2. Contribution reward for driver who give way during heavy traffic

   during heavy traffic jam, driver hit the gas & stop again, the traffic condition remain not smoothly for very long period.
   can waze pop up a message to driver, drive slow to 20km/h(or some specific detected speed ) to keep distance with front car & change to slow lane. and who accept this get the reward.

   and always pop up a mesage teaching driver don't cruise at the fast lane, give way to other & collect reward when they accept

   of course if gps can really detect the driver who really change lane, the reward ranked are much valuable

4. route changes suggestions setting

   On route changes suggestions, please can you add a setting that is a kind if accept or ask for confirmation, and if the route change pop ups it auto disappears after 1 minute? It's against the law in UK to touch the screen when moving, so having this pop up a d it stays on the nav screen until you accept or cancel is a real problem! If I can have the settings to auto accept or request , and then if it pops up on screen and I can't stop the car to accept or not it minimises or disappears after a minute, so I can at least see directions, speed limits etc

5. Stop the app suggesting a "better" route during a drive if it'd require a sudden change of lanes/direction

   I've just dealt with a user report complaining that their app will sometimes suddenly change the route as they're approaching a major junction, and in order to follow the new route would require a late and potentially dangerous change of lanes.

   Given we now have lane guidance and lane count details available in the map data, it should be feasible to work out when it might be a really crazy idea to be telling the user to start following a different route to the one they're currently on, due to the need to make a sudden change of lanes, and stick to the existing route at least until the user gets past the current multi-lane section of their route and is in a better position to follow an alternative.

   In a similar vein, even on sections of the route without lane details (whether because they just haven't been added yet, or because they don't need to be added), it'd also be preferable for the route recalculations not to assume that a user will be able to follow a different route through the next junction, if the junction would be reached within a minimum time threshold (to account for both the distance remaining and the speed at which their vehicle is travelling), and instead force any alternate route to still follow the same path through that junction, so that any change in route which IS then suggested gives the user enough time to see what the change entails.

7. Toll Setting Reset

   When I turn toll roads off, stop resetting my preferences every time I open the app. They should be permanent until I change them.
   Also, update your maps. I was just charged because the shoddy GPS sent me through a route it didn't recognize as a toll. Stop directing me to break the law.

8. Half-way points or ETA to points on map

   After a trip of several days where I knew I couldn’t make my destination before I needed to stop, I would like to se a feature where, given current conditions, Waze would show the halfway point, or possible future location based on driving time.

   Let’s say my trip is 560 miles and 9 hours….if I drove 6 hours (I enter the time) where would I be? Where is the half way point? Or, if a select a point on the route map, how far and how long is the travel time.

   Just more information.

   Love my Waze…I always tell my wife to trust it.

9. Hazard link fix

   The car on roadway report link was removed. While being on the shoulder is probably the most seen report for cars stopped, a car stopped in the middle of the road is also a serious hazard. I think this link should be added back.

10. GPS SIGNAL FOR WIFE.

    I was out 4x4ing with a friend and got stuck. We had no cell coverage and no internet, so the only way would be by using GPS. Having a distress option so my wife could see we were ok and to stop her calling the police. Having a distress icon that can change colour green ok, orange stuck but ok and red for send help or something to that nature. Only thing would be she would be needing to log into my account via her iPhone or on my home PC to access this. I SLEPT ON THE COUCH THAT NIGHT!!

    Please remove from your street listing Canada Road, between Woodside Road and I280 in Woodside, CA 94062, this two lane country road is not appropriate for commuters. It has not stop lights, and only two stop signs. Long lines of cars block up this street during evening commute hours.

13. Caravan Mode / Follow Me Mode

    I've been thinking in a new mode for Wazers... I've been driving with family along the road in different vehicles, not once we've been able to keep the same speed or pace and we end loosing sight of where the vehicles are. In Mexico safety its a very important matter, and everytime we are not able to see where the other cars that are driving with us we call them or text them to see if everything is fine. I imagine a Caravan Mode in which multiple Waze accounts are linked for a trip and you can watch the vehicles listed in the CarPlay in a vertical sideway explaining things such as: amount of vehicles in the caravan, distance between one and another, if the vehicle is moving or stopped. Every vehicle will be able to post some special status, such as: Stop we are OK, Back on driving, SOS, etc... if we have this status next to the regular Waze display we will assure calm on everyone because we all will have visibility on where are the remaining vehicles and the distances between the next one. If the caravan is loosing the last vehicle someone can reduce the speed to accompany the last car. Everything to make it happen its already in control of Waze, speed, location, etc. It will make driving so much safe and with more detail on the other vehicles on the journey

14. Add rerouting on a route that has slowed down are block by a hazard.

    Is there a way to add a button and that when on a current route, you would be warned that the way is slowing down then it will automatically ask you if you want to reroute to avoid the congestion or accident.

    On reporting make it less choices so it can be reported quicker with one key touch to keep drivers focused on the road.

