1. CarPlay update

   Waze is super useful in car over my cellphone (iPhone)
   However, once plugged into my car with CarPlay, the experience is worst that ever. In fact, the CarPlay interface of the app does not support all functions offered in the mobile version such as :
   1. Unable to signify a fixed radar photo
   2. Unable to specify the police specification (visible, hide, opposite side)
   3. Unable to launch a SOS and so on
   In fact, the types of available notices is so small.

   In addition, you can’t find a gas station easily as in the app cause you don’t have any shortcuts options even after pressing on the search button in the upper part of the screen.

   Waze should update their CarPlay Experience ASAP by replicating the interface in the phone on CarPlay, so, by adding more options, adding shortcuts (gas, parking, etc) and by adding a new feature to find the cheapest gas station on our way to our final destination.

2. Add H2 Hydrogen as Fuel Type

   In Europe and California to name a few there is already a network of automotive Hydrogen filling stations available, and expanding. Sometimes these are stand-alone stations, sometimes in a combination with other fuel types. The Waze community should be able to add automotive Hydrogen filling stations on the map, both as a new location or at an existing gas station. The wazer should be able to provide price information on Hydrogen. Moreover the Wazer should be able to search for Hydrogen filling stations as he would search for a traditional gas station, including options along the planned route including price information. (this would fit in perfectly with existing gas stations functionality)

3. New state notification

   I would love to get a notification when entering a new state while driving, such as "welcome to New York," I find it helpful when navigating to know when I have reached a new state

   Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

4. Alert for run-down animals

   English: We members of a robotics team created a new Waze alert. Imagine how much will be feasible alert when someone saw or trampled an animal? Usually the people don’t know what do when they trample an animal, if the Waze has this option the rescue of these animals will be easier of be accomplished and the animals will not die for staying for a long time waiting to they be ransomed.
   Will have an animal run-off alert (just as they already exist the camera alerts, per example) when the user to click on this alert he will notify if the animal is wild, domestic or if he could not identify, and if is a large or small animal.
   As in accidents the user also will be able to take a picture or comment something. The environmental police and the fire department (that are the organs that rescue the animals run down) will use the live map, which is already a resource available in the website, to do the rescues.
   What do you think of the idea?

   Portuguese: Nós integrantes de uma equipe de robótica criamos um novo alerta para o Waze. Imagina o quão será viável alertar quando alguém visse ou atropelasse um animal? Geralmente as pessoas não sabem o que fazer quando atropelam um animal, se o Waze tiver esta opção o resgate destes animais será mais fácil de ser realizado e os animais não morrerão por ficar muito tempo esperando para serem resgatados.
   Haverá um alerta de atropelamento de animal (assim como já existe os de radares, por exemplo) quando o usuário clicar neste alerta ele notificará se o animal é silvestre, doméstico ou se não conseguiu identificar, e se o animal é de grande ou pequeno porte. Assim como em acidentes o usuário também poderá tirar foto ou comentar algo. A polícia ambiental e o corpo de bombeiros (que são os órgãos que resgatam os animais atropelados) utilizarão o mapa ao vivo que já é um recurso disponível no site, para fazer os resgates.

5. Mudança na tecnologia 3G deixa Waze "maluco" sem GPS, nos forçando a desligar o 3G de diversas operadoras do Brasil

   Todos brasileiros que estiverem enfrentando problemas no GPS de seus aparelhos por culpa de mudanças na tecnologia 3G que as operadoras vem realizando de 2015 para cá, por favor somem-se a mim votando para que a Waze interceda junto às companhias telefônicas para corrigirem ou apresentarem alternativas a este problema.

   A maioria dos usuários simplesmente vem deixando de usar o Waze, por acreditar que seja problema no aplicativo, quando o problema na verdade é algum conflito do GPS (qualquer outro app que use terá o mesmo problema) com mudanças que vem ocorrendo na tecnologia 3G.

   Afirmo com segurança que o problema é no 3G pois assim que desativo ele no celular, ficando no modo Edge, o GPS volta a funcionar plenamente, PORÉM, com a troca de dados comprometida!
   E afirmo que o problema decorre de mudanças DAS OPERADORAS por viajar pelo Brasil de carro e perceber que de um Estado para outro o GPS volta a funcionar!

   Aqui no sul do Brasil, estado do Rio Grande do Sul - RS, por onde ando o Waze fica "saltando" de localização ou perdendo o sinal. Então desativo o 3G e ele volta a funcionar, mas assim perde dados atualizados da estrada...
   Mas, logo ao entrar no estado de Santa Catarina - SC, o Waze volta a funcionar perfeitamente NO 3G!!! Só que já enfrentei exatamente o mesmo problema estando em SC em outubro de 2015, provavelmente pela VIVO estar testando a mudança de tecnologia, voltando e mantendo a tecnologia anterior agora no final do ano.

