ur posting
Add the ability to define what exactly you are advising others of on the map. For example; instead of just police in general adding the ability to define weather it is a speed camera or an RBT etc

Open up Waze to developers so we get third party plugins!
Would be amazing if Waze allowed other developers to integrate their software AND hardware to use with Waze.
Escort radar has their own app where if you hold a button on their radar detector, it'd report it on their cloud to other Escort users that a police is spotted.
However, having to have two apps loaded at a time makes it very difficult to catch alerts from both apps at the same time. Opening up an SDK or API on Waze and allowing other companies and developers to integrate with Waze would allow Waze to dominate the industry.

Location alert
Sound an alert telling me that I am coming up to a speed trap (a location I have put in)
I would enter the location of a known speed trap and get a warning before I get there. The location of that speed trap remains in the system unless I remove it.

Layout problem with iPhone 14Pro
Speed display is behind dynamic island in Apple iPhone 14Pro Mobile phone. It is quite annoying to guess if the speed is 61 or 81 when only last number is visible.

Add an option to change where the alert is displayed on your phone screen (eg. speed cameras) from the bottom or top of your phone screen
Add an option to change where the alert is displayed on your phone screen (eg. speed cameras) from the bottom or top of your phone screen. As i find that for me when the alert is on the bottom i miss it due to the placement of my phone in the phone holder so if it was on the top of the screen that would be much better for me personally so give users the option to change where the alert is displayed on screen.

Automatic zoom and popup alert
Scale slider to set automatic zoom scale/speed on map! I would like set zoom level, it is too much sudden!
Popup alert are too big! Many time is very difficult follow the route because alerts cover the map for too much time. An idea can be a banner in a side of the screen! Keep the map on the screen.

Reduce height of Warnings bar
Using Waze landscape on Android speed camera warnings etc cover up speed indicator, could be half the height, very frustrating and turned off all the warnings.

More specific warnings
Can there be an option to report a speed van/camera in Ireland?
Currently speed vans (privately operated) are reported as police which is not accurate but its the closest option however there is a big difference between a parked private speed van and a garda checkpoint/police.Thank you!

There must new route selection with HOV lanes 2+ or 3+ passengers.The warning of speed cams,redlight cams,hidden police radar cars in Waze
In USA the Waze must update a new route selection when there is congestion earlier.Especially Google Maps works very well to avoid any congestion before arrival that point.There must a new selection for HOV lanes 2+ or 3+ passengers in same car with entries to HOV lanes.The warning must be often for Speed cams,redlight cams,hidden police cars.The most important update for the colors are conflicting about traffic congestion.The userface of map must be update similar vs Google Map.I am glad to have Waze ,but the aim must be a better than previous.thanks
1 voteThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze offers HOV routing for taxis. To change your vehicle type go to Settings > Vehicle type. There are currently no plans to add more HOV options.

In my convertible I prefer slower roads
I would love the option of driving on slower roads. Think of it as an extension of "avoid highways" but with the option of setting the speed limit that you don't want to exceed and let the excellent navigator that we all love plot the course out of our needs and wants.
I would love to be able to set Waze to calculate routes never exceeding the speed of my choice. Especially when we decide to drive slowly through the landscape in the cabriolet. Add option to add sound decibel readers
NYC specifically in the 5 boroughs of new york as well as a couple of other states started a program for sound decibel readers to be installed through out the city in other words noise cameras for cars and motorcycles. NYC has always been a loud place so this is un necessary. It is also not right towards cars that come from the factory stock such as scat pack chargers, hellcats, mustangs, harley davidson motorcycles, sports bikes, As well as many super cars. Hello,
Would it be possible that when navigating, the overview of the route with arrow and all traffic jams and speed cameras etc, this arrow moves dynamically and shows how far away the arrow is from the construction site, speed camera or traffic jam? This works very well with the Sygic app. I think that this feature would help many drivers to get a better overview. Thank you4 votesThanks for your feedback. Route choice
Hello, would it be possible to add choices of route type, for example shortest or fastest. Cause now it's not clear how he tries to lead us and lately it seems it's not logical at all. For example, I was driving through Autobahn in night, where I can drive on 140km/h but waze taught it would be a great idea to change this route to a small forest road that has a 30 km/h speed limit with bumps on road.

Some bugs encountered with the application
I use Waze very frequently for my work. Both as a GPS and as an assistant for road hazards.
I've noticed a few anomalies in Android Auto.When I approach a speed camera, Waze informs me about it and the distance. As soon as I have passed the zone, the "Speed camera" indication remains on the screen and Waze does not provide any other information.

redlight calculation
Can you calculate red lights by using current users data when they stop and start?
When I drive home you then could give me an estimation on the speed to keep to hit green all the way or to hit green at the right time or wait the least amount of time at a red light.Some lights change every minute and others at different intervals but could you figure this out using gps data (speed etc.)?

There should be a facility to enter an estimated time that roadworks will be present. The site could be linked to a pop uo question similar to the speed cameras, 'not here??' This would allow others to confirm when the roadworks were finished. '

EV charging list filters
It would be perfect to see/sort/filter the charging list with distance (to current position, regardless of added time) availability, and charging speed. When a charger is needed, it should be possible to pick from a couple of closer, available and faster selection.

Better iPad interface.
The iPad interface is a bit cumbersome to use while driving. I find many of the buttons are too small. I have my iPad docked in a RAM mount next to the stick shift, so its right next to my shift hand.
Different screens appear in different sizes (like the event selection screen is cut in half when reporting a hazard or similar).
Also, display of speed and similar information in the lower right should be larger, much like the turn-by-turn directions in the lower left.
I would also appreciate any prompt buttons to be larger. If the buttons could…11 votes -
Possibly Clear Up what is meant by the "Traffic Jam" reports
Instead of having "Moderate", "Heavy" and "Standstill", why not clarify these categories a little more. They could possibly be instead "Congestion", "Slow Down" and "Standstill". I think these adequately reflect the different degrees of traffic jams that occur. Congestion is still dangerous but might not reflect a great decrease in speed. When drivers will have to decrease their speed that is useful to know, and of course "Standstills" are self explanatory.
An alternative option could be to elaborate on the provided categories more instead of changing them. They just seem a little ambiguous.3 votes