    Add a way to make a flag so you can report that issue later when your at a stop light or at the end your trip.

    Suggestion for Automatic Speed Unit Switching in Waze

    A pop-up window should appear when crossing into a country that uses a different speed unit (km/h or mph), allowing users to switch without interrupting navigation.

    For example, I drive in the UK, where I use miles and mph. When I enter France, which uses kilometers and km/h, Waze could display a prompt:
    “Would you like to switch to km/h?”
    This would let me change the unit instantly instead of stopping navigation and digging through the settings menu.

    Alternatively, Waze could switch automatically based on location or offer a setting with options like Auto / Manual for user preference.

    I live on Rua Marieta, Jardim Paulista, 01442-010, Sao Paulo, a 100 meter long, 6 meters wide street in a quiet neighborhood. After Waze, kids stopped playing in the streets and there are traffic jams all day long. Quality of life for residents has deteriorated considerably. Please stop suggesting this street.

    Found a display error on my iPad Split View landscape the Map is not centered it’s off to the side. And is there a way to mute the sound it makes when recalculating route. Since it doesn’t have multi stop function routine I just leave the last stop on my route.

18. Landscape functionality and ongoing waze issues

    1. Never block speedometer including with photo request, sped limit reached, text box. Never!
    2. Return and always keep speedometer in bottom left corner - currently often blocked including when speed reached which increases chance of speeding (landscape use). Squish main screen and do not cover with limit reached warning.
    3. Adjustable text size and speedometer size independently. Shrink window for police and other notifications to show under content and have banner push up to shrink... currently banner pushed speedometer up which is blocked by directions s panel (landscape use).
    4. Allow AI camera report and via voice.
    5. Remove default route pop up and click ok to go to destination! Enterered destination should go to directly or with 5 second go now timer. Not with 2 or 3 clicks... Remove need to touch phones with AI camera now on the roads for touching phones.
    6. Have photo request opt out or move it to appear over map right of direction panel (landscape use)
    7. Remove or move adverts when on to not cover speed limit (landscape use)
    8. Improve landscape use functionality when in splitscreen (work requirements... Above points all help.
    9. Centre map faster after touched navigation to view route ahead.
    10. Always keep goole voice button top right, currently removed on some screens including expanded directions.
    11. Send address with report for incorrect address - currently user required to remember what address a month later when a map editor is ready to fix it.
    12. Allow add stop voice command.
    13. Allow 2 add stop.
    14. Show total time for two stops.
    15. Allow carried speed zones for different times to be created (Victoria and or Australia). We have so many split speed zones such as one zone may be 40km at 7am to 9pm mon to Fri and to 5pm on weekends and 60km after those hours. It will help since spedi is always red and hard to read at the times outside of the specified time zone. Also make Speedo bolder.
    16. Return bold bigger text to destination location after entered to be easier to read while driving.
    17. Stop blocking the spedo. Yes I mentioned it but it's the most important feature of any.
    18. Don't ever remove audible speed alert.
    19. Remove so many clicks when destination entered and need to touch the phone.

    These have been a long time coming and have be the worst of user experience with the app. I use this landscape and landscape splitscreen for work. I only use this app. The functionality of the app has gotten worse with time and has not been improved at all in many of these areas. It would be nice to use my phone without being required to touch it when I give a destination and without concern to speed because I can't see the Speedo due to a pop up or poor text box scaling with added info (that can be returned to the right of the location box if required, or above and shrink screen with critical information. Currently to see spedo better I must increase the font or banner size or something in the phone. This increases the challenges already faced, so being able to adjust in Waze independently would be amazing.

    Also, update fixed camera locations. M1 in Victoria still hasn't had cameras marked for the past three years and they've been there a lot longer than that. When other stuff comes back to mind I'll pass them on here. But if you see my screenshots you'd see how **** it is, and I can easily explain a fix that would solve it.

19. Stop diverting traffic off of I-5 to Griffith Park in Los Angeles. There was a deadly hit and run there this week

20. Reporting App Abuse / False Police Indicators

    We have a neighbor who plays “Waze hall monitor” every single afternoon, marking that there’s a police officer in front of his house — even though there is never an officer present. He does this daily just to slow traffic in front of his home.

    I’ve tried to report it, but the profile shows only as “anonymous.” When I click on the police icon, the only option is a thumbs-up to confirm it’s there.

    Waze should add:

    • A “Not There” or thumbs-down option to counter false reports.

    • A Report User option to flag accounts that repeatedly post fake alerts.

    This would stop people from abusing Waze and keep alerts reliable for actual drivers.

    I’ve tried to report it, but the profile shows only as “anonymous.” When I click on the police icon, the only option is a thumbs-up to confirm it’s there.

    Waze should add:

    • A “Not There” or thumbs-down option to counter false reports.

    • A Report User option to flag accounts that repeatedly post fake alerts.