   Assim, amigos, acredito que MUITOS OUTROS USUÁRIOS DE WAZE no Brasil (e talvez no mundo?) estejam passando pelo mesmo problema, mas culpando o App! Já localizei na internet alguns relatos de problemas semelhantes em SP, RJ, DF, tanto da operadora VIVO, quanto TIM e OI.
   Então deixem seus comentários e votem para termos o Waze de volta à pleno vapor em todo Brasil, é só eles têm força para cobrar uma solução!!

6. Alerta de atividades de bandidos e marginais

   Como sugestão e até como utilidade pública o Waze poderia, ao invés, ou melhor, além de alertar onde temos policiais o sistema poderia alertar onde temos atividades de bandidos... Em São Paulo em muitos semáforos ou em pontos de congestinamentos por vezes avistamos a atividade de marginais e isso poderia ser muito útil para que o motorista redobrasse sua atenção ao risco de assalto...

7. lock screen orientation

   My screen is constantly flipping and tumbling while I'm on the move, making the visual map virtually useless. A simple option to lock orientation in the app would solve this.

8. Visualize BEST TIME TO LEAVE for a given destination (red to green). Save time if you know the peaks.

   Problem
   You know where to go, but want to know what would be the best time to leave to avoid peak traffic.
   At the moment you a ETA, which is nice to know but doesn't help you to plan.

   Idea
   You plan a route, get an ETA and a option to choose the best time for leaving. Could be a color coded (green to red) 24h hour-by-hour "forecast" of expected travel time (graph or simple list). This could include current traffic situation for the next few hours, averages for the rest. Also the next 2 hours could be split into let's say quarters of an hour. Sometimes being 15 minutes late can result in being stuck in rush hour. It could calculate minutes/percentages you could save or you could spend in traffic.

   Benefit
   - Wazers can save on travel time by choose their ideal time to leave.
   - Other Wazers benefit from distribution of traffic over time - reduce the peaks, facilitate low traffic.
   - @Waze: You want to save 5 minutes per Wazer each day by providing the best route. Save them another 5 minutes by enabling them to choose the perfect time to leave.

   What do you think? Any other ideas?

9. Use the Bluetooth mesh for alerts when there is no internet connection (like Bitchat)

   Using Bluetooth mesh technology to create a network where each device sends an alert to the next device, until one of the devices is connected to the internet and that alert is sent to the network. Just like it's done with the Bitchat app.
   Many times we drive a very long stretch without internet access, and important events happen on the road that we need other drivers to see. With this Bluetooth network activated, we can share with drivers near us, and they can share with those closest to them, eventually reaching someone who has satellite internet or even mobile data.

11. Add stops

    Before, it was possible to add multiple stops on Waze, and this is important for me since I work with deliveries. However, after the latest updates, it's only possible to add a single stop. On top of that, instructions like "turn right," "turn left," and "roundabout" are no longer being spoken, which makes using Waze impractical and forces me to rely on Google Maps. Please bring back the feature to add multiple stops because, even on the slowest day, I have seven consecutive deliveries to complete. I live in Brazil, where security is terrible if not nonexistent and having to sit in my car, parked in an unfamiliar area, typing an address is dangerous.

12. Scottish voices

    Please please please can we have the following options for voices Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness, Highlands accented voices with dialects. If you are from these areas and far from home then it’s a big thing to hear a familiar sounding voice. Currently there is not one Scottish voice at all and we feel left out

    Po's words of wisdom was removed from recent waze updates. Pls put it back as it really lightens up my days during daily traffics.

    Also, if possible, to have Master Shifu or Master Oogway as voice guides in future updates.

14. Make footpaths more distinguishable in the app

    A footpath in the app is the same colour and barely a fraction of a millimeter thinner than a road, so it’s easy to miss where a driveable road ends and continues as a footpath. Changing footpaths to dashed lines just like in the browser Map Editor would 100% solve the problem.

15. Send Pot hole data to government for repair work automatically.

    Standardize pot hole reporting to the government by automatically sending the data from Waze to the proper agency's so they can plan and repair the areas that will have the biggest impact.

    Waze should have a weather integration where you can see local radar on the map as you drive (able to toggle it on/off). It would allow for real time weather and traffic updates.

    I would like to ask for the following feature to be added to make things clearer for UK drivers.

    Add an additional notification icon for use in the UK which will allow us to distinguish between POLICE and POLICE SPEED TRAPS. UK drivers don't seem to understand that the POLICE icon is for POLICE SPEED TRAPS, and not just for whenever they see a POLICE car, and as they panic every time they see a police car they want to tell everyone else about it, and so assume that the POLICE icon should immediately be deployed. This is confusing because it does not indicate the presence of a speed trap. However, in the UK we also occasionally encounter actual police speed traps, or mobile speed detection radar or mobile speed cameras. It would be good if you would add this extra icon for POLICE SPEED TRAP so that we are able to differentiate between the mere presence of POLICE and the particular presence of POLICE SPEED TRAPS.
